I was delighted to received my shoes in a timely manner. Just in time for my bowling league night. The shoes were just what I had hoped for. The comfort and size were exactly the right fit. Physically unable to bowl anymore but will never give up my Dexters. I use them as street shoes as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. Star rating is faulty. They are a 10!

Zappos.com is a great company to do business with. I recently purchased the Dexter bowling shoes for my 83 year old mother. She can't believe how comfortable these shoes were from the first time she put them on. No breaking in required. We did purchase a 1/2 size larger then her normal shoe, which other reviews suggested. It worked out perfect. My mother's bowling game has even improved!

Best shoe for the price -
I bought these shoes last year. I wanted an inexpensive shoe so I would not have to rent shoes at our local bowling alley. They were not too comfortable when I tried them on but I figured for the price they would be ok. Today I worn them for the first time, they were great! There was zero problems with fit and they were so comfortable I was thrilled. My bowling game will never be good but at least the problem will not be with the fit of my bowling shoes!!

These shoes are so superior to bowling alley shoes, but they do feel a little short, so I have to wear trouser socks or hose instead of thicker socks.

These bowling shoes SPARE nothing!!
Extreme comfort and fit. I ordered a wide and found them to be a perfect fit for my foot. Light weight and very clean looking. I applaud Dexter this shoe is great.

I could not get this shoe to slide. I used it for 6 games and unfortunately could not get a good approach with it. Because I wore the shoe I realize I can not return it. I am considering another pair.

I find this to be a good shoe for the beginner bowler. I think the fit is true to size and comfortable. I think there is not much slide to the sole though. Over all I think this is a very good shoe for the money.

These shoes have been very comfortable since day one and finding wide width sizes is very difficult. They normally cost over $100.00; these shoes were priced right. Very comfortable and I am enjoying them everytime I go bowling. I may join another league so I can wear them more.

Good shoe for the casual bowler -
I ordered these shoes in a wide, and they fit perfectly right from the get-go; I didn't need any break-in time whatsoever. I bowl once a week in a non-sanctioned, company league, and the shoes have performed well. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the athletic-shoe appearance; I like the retro bowling shoes, but can't find any in my size or price range.

This shoe is too wide, I need to wear two pairs of socks, which only adds to how hot your feet get. They are heavy, too, but I have worn them all year and have been able to bowl great.

The price was right for the reputable brand "Dexter". Very comfortable & were true to size. Not crazy about the gym shoe look for a bowling shoe.

I wear narrow shoes and am always concerned when I have to order a medium. This one fit fine. The laces snug up easily. I am very happy with the purchase and, as always, the shoes arrived very quickly. I love Zappos. I never shop anywhere else.

The perfect solution for fun and function -
I'm an occasional bowler. It's a "nights out with friends" type of sport for me. It's great and performs well for the novice. The fit is wider than usual. It beats having to wear the shoe rentals at the alley.

Comfortable but a bit bland -
I bowl in a short-term duckpin league and wanted my own shoes. The rentals in my size always feel way too wide, since I wear a size that's shared between men and women. These fit the bill; they are comfortable and have a good slide to them. They have a "nurse-shoe" look to them, however, so if you are looking for style you might look elsewhere.

These bowling shoes are perfect in every way. I have worn them twice now, 2 hours each time bowling. I have no complaints and in fact they are extremely comfortable and functional.

THanks for your VERY Quick response. The shoes came in 2 days. I had no trouble exchanging the worng sixed ones either. You made it painless. I like the fact no tax.. no shipping and no cost to be to exchange the wrong size.
