Great Winter Boot -
I actually bought this boot because I live in Alaska and it has a fur lining, as well as a tread that you can actually use in the snow. They are fantastic. They look cute and believe it or not we like to look cute up here. I am also from the east coast originally and I think these would be perfect there as well. They fit right out of the box and so far they have worn very well and I've had them since AUG 07.

Great Boots!
These boots do fit on the slim and narrow side, which is good for those of us with a corresponding build. The leather is supple with a rich patina and the styling is a perfect blend of practical versatility and eye-catching panache. I'm looking forward to wearing these with pants as well as with both long and short skirts. The heel is just the right height and the sole is padded enough for all-day comfort without sacrificing an edgy elegance. Wish I could afford them in each color! Not sure why they're lined with faux fur, but maybe it'll feel good come winter... Thanks Zappos for your amazing customer service!

Perfect travel boot -
This is the perfect travel boot. I've worn mine for 48 hours straight of walking through airports, dirt roads, restaurants and first class lounges. With a long skirt, I can't think of anything that transitions from venue to venue as well as these. The not-too-high rubber heel really makes a difference. I did add a front foot pad to mine... I loved them so much I'm glad I found them here so I can get a second pair in another color. Fits my wide calves snuggly, but comfortable.

Missed the Mark -
The other reviews I read convinced me it was worth $250 to try this boot - wrong choice. It is much narrower than I expected, and anyone with any kind of muscle in your calves: BEWARE. I am a thin, petite person who played soccer in high school (10 years ago) and the boot won't even zip halfway up my leg. I also thought it looks better online, which was very disappointing. Needless to say, I returned them!

An amazing boot -
This is one of the most comfortable and stylish boots ever! Everyone notices and comments when I wear them! They are warm though, so better for cold climates. Also, the toe box is long, so I went with an 8.5 rather than a nine, so I can only wear thin socks with them, but since they are faux fur lined it does not matter. Calves are slim too, just so you know. A fave.

Nice looking boot -
Boot is comfy and warm. Nice look for a warm, casual boot. I have big calves, and can tuck my jeans inside these boots. If you have thin legs, these boots will be too big.

Fur Lining too warm -
I love the style, color and leather of this boot and wish it wouldn't have the fur lining. If you don't live in Alaska, then I don't think you will have much chance to wear them, as they are very warm. Also, the boot looks very narrow in the calve area, but it's not at all, as it has very thick fur lining. Otherwise a great boot!

Incredibly Comfortable but Not a Great Look -
If you are looking for a comfortable warm boot - this is it. It is extremely comfortable and warm. I didn't want to take it off for those reasons. However, the toe box is long so it makes your foot look longer and since I wear a size 10, I don't need extra length. Also, I was disappointed in the look of the leather. I thought it looked a little like a rubber boot when I had it on. So this pair is going back.

Amazing -
These are hands down, the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet! Perfect in every way. The look is stylish, goes perfect with jeans, but beautiful with skirts to show off the lacing up the back. The calf fits snug, but I really like that for a sleek fit and look. The heel height is perfect for going anywhere and wearing them all day long. No break in period for these, they feel as comfortable as slippers every time!

These boots are super cute. I just got them and I love the details: a touch elegant western stitching at the toe for character, lace-up at the back, the sole profile I usually only dream about (low but lifted, very streamlined), beautiful rich brown color. The leather is fine and so is the stitching. I am a size 10 (dress), and occasionally I have trouble with the shaft of a boot, but these are fine. My foot is average to narrow, and the fit is true.
My only negative comment is regarding the "fur" lining. It’s faux, I hope!, and unfortunately lines the entire boot, including the insole. Somehow I overlooked that detail before ordering. I live in Los Angeles and certainly don't need the extra warmth, but I love them too much not to keep 'em. Recommended!

LOVE THEM -
I have only one minor problem with these boots. The leather scuffs up quickly. I actually enjoy the not so new look with the slate gray.
They are great with skirts and jeans. Plus the lining is so soft you won't want to take them off!!
