Thorlos Hiker socks -
I use these socks in my boots when I ride my Harley and when I take off the boots my feet are always dry and comfortable.

Cushioned Travel -
The sock provide comfort and maximum cushioning however the person should buy a shoe one size larger to provide for the extra material that the sock is made of. I wore the sock all day with water shoes and it provided ideal comfort.

Not sexy but a workhorse w/ extra padding. Kind of like me.
Great socks for boots or shoes. If your shoes are already snug, these may make them uncomfortably so. But if you have adequate room, you'll appreciate the padding and comfort.

Work Socks-
These Thorlos Hiker Crew socks are the greatest socks for my work boots. They offer protection that no other socks can provide and would recommend them to any one who's hard on their feet and standing all day.

Once you wear them, you won't want other brands -
Have been wearing Thorlos for years and still love them and refuse to buy any other brand. They make a huge variety of styles and these thick hiking socks are super-cushioned, soft comfortable, hold their shape well and wear well. Absolutely the only bad thing I can think of is that the tops tend to unravel a bit over time.
