These boots are great if you have wide feet, foot problems such as bunions, corns, hammertoes, or swelling from a foot or heart condition, or just want to wear thick socks. The quality and comfort are excellent and the price is very good. They are good for snow or just wet weather.

Handsome boots -
Alas, I had to try the 4X width -- because that's all they had. I hoped with a couple pairs of socks it would do ... Comfortable seeming boots -- but this was just too wide! I wish they'd had a more-normal width!

Nice boots to have if walking in knee deep snow, -40F. I also wore them at work and had no foot pain at the end of 9 hours (concrete floors). Nice look to them as well. Add arch support inserts after they have been worn a few times, and they are even better. 5 stars then

Zappos saved me again -
A suddenly planned trip to the snow threw me into a frenzy. I have extra wide feet and there was nowhere in town that carried them. I had a couple of stores offer to order them. Order them? I could order them. So, I got on the Zappos site and found a pair of boots that worked great. They actually fit! My feet were warm and dry and the weekend went great. Zappos made it possible. Thank you!

Excellent boot -
VERY pleased with this boot. I need an EE width because of bunions and lots of depth because of hammer toes. This boot is excellent for both. It also had room for my insole. Easy to get on & off. Wonderful tread for winter walking. Service from Zappos is beyond excellent!

Very Nice Ankle Boots -
These are sturdy, warm, "no frills" boots with good traction. I found them to be a little tight around the top but leaving the zipper down just a bit made them very comfortable.

Great Boots!
These are fantastic boots and am very happy with them. They look great to wear out and about but they are also great for me to go out to feed the horses in, as long as it is not muddy I just don't want them to look like barn boots! ;) The pros of the boot- I love the two zipper concept it makes them so easy to throw on in a hurry! And makes it even easier when you have thicker socks on... no squeezing past the turn. And the tread on the sole is pretty hefty and I haven't had any problems slipping but not that I have gone running around on the ice to test them out either! They are true to width for a wide size. The cons- I can only think of one thing and that is the front part of the boot is a bit stiff when you first get them and hits on the lower shin/upper ankle but it has loosened up for me as I wore them. I had thought about sending them back for this reason as it was a gamble whether they would loosen up or not but it didn't take but wearing them a couple of hours to stretch and now I can wear them all day and they feel great! And I would suppose that is the reason other reviewers said the zippers would go down a little as they walked? I haven't noticed the zippers doing that but I haven't walked for miles at a time in them either.

Just what I was looking for!
The Frigid walker fits right, looks good, and feels warm. I feel safe walking over ice and snow, and it even looks good with jeans! I'd definitely get other Propet shoes.

I have extremely wide and hard to fit feet. These boots couldn't be more comfortable and good looking for everyday snow boots. They get all-around five stars.

Great WIDE ankle boot -
I ordered these for my sister who wears a women's size 11 EEE. The 4E size fits well with thin socks, and keeps out the snow and slush. That is exactly what she needed for the winter weather, and could not find in any other simple ankle boot (either men's or women's).

Yippie!!!! They fit!!!!
When my foot was last measured about 2 yrs. ago, the measurement was 8.5W. But, I usually go to a nine. Unfortunately, I have trouble finding shoes that fit my wide feet. So, whenever I can try a WW, I do so. I have been disappointed in the past when not even a WW fit. I was not going to order from Zappos anymore; although the customer service is excellent. I had surgery on me knee in August and it is not 100% better. Shopping in stores was difficult because I had trouble walking for a long time searching for my size. Most stores do not carry WW. I am in Michigan and we have had a couple of snow storms. These boots were great in the snow and comfortable. I really needed a flat boot that was easy to put on with me having a bad knee. These boots delivered. This is the first time I ordered a 9WW that fit. I will try more Propet shoes. I would recommend these boots to other people.

Good enough -
If you are looking for a shoe to get you through wet/snowy/slushy conditions going to and from your car, this shoe is fine. The traction is good and they are warm and waterproof but I walk a couple of miles each way to work and back and the insoles are not great. Also, when you walk for a while, the zippers come down a bit.

Wonderrrrful!
I purchased these in one of the rare Northwest snowstorms as the pair I had were about 15 years old and were starting to come apart. I have to walk a bit to and from bus stops and these were comfortable right away, I felt secure from slipping or falling except when the conditions were extremely icy. Easy to put on and take off and they kept my feet pretty warm.

My daughter directed me to this site as I had been having trouble finding winter boots. I am very difficult to fit because of arthritis and had given up looking for a boot which was easy to get into. This boot was the answer to my wishes. The fit is perfect. But the ease of access is the selling point. I'm really happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Just what I needed!
OK so since it never snows in Seattle, I had NO snow boots, but around Christmas this year we got 11". I had nothing to wear so I ordered this boot and it was perfect. Fit well, was warm, and has great tread. AND it came the next day. Thanks Zappos.

This is a great shoe for wet, muddy conditions. I love to walk in nature and, no matter what the weather is like, these shoes can take it. They do run a little big, but with thick socks the fit is fine. And, amazingly, they don't make my foot look big. The two zippers make them easy to put on, even while standing.

Wonderful!
Just got back from Chicago for Christmas and wore these boots nonstop through snow, ice, heavy rain and deep puddles. Walked miles and they were extremely comfortable for a new pair of boots. They looked reasonably dressy under black dress pants and my feet stayed dry and warm. They are very lightweight compared to the Sorels I bought at the same time. I have several pairs of summer Propets and they are also extremely comfortable.

Great Boot -
I love this boot. I was looking for an easy on/off boot that I could wear to work on snowy, slushy days. It was all that and more. I was pleasantly surprised that this boot is so nice. And the convenience of zippers and either side is very practical for getting it on easy. They were tight and stiff around the ankle but they loosened up with one or two wearings. I did notice that they will keep your feet dry but they are not a warm boot. I wouldn't wear them in the snow for an extended time period. But for what I wanted them for, they are perfect. And they look nice too. I've gotten lots of compliments from my family and co-workers. I nervously ordered the double wide width because I usually just wore wide but I decided I wanted extra room for thick socks and I am so glad I did. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I would recommend them to anyone!

Best boot I've ever owned -
These boots rock! While this boot is not the highest fashion, they are awesome in the warmth and comfort area! I have a size 6 WW foot and the double zippers and attached heel tab make putting them on so easy. They are a bit wider than marked but have excellent room in the toe. Add a heavy sock, and you are good to go!

Clunky, but they do the job -
I was looking for a winter shoe I could run around in that would keep my feet dry and warm, as well as be wide enough at the ball of the foot, but not so big at the back that they'd fall off. Tall order, but that's life. They are very easy to get on and off due to the zippers. They are just a little heavyish, clunky, but they answered all my concerns.

No breaking in needed - immediately comfortable! This is my second pair of Propet shoes and I love the comfort of the brand, if not always the style. These fit my WW feet and my cankles also! I figured out that you do not have to unzip both zippers, which increases ease of removal even more.

Correct boot for problem foot?
The boot is wide enough to accommodate the very wide foot and still have some degree of style. Height from sole to inside top of shoe is too limited to allow for hammer toe.
