This is a nice looking shoe that can be worn casually or in a business setting. It is fairly light weight which makes them very comfortable. I am not sure how well they will hold up over time.

This is a great looking shoe. It is comfortable and seems well made. The sizing is slightly larger than average. I bought a 45 which is normally slightly snug, but these are almost too big.

I purchased a pair of these shoes six years ago based on the recommendation of a co-worker. The size 44 fits me perfectly...between a US size 10 and 10 1/2 and width between D and E. As an airline pilot I need a work shoe that looks good with my uniform, provides good grip on oil-fuel-water (and sometimes ice) fouled tarmac surfaces, and provides good feel feedback on the rudder peddles. These shoes fit those requirements and more. They are actually lighter and more comfortable than my sneakers or any of my casual shoes. I've stopped carrying an additional pair of casual shoes for layovers on my trips. These are also my primary footwear for walking tours on vacation. Heck, I wear them nearly every day and nearly everywhere. And after six years these shoes are still quite serviceable and look good. These are great shoes.

I really like these shoes. They felt comfortable right away. They look nice and are well-made. Just a couple little quibbles. They're not available in Extra Wide, so I had to buy shoes a trifle longer than I would have wished. And the "running boards", or rim around the sole is a bit large. But overall, these are great shoes. I've always been happy with Ecco (and Zappos!).

I could not be happier - I work hard in my shoes, standing 10-15 hours a day. These shoes are sharp looking, extremely comfortable, and really hold up to the demands of a professional kitchen.

The shoe was exactly what I ordered, and it was as well-fitting and comfortable as I expected. (I already had the same shoe in black). The amazing thing was that I received the package less than 24 hours after I ordered on line.

I like Ecco shoes very much. I ordered the same size that I had been using in another Ecco shoe but in this shoe required the next size up which wasn't a problem with the return slip shipped with the first order. I can't figure out why when you to return your order there is an automatic send me a different size button but other than that I was very pleased with the product and service.
This shoe has good enough dress shoe looks and real comfort for walking airports etc.

I tried the shoes on at home, they felt a little snug but I thought I could break them in. And the web site indicated more room at the toes for wider fit.
Well after trying to break the shoes in for 1 week, it’s been nothing but a large amount of pain, seems I caused some extreme foot damage hoping my shoes would break in. I do a significant amount of walking, and instead of breaking in my shoe, I hurt my foot. And now I've worn my shoes outside, not sure if I can return them. And at $180, I feel I made a big mistake.

I love this shoe -
The shoe is very comfortable. This is my first try with Ecco shoes and I am very pleased. The shoes look great and feel great. I ordered one size larger than what was recommended based on other reviews and good advice. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who needs to be on their feet all day or who does a fair amount of walking. They were completely broken in after two days.

Feels like a slipper -
Ecco shoes are some of the most comfortable and stylish shoes I've ever tried. And these Austins were no different; great looking and extremely comfy. The cappuccino color was a very nice bonus because I really don't care for that brown/rust color, but needed something for my dark brown slacks.
These were my second pair of Eccos and I have no intention, or reason, to ever try another brand for dress shoes.
One last note: they, Ecco dress shoes, do seem run large. Both of my pairs were ½ to almost a full size too big. It wasn't a problem because after fitting some custom insoles, they were a perfect fit.

Classy, but less than a walking shoe.
We bought these so my husband would have walking shoes for business trips. They're super slick looking, but not so great for the walking. We ended up with Rockport’s instead.

I am a corporate trainer who travels a great deal for work. I am a professional man who is on his feet all day. From early morning, through my classes, and finally running through airports, this is the best Ecco dress shoe I've ever worn. Excellent shoe! I have always been very picky about the appearance of my shoes, but now that I am in 40s and working my rear end off, comfort has becoming of equal importance. I am very pleased with the look, the quality of the construction, and of course, the comfort. For years, I have worn To Boot shoes for looks, Cole Haan Air for looks and comfort, and Eccos for comfort at work. With these shoes, I can say with confidence that I now wear Ecco dress shoes for good looks. Keep in mind they are not high fashion, but you will look sharp, classy even, and of course be supremely comfortable. Last thing, I wear a 10.5 or 11. That translates to a 44 in these. But, I've worn 45s in Eccos as well. Order both sizes, try 'em on at home and send one pair back.

Good Shoe so far.
I bought this shoe to replace my old Ecco City Walker Plain toe.
Took me a while to get the right size. The old Ecco's were 41, but the Austin for some reason are 40 now for my feet. Otherwise, they are comfortable and allow me to work throughout the day.
