Poor design - bag specializes in tipping over -
AWKKKK! This bag looks great and sounds great on paper. Unfortunately, it fails, fails, fails in real life. The Dakine bags are front tilted and the soft, collapsible top (front) collapses when it is full (unless you put Fort Knox gold bricks - perfectly placed - in the lowest compartment). The bag tips over forward - every time you take your hand off it!!! If you turn and lean it face-forward against a wall - the wheels roll away from the wall and it falls splat!!! Do not buy this suitcase. Wait until Dakine perfects this design.

Wow... amazing!
This is my first order on Zappos.com and I had just ordered the bag online yesterday around 12pm est... And received the bag the very next morning, exactly 24 hours after placing the order. I have to say, the free next day shipping took me by surprise and will make me want to order from zappos.com on that feature alone.
As for the bag itself. It’s probably the best piece of luggage I’ve purchased, ever! Great organization, sturdy material, and definitely appealing to the eye. Can’t wait to use on my trip to so-cal in month.

Not used but practiced with it.
I have not gotten the chance to use this bag as of yet, but I have practiced loading it for a week long trip. It fits everything and still comes under 50lbs. with two pairs of sneakers.
This thing rocks, if you are an organized person you will love this bag, if you are an unorganized person you will love this bag. It has a place for everything.
Others have posted that it tips over, but as long as you pack heavy and wide on the bottom (or wheeled side) there are no tipping issues.

Excellent bag for sports travel -
We scuba dive and carry a lot of gear, so we look for bags that are durable, protective, easy to roll, and yet weigh as little as possible. This bag just returned from its first road test and passed with flying colors. The bag is padded for protecting gear, and though at first its many compartments seemed like overkill, they have the effect of keeping items from shifting and knocking into each other. The bag has a firm-enough structure to protect, but flexible enough to stuff. My only cavil is its tare weight of 10 pounds. That is less than most bags but about 2 or 3 pounds more than is ideal for the sports traveler with airline baggage restrictions. However, bags that weigh less have far less protection, so the weight is justified.

Great looking bag with LOTS of space!
This bag has been wonderful on our trips. I can pack all my things and still have space for when I pick things up on the trip. It also has a very appealing appearance. It’s a great bag for a great price!

Bought this bag for a trip to Utah (skiing) and Vegas (not skiing). It held everything for 10 days including ski equipment. Be careful you don't fill it (you will exceed 50lbs). Storage and organization is a great value for the price. Zappos had it to me in no time!

Don't pay for overweight luggage with the split roller -
This is a great bag in case you've packed a lot of stuff. My daughter and I put all our clothing for a week's trip in the split roller and then unzipped it into two parts to check it with the airline. We would have had to pay for overweight luggage otherwise. And it zips back together and rolls away once you've picked the two pieces up at the baggage carousel! What a great idea!

I LOVE this bag! It looks awesome and keeps everything very organized with all of the different mesh pockets! I would recommend this to anyone who likes to travel with a lot of stuff! Great bag!
