I bought these shoes; I must say I was a skeptic. But I am in the medical field, on my feet about 10 hours a day, great shoes. My only reserve is I wish you had them in brown. They took my orthodic without any problem.

Good for me -
I purchased these shoes and boots with a lot of hesitation. I live in NY, NY where we have to walk a lot on concrete and I suffer from fibromyalgia with significant pain in my feet. Since I am on disability I fear purchasing shoes that will hurt terribly and not have enough funds to try another pair of shoes that cause pain. I have wasted a lot of money on shoes that I have had to give away. I tried orthotics that were awful. I learned of Zappos and because there were reviews and a liberal exchange policy I took a chance. I read somewhere that Propet were shoes good for people with foot pain but I was skeptical. I tried a few pair of shoes and boots. Of course trying them at home is not the same as wearing them in the street for the day. Had some problem with the zipper on the boots which I ordered in 2 sizes to try, but ultimately decided to keep the ones that had working zippers. Have not worn the boots yet and hope they are comfortable enough. However I did wear the shoes a few times and although I wouldn’t say my feet did not hurt at all I will say these are probably the best shoes I have worn in a few years, and was able to walk more comfortably and am hopeful I can get around town with greater ease. When I can afford to do so, I will consider ordering additional shoes from your company at Zappos. information. I am going to see my osteopath tomorrow and will share this information with him as he has been trying to help me find acceptable footwear. Thank you for making shoes that allow me to go out in less pain.

Wrong size/fit - I think if I had ordered the correct size, this shoe might have been more comfortable. I've exchanged it for a different Propet style rather than the correct size because the shoes also made my feet sweat.

So grateful for this shoe!
Just ordered my second pair, although the first pair still looks great after a year and a half. I just don't want to have to live without these shoes! I have wide arthritic feet with all kinds of problems, yet these shoes feel terrific and allow me to walk everywhere. The fabric top is genuinely soft. They look okay with pants for business wear, and don't stand out like orthopedic shoes.

Ugly, but really comfortable -
The first time I wore these shoes was at Disneyworld, I never even broke them in. Since then, I take them everywhere that I expect foot pain. I wish they were "cute", but they are my most comfortable shoes.

Great walking shoe -
The PedWalker 2 is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I was worried about ordering footwear that I have not tried on since this is the first time I have done so. However, when it arrived and I tried it on, it fit perfectly so I can say that it runs exactly true to size. I walk 4 miles a day and my feet feel as if I'm walking on clouds.

These shoes are just what I was looking for... immediately comfortable, and they stayed that way all day. I have wide feet that tend to get tired, yet I spent a whole day in these and felt no discomfort while driving or standing.

A definite hit!
I was looking for a shoe for everyday at work or errands and this one turned out to be a great choice, it looks nice, and it's very comfortable, (it was comfortable right from the start which is so rare!). My feet don't hurt at the end of the day and that too means a lot after a very long day. I recommend them! My only surprise was that I thought the top was leather which it is not. But it still looks like a good shoe.

Shoe is comfortable if you do not care about style. Not very attractive, it reminds me of the orthopedic shoes my grandmother used to wear. I was going to send them back, but decided to keep them and wear them on casual shopping trips. Although the shoes were comfortable I wish I had sent them back before I wore them because of the looks.

I love these shoes!
This is my second pair of these shoes. I teach first grade and do a lot of walking during the day. These shoes are light weight yet provide enough support that my feet are still comfortable at the end of the day. They look nice enough for work too. My feet are duck shaped -- narrow at the heel but wide in the front. These shoes fit very well.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Just as others stated in their reviews - no break in time, you can wear this shoe right out of the box. I do have to say it is not an attractive shoe. My family thinks it looks like "a nun's shoe" all I need is the habit. However, you get to a point in your life when comfort rules over fashion. I think it looks fine with jeans ... better than a white tennis shoe. Overall, very satisfied.

I have had a few shoes that have worked for me but none that I liked better. I have very wide feet and lots of problems. This shoe allows me to wear my custom insert. I highly recommend this shoe.

A true miracle -
These are the only shoes I can were to a work environment...period. The stretch is a true miracle and being on my feet 12 hours a day 50-6 days a week... I am truly speechless. I am coming back 6 years later for my next pair, Do I need say more?

ARTHRITIS RELIEF -
I have osteoarthritis in both of my great toes. This shoe provides the greatest comfort when taking a step because of the soft top. It has allowed me to delay indefinitely, the surgery to fuse my toe joints.

Really perfect -
I needed a shoe to take me miles and miles of walking concrete in WA DC AND look good enough to visit Senators' ofices. The Propet PedWalker came through! Good fit true to size, looked good and wore like a deram. No foot pain whatsover after 5 days of 6-10 miles a day.

Here are the pluses: Easy to clean soles do not leave chunks of dirt on my clean floors. THANK GOODNESS! Soles do not slip on ice and snow. The shoes are flexible. They are so much less clunky looking than sneakers.
So it seems a little churlish to mention that they have a slightly oblique shape, and my feet don't. Also, in order to have them wide enough in the front, they are too wide at the back. The result is that my feet and legs are very tired after a day's wear as they don't seem to want to walk straight ahead.

THESE SHOES ARE WONDERFUL. I have Plantar Fasciitis and flat feet, which is why I wear thick custom orthotics. Going from wearing my comfortable size 2E New Balance tennis shoes while obtaining my graduate degree to having to wear dressier shoes now that I am back to work has been an extremely painful experience. As you know, feet change over the years and in the first three days of work I have had to get rid of three pairs of shoes I used to wear in relative comfort, and I have paid the price with very sore rubbing between toes, a blistered heel, and a corn. It’s almost impossible for me to find a pair of shoes that fit, are comfortable, and look halfway decent, but I found them! WOW – right out of the box. The fit is perfect (2E 7 1/2), they take my orthotics easily without removing their othotic liner, and are SOO comfortable. I was a bit weary of the boxy look and fabric instead of all leather, but they look pretty good because the distinction between the leather and fabric is not as pronounced as shown in the pictures and the fabric feels like a cushiony glove! Just wish they had more colors!!
BTW, I ONLY order from Zappos – they are the BEST!

A great looking walker!!
I like to be comfortable when I go shopping, but I also like to wear a shoe that looks like a shoe and not a "sneaker." The Pedwalker 2 has a dressy look to it. It's like wearing your bedroom slippers to Wal-mart. Love this shoe.

Post-sugery Shoes -
I just had foot surgery a month ago where bone was cut and removed from both feet. On the third week after surgery, I had to wear athletic shoes there were one size larger than what I normally wear. I bought these after reading other reviews on the width and depth of these that enabled my feet to heal properly. Everything about this shoe met my expectations in terms of comfort. The only thing that hurts every day is putting on the shoe because I can't bend my toes yet. The tongue on the shoes is short, so I have to force my feet in trying not to bend my toes, and it is painful. Other than that, wearing and walking (flatfooted) in the shoe is very comfortable with lots of support and cushion. Feet swell after surgery, so it also cleared that test. Buy two sizes just in case one doesn't fit right.

Happy feet!
I am a Sous Chef: on my feet nine to ten hours a day on hard tile floors. I am overweight, diabetic, & middle-aged...my feet have gone through some big hurting. These shoes have helped me a lot-plenty of room for my custom orthodics + an additional foam insert. The soft sides of the shoe are great for swelling and protruding bones. This shoe is worth the price, and Zappos service is to be commended. I am very satisfied.

I ordered this shoe for my dad, who is 91 and has hammertoes. For years, I looked for a shoe that would be comfortable for him. I don't know how many shoes I took back. They didn't fit. I received these shoes today and I took them over to my dad. He is totally thrilled with them. He said that he has never had a shoe that fits him so well. The tops of the shoe are so soft and he loves the depth of the shoe. I can't say enough good things about this shoe. Thank you for finally discovering a shoe for hammertoes. Also, I want to add, that the shipping was absolutely unreal. I ordered these shoes one day and Zappos wrote me an e-mail saying that they were sent the same day I ordered them. I received them 3 days later by UPS.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and this is the only pair of shoes that does not hurt my feet.
