A Great Slide -
I had been wary of trying a slide as I like every shoe I buy to be good for walking. I loved the look of this style and decided to give it a try (influenced by Zappos great return policy). My only reason for not ranking it a 5 Star in comfort is that it's not quite as padded as most of the shoes I might wear all day long. However, I only notice this when I take the Braid off to switch to bedroom slippers. This is a beautiful, comfortable slide, designed to fit very securely for walking. I love it.

I LOVE this shoe & receive lots of compliments whenever I wear them. Color is a true red and the heel is just right. I normally wear a wide, however, when I received the wide, it just fell off my feet! I returned the shoe and got a regular width and it fits perfect. Not as much arch support as I'd like, but it's okay.

I love Clark shoes. The "hugging" insole is wonderful. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have had numerous foot surgeries and have found that Clarks shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Because of the fused joints, some of my toes do not bend and Clarks are the only mules and slides that I can keep on my feet. The only thing that I wish Clarks (and Zappos) would do is to make and stock more shoes in size 5 and 5.5. It is almost to the point that I can't find these sizes anywhere. If I find a shoe in my size, I buy it, and hope I can find clothes to go with the shoes. Also more narrow sizes would be wonderful.

I'm sold on Clarks and Zappos -
I have been a fan of Clarks shoes for a few years, but these were bought on my first visit to Zappos. As with all Clarks shoes, these fit perfectly, true to size, and comfortable through- out the first day. I bought them in "Sand" color but I really like the same shoe in "Green" and will probably order them also. Zappos is a great way to shop and you can't go wrong with Clarks.

Beautiful shoes, but they are weirdly positioned… slightly against the grain of my feet, so that I am constantly grating against them. It’s like I want to take them off and snap them into a straight line. I really don't think that I can wear them, but I have had them out a couple of times, so do not feel that I can return them either. I am very disappointed, since I have had good luck with Clarks in the past.

Not what I expected - These look great, but are not nearly as comfortable as my other Clarks sandals. I have flat feet and the stitching where the strap attaches to the sole cuts into my instep. Also, these seem a bit shorter and narrower than my other Clarks. The upper is lined with smooth leather, not Nappa like the footbed so they stick and rub in hot weather. I won't buy this style again. Too bad – I like the look and the color selection is great.

Great sandal! Clarks Braid seems more truly narrow than some other Clarks narrow sandals I have tried recently, which was great for me! They were uncomfortable where the leather wraps around by the arch when I first put them on. I kept them because they were narrower, and the longer I tested them out the better they felt. I wore them the first time while traveling and did lots of walking in airports. They were comfortable! I'm glad I took a chance and kept them! As always, Zappos service was amazing.

Great for my weird, messed up feet. I have a long, narrow foot with a high instep and very high arch, and have had bunion surgery on one side. These poor, worn out babies need a lot of support, and because I am heavy, some shock absorption. I bought Braid in green and navy and I'm really happy with them. They seem true to my size of 11N. The scooped out heel bed is cozy and, although there isn't much of an arch built into the shoe, the thick strap tucks in there nicely and fills some of that function. I often have trouble with sandals not staying snug enough, but these are a perfect fit. I think Clarks may be my new shoe of choice.

Love this shoe - Braid -
Most Clarks shoes fit me nicely. The Braid is a very good fit for a person like me with long feet (11m.) and elderly (80 yrs.). I don't walk out of this one like another style that I've had. I love slip-ons as I don't have to bend over to tie or untie laces. I have about 10 pr. of Clarks' - for all seasons.
This newest pair arrived in less than 24 hours!

I have a difficult time with shoes fitting because 10 1/2 is hard to come by. Ordering these in a 10 wide worked perfect. More importantly, ordering through Zappos.com makes it so easy to find shoes that work...Thanks!

I love this shoe except it did not come in my size, which is usually 8 1/2. It only came in whole sizes. I will have to exchange it for another style. I strongly recommend Zappos to carry shoes that come in half sizes!!!

Like the shoes. Very comfortable, but I had to order a wide when I normally order a medium and now they've stretched a little and are actually a little too wide.

Not the quality I expected from Clarks -
The appearance of the leather was so shiny that the shoe looks like vinyl. The sandal was a little wide for a "narrow". I had to add an orthotic arch support to keep them on and make them comfortable.

Great everyday sandal -
I bought this in the tan, and it's great for everything summer--and makes my legs look a little longer. This sandal feels a bit flatter than it looks in the picture but is very comfortable. Width is generous.

Love the style of shoe. The only problem was on the inner arch area of the shoe, there was a knot from the threading that rubbed a blister on my foot. I did not find it rubbing until I had worn them outside, so I could not return them. I had to put a large patch of moleskin over that area. Other than that, I love the shoe.
