Great uniform shoe!!! Per someone else's review I got these for my son's school uniform and let me say the are PERFECT for recess. Something I never thought about when looking for a uniform shoe. They are easy for him to get on and off and the sole is chunky and just great for play. Ordered 1/2 size bigger to accommodate thick school socks.

Great School Shoes -
These are great shoes for my 9 year old son to wear to school. They meet the requirement for the school uniform and yet they are comfortable enough for all day wear. And most importantly, he can run in them at recess!

More casual dress shoe -
We ordered a few pair of dress shoes for my son to try. He liked these for the comfort, but the lug sole and velcro strap were a more casual look than I wanted. They would have been fine if we had not found something in the same price range that looked a bit snappier.

My son has a wide width...so there aren't many shoes he finds comfortable...this one was such an easy fit!
