ZIPPER BROKE FIRST TIME WE TRIED IT ON!
Love the look. Lots of folks complained about the zipper... ours broke off the very first time I tried it on my 3 year old.

Great boots!
My 5 year-old loves these boots and is getting his friends to order them too! They are made well and look good.

The best boot -
This is a relatively inexpensive boot, and it is virtually indestructible. My 5-year-old very active boy loves them. They have been through numerous sledding expeditions and they hold up really well in New England weather. I highly recommend this boot and Keen brand name in general. Buy one size bigger though because they do run small.

Kids Keen Boots -
This boot is absolutely darling. Not your typical clunky kids boot. I love Keen shoes. They are especially great for kids with wide feet. The only negatives would be the zipper is a bit hard to zip & my son had some trouble initially walking in them. But I think that is true with most snow boots.

Good overall, zippers a problem -
Great kid’s boots. Waterproof and easy to put on except the zippers are really hard to pull up and my son's can do them himself. They are busied a bit deeply behind the waterproof flap that covers them and when pulled to the top with effort the zipper pulls themselves sometimes twist over to the side. I worry about the long term stability of the zippers but for now they are holding up.

Wow!
This boot is terrific. If I could see into the future and know what size my child will need 3, 6, 9, 12 months from now, I would buy ahead to know I have enough to last and last his growing feet.

Best boots out there -
My 2 1/2 year old son loved these and wore them even when they got too tight, thank goodness it has starting to get warm and I can put them away. Order a full size bigger, cause I think they do run small. On the coldest mornings, his feet always felt toasty. He can even put them on himself. Loved these and will buy these again next year.

Nice boots, easy on and off -
I bought these for my 3 yr old son and he loves them. He can slip them off and on very easily and they are true to size. My only complaint is that the zipper pull gets twisted easily and makes it difficult to zip and unzip sometimes. I would recommend these boots.

Best Boots ever -
We bought the Keen Dakota boots for our 4 and our 2 year old sons. The boots are stylish and easy for the kids to put on. They are built to last and take the punishment that kids dish out. Our 4 year old started with Keen Newport sandals last year and they have lasted way more than I ever would have expected. We've been very happy with the Keen kids shoes so my wife and I now own several pairs ourselves.

Pleased parent -
A very handsome, well constructed boot that can also be worn as shoes--my three year old twins were both quite pleased (a relief as they are not the most inexpensive boot). One does need to help smaller children put them on as they are a little tight through the ankle area, but perhaps that issue will remedy itself with wear. Also, they seemed to run a bit small--perhaps 1/2 a size.

We like them a lot, very satisfied -
We (my two sons) were very excited when their new boots arrived. The size 12 fit perfectly but I ordered a size 8 for my 2 yr old who wears that in other shoes. They ended up being too small. We sent them back and ordered a 10, they work but I think a 9 would have been better. I don't know but I think the smaller sizes run a little small. Measured against his other shoes they were quite a bit smaller. However the 12 was right on. We love the look the warmth the traction and ease of putting them on. They are the only shoes the boys will wear this winter. The fleece is soo soft inside and keeps little feet nice and warm. We did have a chance to try anther pair of Keen’s on the 2 yr old and it was the same thing, too small also. So I would just warn against them running a little small. We spent x-mas in Utah and they were great, like I am sure all Keen's are, for climbing around on all the rock.
