The best cushioned trail shoe!!
I run mountain marathons and needed a highly cushioned trail runner due to foot and joint troubles. After trying about a dozen of the top '08 trail runners from all the major manufactures, the Saucony Omni 5TR W was my TOP choice. FANTASTIC cushioning, fit (no blisters on first 25 mile run + wide toe box), and light weight. I did have to shave down the arch support on my custom orthotic a bit, but I'm happy to do that for the perfect shoe! If you prefer a low-profile heel, this isn't the shoe for you. But I'm done with low-profile heels -- not enough shock absorption. HINT, If you like high cushioning, you might also like the Adidas Women's Adistar Trail 3. Saucony, if you're listening, how about making a Gore-Tex option?

Great running shoe, not so pretty -
I was "prescribed" this shoe by my doctor and it's a terrific running shoe! Great motion control, my orthotics fit perfectly. I suppose I shouldn't care what they look like but I think the blue and gray are fine, the green and gray are ugly (I have both).

Love this shoe -
I work in a state park in Maine. I'm on my feet all day, performing various outdoor tasks, and I hike a lot. These shoes were incredibly comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I have purchased Saucony running shoes in the past, and I will definitely do so again.

I am back with Saucony -
Found this shoe after a lot of trial and error and two separate shipments from Zappos. My size is 10 ½ and most local stores do not carry the size or at least any real selection. So I ordered 8 pair in different brands. I was looking for a shoe to power walk in along with wearing them in a favorite cardio and weights class. I put this pair on first and knew they were the right ones I tried the rest and went back to this pair. Not sure why I ever left Saucony but I am back and HAPPY so happy I did a 5k the same week they arrived.

Nice shoe -
I have trouble finding the right fit--wide feet and front and narrow heel--and these fit great. They are very comfortable, except they are a little hot. The looks are not great, but not bad either. I would recommend them if you have to be on your feet a lot. The tread is great for trails.

Best I have found yet -
I have been a personal trainer and aerobics instructor for years. Never found a shoe that lasted as long and held up as well as the Grid Onmi 5. I've tried a lot of brands but finally found this one that fits like a glove!

I purchased these looking for a road/trail hybrid running shoe with a wider toe box. I order a 10 versus my usual 9.5 because of reviews, but found that the 10s were slightly too big and that the design of the shoe made my foot look very long. However, the toe box was adequately wide. Also, even though I am a fan of supportive shoes, I found the heel cushioning to be overkill and quite chunky. I will be sending these back.

Great all-round shoe!
This is a very comfortable, yet rugged shoe. Great for walking long distances, even off road. Though the sneaker looks bulky, it provides good support and the colors are fairly neutral. I walk all the time, and they still look good after 6 months. This is my 4th pair in two years. Order a full-size larger for best comfort.

Great shoe. I've used it for an adventure race and for daily road runs. I've been running in the Omni's or Asics 2000 series for the last few years and this does not disappoint.

This shoe has one problem, the chemical smell is loud and I have to keep my shoes in the garage when I take them off. I have had other Saucony’s and they are the same. The left shoe squeaks like a shoe with a flat. The heel is too snug. I loved the old Saucony Hurricane 5. Not these.

These are great sneakers especially for a walker. Good support, sturdy, rugged sole, overall comfort and neutral appearance.

I recently wore this shoe while on vacation in Las Vegas. It was comfortable from day one and my feet were cooler than they are in all leather shoes. I did some light mountain hiking and the sole provided the extra stability I needed on the stony paths.

Comfort and Support -
I have a bad knee, so my physical therapist had me go to a marathon running shoes store to get their advice on what sneakers will give me the best support. After trying on and walking in a variety, we settled on the Saucony Grid Omni -- excellent support, very comfortable and balanced for my feet. I've been wearing them ever since. Shoe is designed to hug your foot (tongue is secured on either side). I was able to wear them from day #1 with no real breaking-in required. Wear these to work out in at the gym.

It is hard to pick up a good shoe online. This shoe was for me. I have been enjoying them ever since I got them. Good support- keeps me from pronating.

This shoe is very comfortable and seems true to size; however, the longer distances that I run in them they become less comfortable to the soles of my feet. They will be best to change out day to day if running daily. Very attractive shoe.

Feet Relief!
These shoes are a wonderful surprise. I had always thought New Balance was great, but these give much more support, cushion and overall comfort.
Owning a campground and being on a variety of surfaces, I was finding a need for different shoes for different things. But these have solved that problem. And, if my feet are happy, my being is happy.
There was not really a break in period and legs, back, and veins were all happy at the end of the day
I only wish they cam in a wider variety of colors.
I also find crocs professional work really well...but this particular model of Saucony is better for walking.
Finding shoes for large feet has always been a sore point in my life...but Zappos has solved that problem. Thank you Zappos!

Awesome Shoe!
I have very hard to fit feet with a wide toe box, low arch, and a small heel. I was looking for a shoe that would not only fit (of course), but that would provide enough support and traction to walk/run on sand. These shoes are perfect. They don't squeeze my forefoot, as most shoes do, and they almost GRIP my heel. They support my foot well and my heel does not slip out as I walk. There was no break in period--they were comfortable from the moment I put them on--even through a 60 minute run on pavement & grass! I would recommend these shoes to anybody looking for an excellent pair of all-terrain running shoes.

Walking on clouds -
I have been having some lower back pain and as soon as I put these on, I felt the cushioning effect. They really seem to take the pressure off - I walk all over New York City so the sidewalk gets pretty hard on your feet. These seem to be cushioning quite well under those conditions. My friends who are runners love Saucony but now I would recommend these to die hard walkers too!

Nice Shoe -
This is the second pair of Saucony shoes I have owned and I really like them. This shoe is great for indoor exercise as well as hiking, which is what I was hoping to find. The color is subdued so they don't scream "bright".
