Great mule!
I just got these for my birthday and have never spent this much money on a shoe before. They do have a very long pointed toe so I wouldn't recommend them if you have big feet and they do take some practice to walk in because of the length...but they are comfortable and beautiful!

I am a Texas woman, living in "cowboy country" in Abilene, Texas. I just finished a 3,000 mile go and come back trip to Florida. I owned two pairs of these shoes...the brown gator and the pewter. They got me there and back in style...and most of all comfort!!! All along the way, people commented on my lovely shoes. I felt well-dressed and "classy" (if informal). I promised myself when I got back I would order another pair…so I just did!!! Comfort and style are everything and Donald Pliner provides that...I am a Pliner fan forever!!!!

Guess I'm the oddball here.
I was expecting a perfect fit based on the reviews, but the extended pointed toe is so long that I literally can't walk in these. Maybe I'm not cut out to be a cowgirl... or perhaps I should go down a half size? My guess is a smaller size would be too snug.
Oh well... They are really cool looking, though.

Happy Birthday to ME!
I absolutely love these shoes. As was stated in the previews that I read before purchasing them. The shoe sizing is true to fit, they make you feel as if you had your own personal cobbler, just like the Royal Family does, making them just for me. The coloring in the shoe makes them very versatile and they can be worn with a wide variety of colors. I personally do not normally care for a mule style shoe, but I adore these. I love the fact that I can just leave them by the door and quickly slip into them while expediting my race to leave the house. It's a great plus to be able to slip out of them under your desk too! My sincere kudos, to Donald J. Pliner's Juta. I hope they continue this style line for a long time. I can't tell you how long I've been looking for a beautiful pointed shoe.

AMAZING service; gorgeous shoe -
I ordered these shoes Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and received them so quickly. Zappos had e-mailed me that at no cost to me they had rushed my shipping. Unbelievable. And the shoes are stunning. They cost much more than I usually spend on shoes, but after looking at many, many stores (including three department stores) to find an attractive shoe with a heel to wear with jeans, I had come up empty. I am not a pointy-heel-all the-time kind of gal and these are the perfect combo of height and comfort. I have a very high instep and was worried they wouldn't fit, but they are fine. (Maybe to compensate I could have ordered a half size larger, but I think they will be OK after I have worn them a bit.) I know I have found my new place for shoes....and will tell all my friends.

I love these shoes and I love Zappos!
I've gotta say--these are the most beautiful shoes, ever. I was lucky enough to get the last narrow in my size, and you slim-footed girls know just how hard those are to find. They fit like they were custom made and I am so pleased with both the shoes and the accommodating and helpful customer service reps that I would buy this shoe in every color if my size was still available. I've ordered many other pairs of shoes and boots from Zappos and every transaction was a genuine pleasure. Oh, did I mention that I ordered them on a Saturday night and they got to me on Monday morning? Awesome!

Donald Pliner is one of my favorite designers for fit and style. This shoe was not a disappointment. I have a narrow foot and the shoe fit perfectly with a great arch support. I was comfortable from the first day I wore the shoe. This was my first western style shoe. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Pretty shoes -
I really like these shoes, I think they look great with jeans and the first time I wore them I was at the grocery store and someone in the check out lane with me commented on how much they liked my shoes. I only gave them 3 stars for comfort because they do feel tight over my instep but perhaps they will stretch a little. Overall, I really like them. They are a huge departure from what I usually wear.

Killer looking western mules -
Received today my second pair of Juta western mules. First pair in the tomato & tan oilskin, second pair in the camel gator/espresso baby calf. Absolutely love these mules. Both pairs are beautiful & killer looking with jeans. Donald J Pliner designs the best looking shoes.

The COOLEST -
This boot is soo beautiful. It is just fabulous. The colors are wonderful and it is just a very stylish shoe/boot!! It is pretty comfortable as well. Pliner is known for his stylish, yet still comfy shoes. My favorite brand, bar none!!

Love the look -
I just received these mules, and they look exactly as they did on line. They're beautiful; these are my second pair of Donald Pliner mules. They are comfortable, even with my wide foot. I'm very happy. And Zappos is so wonderful to work with.

One of the greatest shoes -
I have several pairs of last year's version of this shoe. I literally wear one of them every day, because the look is great. They are fairly comfortable and easy to get on and off. Overall, just one of the greatest shoes I've had. I hope that Donald Pliner keeps making this great style.
