These do shrink -
I forgot to mention in my review that these do shrink even when dried on the lowest setting. If I'd known that, I'd have kept the size 13 socks and returned the size 11 - which are pretty tight on me. I had asked another company if they shrank and was told no, so this is important information. Yes, they do shrink a bit!

Good, but hard to size for women's large foot -
I wear a size 8.5 in dress shoes, 10 in New Balance running shoes with this thick a sock. I find Thorlos padding very comfortable, but this sock is tight in size M, way too big in size L. For any woman with similar size feet, I recommend Thorlos socks specifically for women; size L fits really well.

Great socks -
For many years Thorlos brand socks have been the only ones I will wear. Despite the high cost they last forever. They wick away moisture, are very comfortable, and I NEVER have blisters or even calluses because of these socks. I pull my shoes off, turn the socks inside out, and show everybody what they are like, of course, they laugh, but if they try them, they are sold too.

The best -
These are the best socks I've used for running in 6 years!! The extra cushioning is worth a million, plus, no chafing or blisters with these babies. Easy wash and wear.

The Best-
I have worn these socks for years. The most comfortable socks a person could own. The price is more than others, but they last and have no equal. If you are serious walker or runner or just have to walk on cement like me at work, you will love these socks. I actually think it helps my lower back problem when I wear them at work.

Thorlos's Running Socks -
Thorlos's sock are absolutely the best. Once you wear these you will never want to wear another kind again. They are well cushioned, comfortable and your feet stay nice and dry in the hottest conditions. Thank You Zappos for selling a wonderful product and providing excellent customer service.

Absolutely Amazing Fit and Comfort!
I purchased three pairs of Thorlos in Austria and was afraid that they weren't available in the United States. It's great that you can order them from Zappos.com because you will never, EVER wear other crappy socks again! NEVER! I've had the three original Thorlos socks for over three years now, worn them mercilessly, washed them hundreds of times and they're as form-fitting and protective and (most important) comfortable as the first day that I pulled them on. Like a second skin -really! You just gotta try them out. Buy one pair and see if you're hooked for life like I am. Enjoy!
