I first tried these Thorlos Coolmax socks on a trip to Tanzania. We had lots of walking planned and plenty of hot weather expected. The socks performed beautifully, not a single blister, no scrunching, bunching or falling down, best of all no "eau de sweaty feet" when back in camp at night. That was over three years ago. I now wear these socks exclusively for everyday work and casual use. They seem to be indestructible. I would highly recommend them. Zappo\'s is a great bunch folks as well.

These have been my husband\'s favorite socks for years. We just stocked back up; after many faithful years of service, the last bunch finally gave up the toe...Rotating daily, 8 pairs lasted about 6 years, even though he puts them through the drier (which I don\'t do with my Thorlos)! \r\n\r\nThere is no comparison between other brands and the comfort of Thorlo Coolmax.

Socks are great. A bit warmer than the name "light" might indicate. Otherwise, excellent.

Good sock albeit expensive -
These are good socks. They are comfortable and provide extra cushion in the heel and the ball of foot. They did fuzz after the first wash so I'm a little concerned about their durability but so far so good.

I bought these socks for my daughter, too big. My husband tried them on and decided they would be his. He loves them and has mentioned that many times. He is throwing away all his other socks. They do seem a bit on the large size though.

Thorlos' SOCKS.
I have to say, I bought these based on the reviews and unfortunately, I don't see the rave everyone talks about. They are comfortable, but you can get the same type of socks for a lot less money! We'll see how they hold up.

Thorlo Coolmax Light Hiker -
I've been wearing nothing but Thorlo Coolmax Light Hikers for years. They're comfortable for everyday wear and for day hiking. They are durable, fit well, and are padded in the right places. They keep me warm in the winter but not excessively hot in the summer (not at all sweaty). They have just the right amount of stretch to keep them fitting well all day long, without bunching. Repeated washings/dryings do not impact their performance. The cost may seem high but they really are worth the money.

Got them for my boyfriend. He practically sleeps in them.
As soon as he put them on, he mentioned what a difference between great socks and just socks.. I got rid of all of his old socks.. :)

LOVE THESE -
I reach for these again and again. At first I thought too expensive for a pair of socks but they have lasted a long time and I wear then without shoes at home because they are so comfortable and they don't wear easily.

 |  | I want to personally thank all of you for sending my shoes standard overnight, even though I opted for UPS ground shipping. I only had one pair of black oxfords and they became unglued after doing some yard work. I have black jeans and clothes to wear them with, and needed these shoes very badly. My sister was dismissed from her job two months ago and I have been paying all of the house bills and mortgage by myself, and did not have the extra money for an overnight shipment, so thank you for going 50 extra miles and doing that for me.
