The only shoe she'll wear -
My daughter has sensitive feet and always complains of sock "bumps" and anything that tugs or rubs the wrong way. This has been the only shoe she'll wear for several years! I dread the day when she outgrows this style!

I ordered the Jillian shoe for my daughter to wear with her uniform to school. It's been a comfortable, easy to wear shoe. However after her first wearing, some of the stitching on the leather in the front seams of the left shoe broke. I had to use a shoe glue to repair the seam. I was disappointed especially after paying for these shoes. She still wears them and it's not really noticeable.

Great for all but my oldest (youth 5EW)
This is great school shoe. All my girls have worn this shoe. Oldest still fits in the 5EW, but her foot shape has started to change to a woman’s. She is now in an extra-wide Fitzwell Renee MJ also sold here at Zappos. We love that it fits both narrow and wide feet in our family. Wears well and lasts.

My daughter has extra wide feet that are hard to find shoes for. These shoes fit great and are good for dress or casual. Easy to put on and comfortable.

This shoe is soft and has a non-slippery sole. It is of the same high quality that I expect from Stride Rite.

Fabulous in every way!
It is so hard to find wide shoes for children unless you shop at Zappos! The shoes arrived lickety split (a good thing since her regular school shoes had started to disintegrate)! The quality, selection, service, and return policy are all excellent. Save yourself the endless hours walking around the mall looking for the right shoes in the right size - Shop Zappos!

My daughter has tried about a dozen of different MJ’s and these are the only ones she felt comfortable with (in extra wide width). Doesn't look bad either. Good leather quality.

Still doesn't fit my daughter's feet!
My daughter has extremely wide feet (with a seemingly narrow heel) and I must admit, very picky! She had worn a size smaller in these shoes for 6 months and they worked just fine. However, when we ordered a larger size, she got blisters on her heel. They just don't seem to hit at the right location for her, but that might very well be just on her. Overall, Stride Right has always been our go to brand for extra wide shoes, but she has now officially reached their largest size. (Eek!)

Ordering from Zappos was great! The shoes came the next day and were perfect. I knew what shoe I wanted, but the Stride Rite store didn't have my daughter’s size and didn't follow up with service to help order them so I checked on Zappos...and they had just what I needed. Thank you for making it so easy!

Extra Wide is definitely not -
My 6 year old daughter has very wide feet. We ordered 12 1/2 XW. As soon as I took them out of the package I could tell they were not wide at all, and certainly could not be called Extra Wide. It seemed they added the extra width in the ankle where it's not needed. I naturally wide foot does not need the extra width in the ankle area, but in the toe area and ball of foot. Stride Rite once again fails in the wide sizes. For narrow feet, these would work well. But there is no arch support. We are keeping the RSVP Alegria style, which is more comfortable for her. For wide feet, try Kids Express, Bear Feet (made in Texas!), New Balance, Saucony, and some of the European brands. I love Zappos' return policy, so that I don't have to drag my daughter all around town to search for a good fit.

Outstanding!
Worn to school every day for the past six months by our sporty, active daughter and yippeee...she simply loves them!! Great fit for a narrow ankle and slim foot, very comfortable and robust and easy to polish. The velcro strap and sole are still going strong-what more can we say other than that we'll be buying the same again and having it shipped to the UK where we now live.

Narrow shoes for children -
Your site is the only one that I can find shoes for my daughter. She needs a narrow shoes which are very hard to find. The product is always delivered promptly. I will continue to use your site and products.

Narrow Shoes -
I brought these shoes for my granddaughter, she was very happy. I'm excited to see a shoe company selling narrow shoes for young children. I hope you will continue selling narrow shoes.

It's hard to find a narrow shoe that a fashion conscious, yet, hard playing young lady and her mother agree on. These were it. Fit great, wear great.

Why is fit different?
Took Grand child to a Stride Rites store to be measured and to purchase shoes. Not much to choose from because of extra wide size. She did not like anything offered. Decided to order from Zappos.com because of larger selection. Ordered size we were told she was, but the fit was tight and were too small! Now I must return them and wonder why size was different and did not fit.

Kid shoe -
As an adult who buys kid’s shoes I thought that this one would pass enough as an adult shoe. The shoe is comfortable and I am on my feet all day, but the shoe looks very little kid like. Even though I ordered the narrow width it is still a little wide on my feet and it has less of an arch support than I prefer.

Most excellent shoe! When they arrived I had my daughter try them on and it was apparent that the fit was perfect from that second. She was showing me how fast she can run, how she can dance, etc... (She's 6). Hurray for this wonderful shoe! I love the leather and the styling and the velcro closure. I like the sportyness as well as the dressiness... this is one great all around shoe!

A great basic -
I bought these for my daughter who is six years old. I like them because they are one of the few dress shoes for girls that does not have a heel, which I feel is dangerous for an active kid like her. They are a nice quality shoe.

Great narrow shoe -
Our daughter has a very narrow foot and it is very difficult to find shoes that fit her. This shoe in a narrow fits well and can coordinate with casual clothing as well as be somewhat dressy.

I always buy Stride Rite for my children. It is very important that they have great shoes and these are up to Stride Rite standards. They fit my daughter perfectly and she has a very narrow foot. We don't have a lot of options but stride rite carries narrow.

Great for Catholic school!
My daughter has to have black Maryjanes for Catholic school, and these are great. I love that they come in narrow width and the hook and loop strap makes them very adjustable.

Great Narrow shoe -
Finding shoes in narrow width is getting harder as my child grows older. Stride Rite consistently offers at least one style to fit, I am grateful. These shoes fit very well.
