Different - and better....
Yes, they are "snug" - but not tight. They wick moisture and regulate temperature extremely well. They are more durable than they look. They are light and have very little padding, so they are great for migrating from summer and bare feet to wearing socks. Denim color is a great match for jeans. Highly recommend.

Ugly, thin, and tight -
First: these run a bit small. Second: they are very thin and offer no cushioning whatsoever… that could be a plus or a minus depending upon your personal preference, but was a negative for me as I like thicker socks. Third: they are short, just covering the ankle. Fourth: they are ugly. They look like something one of the guys in Revenge of the Nerds would have worn with Birkenstocks. They may wick away moisture (the reason I bought them), but it's winter so I can't speak to that. I'm going to give them to my wife.

I bought a pair of these over a year ago and they have become my favorite socks. They keep my feet warm and dry and look great. I've had many friends sing the praises of Smartwool but I'd choose these first any day. They haven't worn out at all, no pilling or thinning. My only complaint is that they don't come in knee length.

But today I got a box in the mail from you WITH MY KEYS IN IT!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You don't know how much this means to me!!! I think most places would have just tossed them out!!!
