I'm thrilled -
I recently went through a period of having difficulty standing and walking (my ankle would cave to the right). I ordered these shoes in desperation because of New Balance's reputation - and more specifically, the roll bar that addressed exactly my problem. I ordered them on Saturday morning, received them by Monday afternoon when I needed them for an active job with young children - and have worn them, daily ever since - without any "break in" period necessary at all. I am not thrilled with the looks - but they are what they are - I can walk comfortably and stably. I highly recommend these.

Great Stabilization - I work for FedEx and stand on my feet all day. These shoes are GREAT! I wear my shoes on the outside but these shoes keep my feet stabilized straight. They help my lower back and my knees from hurting. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who works on their feet all day!

This is my all time FAVORITE Brighton sandal! It is so chic. It looks great with pants, skirts, capri's and jeans -- with EVERYTHING! It is very comfortable and I can wear it all day long without my feet hurting. The wedge heel is easy to walk on and the sandal is very well made!

I think this model and brand fits my feet perfectly. I already had a white pair of this shoe and I ordered the gray and the black-when you find a pair that fit so well, it is nice to have the shoe in different colors.

This is a great stable shoe for anyone with foot problems like arthritis. My doctor recommended them for stability and protection. They are not the prettiest shoe, but they work well on a 12 hour shift.

I now own both the leather (white and black), and gray suede versions of this shoe. I was surprised to find that the suede was softer and more comfortable right from the moment I put them on (no break-in time). The white is the perfect shoe for nurses on their feet for 8-12 hours. They are a tad clunky looking, but I'll take that for their comfort level.

It is all leather except the sole. It is a very sturdy feeling shoe. It works fine with an orthotic. The shoe being all leather is a heavy shoe. My feet do not hurt after walking 2 miles in them. I wish they made them in the 4 As or 3 As.

Extremely Comfortable! I have worn New Balance shoes for a long time, but the 926 is the most comfortable style ever! I developed plantar fasciitis after my last trip to Europe because I did not wear my New Balance shoes. It took the 926 to get the condition under control. As always Zappos service is the best!

I was close to quitting as a volunteer in police service when I decided to just TRY the clunky-looking, black version of the NB support, athletic shoes. They look 100% better than I expected and have room for my orthotics. Now I can continue my volunteer service in comfort. I wear a size 11B and have severe pronation problems so it's impossible to find and try out shoes from a shoe store. This is definitely the best sneaker I have ever owned. I have problems with my feet and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. These sneakers felt great right out of the box and still do. My favorite shoe -
This is my 4th or 5th pair of New Balance shoes. They have a nice fit for my wide foot and high instep. I am overweight and need a good shoe. New Balance is well constructed and comfortable. I like to get the white, but will be trying another color the next time. I keep my old ones for working on the farm. My new ones are kept for "good". They never wear out!

First pair of shoes that fit me just right with the UCBL -
The 926D shoes were comfortably wide and long enough to accommodate my UCBL orthotic. Did not need to take a bigger size for the length. First pair of shoes I did not have to return in 8 months. I am grateful for these shoes...

I broke a foot and needed a shoe to wear after the cast. This shoe provides support and is comfortable. I'll keep wearing it while volunteering in a job that requires black shoes and a lot of standing. I can't honestly rate the sizing as I am wearing an elastic wrap on one foot. It seems roomy. It's from an SL-2 last.

Do you have plantar fasciitis?
These may not turn any heads as you stroll along, but you will be able to stroll in less pain! I have a wide foot and use a custom orthodic. The foot bed of the shoe comes out and my orthodic fit perfectly. If you are just learning about care for a plantar fasciitis condition, this shoe has a great toe box (design in the front) and the roll bar helps to keep the heel stable. I tried them on at a retailer first and the sizing was true to fit for me. Take care of your feet! Be blessed!

It was suggested to me to buy this shoe to wear with an orthotic. The shoe is comfortable without the orthotic, but not with… it feels too small.

Great Shoes! Even if I'm only using one for now!
I broke my right leg, and when I was fitted with my "boot" after surgery, I needed a shoe that had a high enough sole so that my hip wouldn't hurt when I walked. The New Balance WW926 is great! It provides plenty of support, handles my orthotic well, and was comfortable within two days of wearing it. Pretty soon I'll be breaking in the other shoe, but I don't think it will be a problem at all. I love New Balance and will buy again and again.

I just purchased my 2nd pair of these. True, they aren't the most attractive athletic shoe, but the comfort and durability outweigh that. I wear them every day since I am on my feet constantly. My first pair is still in good condition even though I wore them daily for more than a year. I would highly recommend them to anybody. New Balance has never let me down.

Practical but my size.
Because I have health issues and problems with my feet, it is necessary for me to buy supportive shoes that are not usually fashionable. My shoe size is 5 1/2 double wide and impossible to buy anywhere. I have been buying shoes that were not my size and being uncomfortable as my size has not been available to me. I recently have found Zappos.com and was surprised to see 5 1/2 double wides listed. I figured when I tried to order I would be told that size was not available. That did not happen. Then my shipping was ungraded at no extra cost to me which I thought was very nice of Zappos to do.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn -
I have a lot of trouble with my feet--high arches, wide width, painful ball of the foot and frequent plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. I ordered several pairs of shoes for a trip to Europe, and these were the ones I decided on because they were so comfortable from the moment I put them on.
I always take several pairs of walking shoes on a trip so I can change out as my feet start to hurt, but my feet did not hurt at all in these, and I only changed shoes if I needed something dressier.
I have worn New Balance 843 for years, but it was not available in black. I'm really glad, because this shoe is even more comfortable than the 843. I had a great trip thanks to New Balance and Zappos.
