Great looking sandal, even better comfort. I can wear these shoes all day long from going to the weekend soccer and football games with the kids to working around the house. My feet feel great at the end of the day, where they were always tired wearing some lesser sandals that did not provide as much support and comfort as the Allrounders by Mephisto.

This is my second pair, purchased immediately after the first completed their well-deserved disintegration. The first pair was worn virtually constantly from May through October, including two weeks of hiking and traveling in Scotland two years ago. They are rugged beyond belief and extremely comfortable. N.B., the size designation is different from other shoes - I normally wear an 11 (US), but the 44/10 is the correct one for me in this sandal.

I have had foot problems for the last two years, these sandals are the most comfortable shoes I have found in years. I can wear them all day, before I changed shoes 3 to 4 times a day. I will certinly order more. Brian Adamson

These shoes are great for walking as long as it is not for more than a few hundred yards. Pretty soon you may notice an slight discomfort in your big toe, which will turn to intense pain after about a mile. This is caused by the sandal's strange contour, which includes an elevation, more like a bulge, around the toes. I have never worn a shoe like this. I thought maybe this was something special and would be comfortable. Not at all. If you are not in too much pain, you may hear a suction sound coming from one of the sandals. Yes, that's right. An air pocket forms beneath the arch of my right foot and causes a sound I have never heard from footwear before. It is truly an amazing thing and the people around me were laughing, they thought I was doing it on purpose. The problem is I cannot make it stop doing that. There is also the problem of the idiotic design. You cannot really tighten these shoes, there is hardly any possibility for adjustment the way they are sized. I bought the right size, but I cannot tighten them more than a centimeter without running out of Velcro or altering the padding around the ankle. They are extremely hard to detach. You have to press the plastic clip really hard and sometimes I have had to try several times, lying on my back even, trying to unfasten the clip. Even when they are off my feet it is very difficult to unfasten the clip. Also, they start to smell after a few wears. I normally expect a little more odor from sandals but nothing like this. I paid a lot of money for these. For what? They are truly junk. Trust me. I swear to you that they are not worth $20 even. Don't believe it. They do look cool though, so I say wear them for style only.

Not true to fit. About a half size too small. Nice other than that. I ordered a 47, need a 48. I wear a 14 in Allen Edmonds.

Worth the Hefty Price -
The first time I wore these were at an all-day walking tour. No problems at all. Comfortable from the start. The buckle was a little awkward to use. I found that loosening the heel strap, entering through the back and then tightening the heel strap was the easiest and quickest way to put them on. Well worth the price.

Comfort and Support! Bought these for my husband for Father's Day – he loves them. Wore them all weekend. A perfect fit, easy to get off and on – an important feature when you are traveling in the Far East. Great support.

Very Nice Sandal -
I've tried a number of sandals here and this is without a doubt the most comfortable sandal I have ever...EVER worn. Only downfall if you want to be picky is the buckle is a bit tricky, and then you figure it out, just press it.
OK, the price is tough to swallow, but you can send it back in at any time for the life of the shoe to get them re-furbed, including bottoms and all leather! For about $40.00! You get a new sandal, same comfy foot bed.
A wicked-sweet sandal!

Be forewarned -
The sandals have a very nice sole; however the buckle on the side of the sandal is exactly at the point at which my talus projects. This makes the sandal unwearable for me. I'll have to return it.

Great sandals -
My husband had pair of Clarks that he loved.
Clarks stopped producing high quality sandals with snap . I was searching for a long time and finally got him a replacement!

I own 3 pairs - just ordered two more...use to be Birkenstock person...but hands down(or should I say feet down)...these are it...go anywhere do anything...(hmm maybe not a suit...but who wears a suit???) Go for it Size 44 Euro is like a 10.5 US size.

Second pair owned -
The only drawback is that the shoe does not unbuckle (instep area) as well as it used to and I noticed the buckle is smaller than before. It can be a little frustrating at times.

Simply put, they are great sandals. Well worth the price. Best sandals I've ever owned. I wear a 10 and I ordered a 9, fit was excellent. They are a full size larger than marked.

My Husband LOVES these sandals -
This was the first pair of sandals that my husband ever owned. At first, he told me that he didn't want them because he doesn't wear sandals. Then, after encouraging him to try them, I couldn't get them off his feet. He has troublesome feet, and we did a charity walk of 20 miles, and he wore these well broken in sandals, and said his feet never hurt! After the first pair got worn out, I bought him the Mephisto Shark, which he likes as well, but not as much as the Allrounder as the Shark is a heavier sandal. Also, he now has tried a pair ECCO as well, but, for him nothing compares to these sandals. Just bought him his second pair.

Most comfortable sandal I've owned. Better than the comfortable Rockports I have. I have severe plantar fascitis and I am able to use my custom orthotics with this sandal. The heal "cups" upward in the back and holds the orthotic in place.

The size is one full size off.
I usually wear 9.5 and the size of 8 fit.
They are excellent and comfortable.
I would highly recommend them if you have the bucks to blow.

Great Shoe, a little trouble with the engineering -
I find this to be a very comfortable sandal. It is oversized by a whole size, so if you wear a 10M (as I do), order a 9M.
The only problem I had with mine was that the quick release buckle does just that--it quick-releases, but not only when you are expecting it to. The slightest pressure applied, such as inadvertently crossing your feet or leaning against something, will result in your sandal hanging on by the toe straps only- not very good engineering, if you ask me.

This is the best sandle I have ever purchased.
Well worth the slight extra cost. Excellent arch support & comfort with each step you take. I should have invested in this type sooner. This company has a nice style of selections to choose from.

Comfortable but rugged sandal. They have the hard sole and arch support of a hiking shoe with a durable traction sole. Soft lining and straps in the right places. I have comfortably walked through all types of terrain in my Mephisto sandals--very rugged. I also play golf in them. My favorite walking sandal.

This shoe is fantastic, and much less expensive than the "Shark." Lighter in weight also! The fit is great, much narrower (I wear a men's C width, not many Mephistos fit me). Nice arch support in metatarsal area, which I need. I hope the "Allrounders" catch on in the states, I think they are great and look cool too.

The Alligator is a great looking, and comfortable sandal. I am a solid size 9 but when I received my order they were too large (length and width) so I returned them for a size 8, which fit much better. Only complaint is that the straps don't offer very much latitude for tightening (especially the top strap) so the sandals feel just a little bit loose.

 |  | I want to personally thank all of you for sending my shoes standard overnight, even though I opted for UPS ground shipping. I only had one pair of black oxfords and they became unglued after doing some yard work. I have black jeans and clothes to wear them with, and needed these shoes very badly.
