Love, with some reservations -
I love these boots so much, but... I have high arches, and they are VERY difficult to get on and off. Like, to the point where I can't do it without a shoehorn, and it's sometimes painful. Once they're on, they feel great, and I can wear them for ages. But getting them on is such a struggle. I love them so much, tho', that I'll put up with it. :)
Also, some other reviewers have said the boots feel wider than marked - as someone with wide feet, I can say that they may be a smidge wider than standard "medium" width shoes, but they are definitely not "wide" width. I find the width snug, but not uncomfortably so.

This is my second pair of Ariat’s and they are absolutely the best boots I have ever owned! I wear them every chance I get as they are so comfortable. I will definitely order another pair! These are great to wear when I am on my feet all day or do a lot of walking. Thank You Zappos for the fast service. I ordered my boots in the late afternoon and they arrived the next morning! This was the second order I placed with Zappos and will order again in the future!

I have always bought the Fat Baby boots. The Probaby are a little harder to get on and a little tight the first few wearings. After that they are comfortable.

My Dream Boot -
I love my Star Babies!! A little wide, but nothing some insoles couldn't take care of. I've been wearing mine for over a year and they've held up great. These are my favorite footwear for work (service industry- on my feet) and I get nonstop compliments too!

Nightmare becomes a Dream!
Shopping for boots without a side zipper entry is a nightmare for me and my high arches. Can't get them on!! Once I get them on my sock or hose is ripped inside the boot and it's like a vice grip across the top of my feet. Tried the Ariat Star Baby and my nightmare is now a dream come true. My feet slide right into them, they're comfy and cute. Wore mine shopping the day I got them. I get a lot of compliments, too.

Ariat is the ONLY boot for me!
I have so many Ariat boots that I wrote a letter to the company and they sent me a free pair! I wanted a pair of Fat-Baby-Like boots for riding, and leave it to Ariat to come out with Pro Babies. I wear size 10 and have wide feet and 10 fits me perfectly in most Fat Babies, (except Gem Babies, which run small.) I got these Pro Babies in a size 10 and the left one was somewhat tight but that is because I had surgery on my ankle and my ankle will always be somewhat swollen now. The solution: riding boot socks called ZOCKS. Designed for tall field boots, these great socks are thin, comfortable, protect your leg all the way to the knee, and come in fun and funky prints, including horse prints. The woman's size fits even my very large 18" calf all the way to my knee!!
Ariat is the only boot I will wear because they are the only boots that don't hurt my ankle and the tops of my feet.
I am very satisfied with the Pro Babies for comfort, style, riding and anything else I want to do in them. If your boots are still tight after trying ZOCKS, you can resort to the old standby which I did with a super-tight pair of Gem Babies: Soak in warm water for 30 minutes, pat dry, and walk them dry. They will mold to your feet and the boot was in no way affected. This may not be recommended for all boots, but I decided to risk it and it worked for me.
You can NEVER have enough Ariat’s!

I absolutely love these boots! They are so adorable and look great, but they are tight to get on. I had to absolutely cram my foot in, bruises on the top and all. Once they were on they were great and easy enough to get off, but I just couldn't put my foot in them again, and believe me I tried!

Great boot, worth the $-
These boots look great with skirts, shorts and boot-cut jeans. They are very comfortable too. If you can’t wear heels like me, you will appreciate the low solid heel too. I wear a size 8 in these boots, and an 8.5 in almost all other shoes.

Awesome boots, Great for Everything.
I have had these boots for a month and love them more every time I wear them. It took no time at all to break them in. I have pretty wide feet and they fit comfortably. They were marked with average width but feel more like wide. I would recommend these boots for riding, fashion, and plain old daily wear. They are fashionable and comfortable. So many other boots are either one but not both.

I love the looks of these boots, but the calf portion is way too big and wide. I have small ankles, and the boots, although adorable, looked ridiculous on me. Even with jeans tucked in there's way too much room in the leg of these boots for me. Very, very sad.

These boots are so cute, but I simply cannot get them on my feet! If I had been able to get them on, they looked like they actually would have been large on my foot. Trust me, I tried like Cinderella's evil step-sisters to get these boots on my feet but the leather is so stiff, there is no give, and I finally decided that there would be no ball for me.

Nice boots!
I LOVE the look of these boots! I've received so many compliments on them.
They do run a half size or so too big, but I can barely notice that because I have to put an insert in them for better arch support.
Another small complaint - the tag on the inside of one of the boots scratched up my leg terribly when I was walking around NYC in these for a day because my sock would not stay up. Beware the scratchy label inside the boot.
Other than that, fantastic shoes. Worth every penny.

I don't ride horses or even hang out close to them. Just thought these were sooooooo cute and had to have them. Super comfy too. Cute w/dark, stiff denim jeans cuffed wide at the bottom. These are going with me to Vegas.

Wonderful beautiful boots! I love Ariat! Have 8 pairs of different styles. I have 2 pairs of Pro/Star Babies, and really love them. They do run a 1/2 size big. I normally wear an 8.5-9. In these and Fat Babies I wear an 8!
They do take a little extra time to break in, but are worth it!

After a little bit of breaking in...
...this pair of Ariat’s proves that they are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I have a narrow-ish foot, and my Ariat boots are the only boots I feel like I'm not sliding around in. They feel so sturdy, but look so stylish. I have a couple of Fat Baby boots, which required no breaking in. Now I have this pair of Star Baby boots, which needed a week's worth of walking and bending to break in the stiff leather shaft that made my ankles a little sore at first. Totally worth it though, because they're going to last forever. I buy Ariat boots in size 8 and they fit perfectly. I buy Dr. Martens boots in size 8 and they are a little long and wide on me.

Cute and comfortable -
Wore Star Baby boots around house, next day wore all day, very comfortable. Have had lots of compliments and people asking about them, something that doesn't usually happen to me! These are the shoes I reach for most often now for the barn, coffee shop, scout meetings, groceries. Walking the horses one stepped on my foot (toe) and all is well with toe and boot.

Order 1 size smaller in these super-cute boots -
I ordered my normal size in these boots, but even with thicker socks, they literally fell off my feet. I have never had to wear the smaller size, so this came as a huge surprise. Once I got the right fit, though, I fell in love with them. The leather was a bit stiff in the beginning (to be expected), but they're breaking in nicely. These are the first pair of Ariat boots I've ever owned, but I doubt they'll be the last.

What?! I ordered these totally cool boots yesterday LATE... like after 5 late, and they still got here today. WOW. They are perfect boots. I was a little worried about them not fitting, because being a gal over 200lbs I have quite the big legs. But they fit perfect and I even have plenty of wiggle room in the calf. Love 'em!

Love these boots!!!
These have got to be the most comfortable boots that I own. And the cutest! Straight from the box they were comfy without the need for breaking in. I will most likely buy another pair in another color.

I loved the look of this style of boots in the store and when I was looking for a boot that I would be able to walk to work in, I went for them! I have only walked once to work in them but they are wonderful! I love love love the look of them and they are very comfortable. I do suggest that one wear tights, leggings or long socks with them as the stitching on the inside will rub your calves raw. I'm so happy with these stunning and comfy boots!!

Best Cowboy Boots Ever!
I love these boots. They look great and are actually good for riding. I ride hunter/jumpers and quarter horses and these boots are very comfortable as well as stable. I'll never buy another brand for riding! I have them in the brown with red tops, and they are wearing gracefully.

 |  | Hello, I wanted to tell you the story of my experience with your company. In May, I placed an order for a couple of items. Immediately upon purchase, I changed my mind about one of the items. I called customer service and they were able to remove the item from my order. Sure enough, when my merchandise arrived, just the item I wanted was included. The problem, however, was I had been charged for both of my original items. I placed a call to customer service and they immediately fixed the issue. A few moments later, an email arrived containing a $20 credit for future orders on your site. The customer service rep did not mention the credit when I called, so I was surprised and delighted by the gesture. A couple of months later, I decided to place another order and cash in my coupon. However, the checkout process was confusing and the order was placed before I could figure where to apply the coupon. Once again, I called customer service. Once again, they immediately fixed the problem and issued the credit to my checking account. Once again, I was pleased. A few moments later, I got another surprise email. Apparently, the shipping on my order had been upgraded to standard overnight. Once again, I was surprised and delighted. True to the promise, my order arrived the next day. My shopping experience with Zappos.com could have been a true nightmare, instead I've been converted to a customer for life. Kudos to your customer service team for their excellent responses and proactive measures to ensure I knew I was a valued customer. I wish other companies would follow your fine example.
