Decent Urban Shoe -
I've had this shoe for over a year now and still wear it regularly. The shoe was comfortable for the first year; however, not very supportive for someone with flatter feet. It feels more like a slipper than an actual shoe. The toe stitching on the soles at the tips of the shoes wore down, leaving exposed threads that eventually ripped. Basically, the sole and upper leather portion separated. It was fixed by a local cobbler for $20. Secondly, the original insoles were great for a year, but since then had to be replaced with an after market brand. Outside, the leather has held up well and still looks great.
In summary, the stitching on the soles seems to be a little questionable due to the soft rubber bottoms and the insoles are not very durable with little arch support. Overall a decent shoe.

Doesn’t "melt" onto your foot -
Unlike most other Clarks I've tried (and own), this shoe just isn't as comfy as I had hoped. Give my previous positive experiences with Clarks, I bought this based off the pics--love the style/looks. My foot slides forward slightly when walking, and it just doesn't have that slipper-like feel that I was hoping for in a light oxford style shoe. I did try on a Born Tribune, which was very comfortable, but really liked the looks of the Fixx much more. Still contemplating returning the Fixx...

I've dealt with several via phone doing some shoe shopping, and they're always, always, always cheerful and they personalize the conversation. Your staff seems to enjoy their work and makes shopping online/exchanging via phone a breeze. The VIP overnight shipping is great too, but I could do without that as long as your staff continued their positive, personal service to customers.
