So, I knew I needed a closed toe sandal, and after hearing a lot of recommendations for Keen I decided on these. I bought my normal size, they arrived the next day (for free!), and they fit like a charm. I've worn them 90% of the time I've worn shoes since. Would highly recommend to others.

I bought these for my son-in-law!!
It was very brave of me to buy my son-in-law a pair of shoes for his birthday, but I felt comfortable doing this with these shoes. He had commented on how much he liked mine so I figured I'd give it a try. He wore a size 13, which they didn't come in so I bought him a size 14. They fit him perfectly and he said they were the most comfortable shoes he has ever owned.

Pretty Good - This is my first pair of Keens. Overall they are a good fit, have a good look, and are pretty comfy. The only issue I have is that my feet are a bit too warm in them at work. I bought them for the open style so my feet could breathe while I'm running around as a nurse in the ER, but as I said, my feet are still a bit too warm in them. For outside work, they are great. Super comfy after a few days of "breaking in." I would recommend Keens for those of you who don't own a pair.

GREAT DEAL -
My order arrived promptly to a remote location in Maine shortly after I ordered them. I had placed the order to arrive there before we flew in for my husband’s birthday. They were waiting when we arrived. (Free Shipping unlike the airline who wants extra for the bags!) The sandals are just as described, perfect fit and my husband has been raving about them since he got them. I have always loved Keens and now know where we will buy our next pairs! Despite all the hype with some reviews above I have found that the shoe does not live up to expectations. I got them because they are "waterproof" but if they get wet, they REMAIN wet for many hours (I got them wet yesterday evening and this AM they were still wet), which is annoying. They also make your soles very hot. Fit is great and styling is awesome.

I love this shoe! Comfortable! Great for walking! I wear them almost exclusively (when I'm not wearing the Newports I wear other styles of Keens). Total Keen fanatic here.

I ordered this boot in black and brown. I get crazy compliments every time I wear them! Surprisingly comfortable considering the high heel (but I wouldn't have it any other way). Adds a twist to the traditional cowboy boot, which I do not like. Surprise to still see them here since I've had them for almost 3 years now. Great boot! And I have large calves too!

Great shoes . . . just like my daughter said they'd be!
I confess I seem to have a thing about shoes. My feet are pretty normal, but perhaps the same cannot be said for their owner. Anyhow, I keep looking for "the shoe." This one comes as close as any I've found. It's sturdy and comfortable; and I can see, as my daughter indicated, that it can be worn year-round . . . as I intend to do. It does seem a little "roomier" than I expected, but not in a way that I don't like.

BEST SANDAL EVER!!!
I've never had a more comfortable shoe or sandal. You can really "live" in these. I wore out my first pair, and just purchased 2 more. They are the only shoe in my closet that I can't imagine living without.

Best Birding Shoes EVER!
These shoes are great for outdoor activities, specifically birding. The airy quality and comfortable feel provide good feel for long days in the field. These will keep your feet cool in hot weather yet can be worn most of the year because they aren't THAT open.
Plus, since they are washable, you don't have to worry about walking through the muck.
One final thing. The hard toe area is better than other "open" shoes because you don't need to worry about ramming your toes against rocks, trees, etc.

Reviews told me it was a great sandal and it is. No break in period needed and the adjusting method keeps sandal on my very narrow feet. Plus reviews said ran a half size short and it does.

Newport Rocks!
I purchased the Keen for my son in law for his birthday. The fit and comfort are exceptional and he loves the waterproof aspect...we are vacationing in Northern Michigan and are in and out of the lake all day, plus the skid proof sole is great on the fishing boat! 5 stars all around for this shoe!

I have grown to like my Keens, but took a little breaking in time. I have sensitive feet, and at first this shoe rubbed some blisters on the sides of my feet where straps met the footbed. But after awhile this effect subsided. Overall I'm happy with them now, and really like the cushioning and roomy toe bed.

Is that me? As much as I love wearing Keen Newport sandals, I am disappointed by the fact that the hybrid emits a rather strong odor of rubber/plastic. Try standing in a crowded elevator and suddenly becoming aware that the stench of retread is coming from you. Shouldn't happen with such an excellent product line.

As advertised! This shoe is heralded as supporting the metatarsal joint. I bought it for someone who has arthritis in that joint, due to a soccer injury, and he says the shoe feels as good as the orthopedic boot he had been wearing. It's very stylish and looks great too!

I've been looking for a good pair of sandals that don't feel like cheap plastic. The minute I tried them on "wow" I was sold. I'm also surprised by the construction, how light they are.
