What can I say but I have had many sandals in my life. I am 57, but I have never had a sandal this comfortable. Not like a sandal, more like a great walking shoe or hiking shoe. Plenty of support in the arch, thick in the heel. Since my purchase almost 3 months ago I have worn nothing else and I have purchased another pair for if these ever wear out. And you can't beat Zappos free shipping even if you return them. But if you purchase these, that would only happen for size.

I had a pair of Earth Shoes, Sandals, and liked them but they were a little heavy and over time I had to have the straps re-sewn a number of times. I finally decided to send them to sandal heaven and got online and looked at Zappos and the Ecco Performance Yucatan Sandal. I received them in a few days. I have worn them a few weeks now and love them. They are attractive, lightweight, very comfortable. I have two happy feet that thank me at the end of the day.

I have never been happier with the comfort or appearance of any footwear. This sandal is so soft it totally belies the support it gives to the arch and heel, and, whatever part shows any sign that it will wear soon has not made itself obvious yet.\r\nI will have to get used to the European look of the Ecco shoe because I won\'t compromise again, ever.

I ordered the Ecco Yucatan sandal for my husband for his birthday. He loved them. They arrived the day after I placed the order. Thanks Zappos! The fit was perfect and he wore them right away. Ecco shoes are his favorite.

This is my 4th pair of Ecco Yucatan's, so as you can tell I love them. I like a bit wider shoe, so I buy men's rather than women's style.

The friend who recommended the Zappos web site and this particular shoe has a history of locating high quality products and recommending them to friends. I have owned and enjoyed sandals made by Dexter and Birkenstock but these Ecco sandals are the most comfortable, attractive, best-constructed sandals ever. They are not inexpensive, but in this case I think you get what you pay for.

I own almost exclusively Ecco footwear because of their comfort and fit. This is my second pair of Ecco sandals and this new pair is everything that I expected.

I bought these shoes to replace a very similar pair of Eccos that my husband has worn for 10 years. I figured if the first pair lasted this long, why even look at any other brand! He has loved the comfort and style. They are great for walking, traveling, or anything else. They don't need breaking in, and he just loves them. The price is definitely worth the quality it brings!

The one thing I am finding with Ecco shoes in general is that they run a size small and are narrow. So I ordered the men's 42 instead of the women's 42. I love these sandals and wear them to work every day. I work at a welcome center so I am on my feet all day and the cushioned soles are great. I have a high arch so I wish the arch was just a little higher, but for a sandal they have the best arch I have found.

Verry comfortable. ECCO makes the best sandals. This style is a bit younger than I usually choose, but it is a nice alternative to more traditional sandals from ECCO.

We have purchased two pair of these sandals and they are true to size and very supportive and comfortable. I wore them to Kings Island all day and I was very pleased with them. I have purchased several pair and styles of Ecco.

I got my purchase very quickly...thank you Zappos...I had forgotten how wonderful your service, prices, and quality are...as for the sandals...they fit very comfortably the first time I slipped them on...they will be a major assist to me on my upcoming cruise and save my feet from fatigue...they are true to size look great and need no break in period...I strongly recommend them...you won’t be sorry...

Ecco has once again proven themselves worthy of my patronage. The Yucatan sandals are very comfortable, right out of the box, as has been my experience with all of the Ecco products I have used. I also had a great customer service experience with the folks at Zappos. I had ordered a size that wasn’t quite right and the exchange was very easy and simple. Great sandal. Very comfortable. I've had many Ecco's, and though the soles of some have fallen apart, I keep coming back for the comfort. I feel like they're on the high end of prices for a casual sandal and Zappos price is the same as at department stores and at special walking stores. Still, I like them and would buy them again.

Bought these after searching the internet for reviews of athletic sandals for people with WIDE feet. This shoe came highly recommended and rightly so. Started an overnight hike (15 miles round trip, 2500 FT up and the same down - twice, once in and once out) in the local mountains. Started out in hiking boots but had to abandon them after less than two mile, with hot spots on both heels. Choices were to quit or try these sandals that I brought for around camp. I had been wearing them everywhere for about three weeks. These shoes served me so well that I will never wear a hiking boot again. My feet have never felt better at the end of a hike and my legs appreciate the lighter weight. I have joined the league of sandal wearing hikers and this is the shoe that converted me. Just bought a second pair. The very slight ridge that supports the plantar tendon is perfect. No need to have the shoe hold up the entire arch which keeps things cool and dry with no rubbing on the delicate skin of my arch. No rubbing anywhere the straps touched my feet. I'm 55 years old, female, weight 200LBs and was carrying a 35LB pack (training for a longer hike later in the year). This is a very good shoe!

I have a relatively narrow foot, and these sandals have been the best fit I have ever had. Most sandals try to be a one-size fits all. These Ecco's are able to be adjusted to my specific foot. Phenomenal sandal!

Nice appearance but poor cushioning -
This sandal is excellent in appearance and comfortable from the standpoint of the strap positions in relation to the foot. That said, the cushioning is very firm to the point it is almost nonexistent.

Great summer shoe for long pants or shorts...was able to walk through neighborhood with shoes right out of the box. Adjustable straps and nice inner sole make these another Ecco favorite of mine.

Perfect except for the abrasive sole material...
I've had these sandals for 2 years, replaced a previous pair of Josef Seibels. These are great looking and fundamentally comfortable sandals, plenty of support. My issue is that over long periods of walking, the material that the insole is made of is very abrasive and hurts and blisters the bottom of my feet. It’s such a shame because I could comfortably wear these sandals for years, but because of this, I'm planning on going back to Josef Seibels. I have seen some newer ones of the same model in stores and the insoles seem softer, maybe they've changed them...

Great Sandal -
I purchased the Ecco Yucatan Sandal for my husband for a Florida vacation. He has difficulty finding a comfortable shoe and sandals. His previous sandal was a Mephisto but we just couldn't rationalize their price with this current economy. I read the reviews on this sandal and I liked the looks of the Yucatan style so we gave it a try. He did break them in a bit first by wearing around the house a hour each eve about a week before we left and he thought that at first the arch seemed too high so I was skeptical. But by the time we traveled he wore them daily during the 9 day trip and said that they were very comfortable, actually he commented “the most comfortable footwear he's ever worn”, and encouraged me to comment on your site to say how much he likes them. I love that Zappos has such a variety of sizes and I have purchased several shoes for my small hard to find sz 5 feet, and been amazed at the expedient delivery and great customer service that Zappos provides! Reading comments and reviews has been very helpful in choosing the right shoe. Thanks Zappos for a great company where customer service is paramount!
