Pretty expensive, but these are nice shoes. I took the other reviewers' advice and ordered a half size smaller any they fit just fine. Much as I like them, they won't be my everyday shoes, though. I travel a lot and really "wear" my shoes. These have pretty thin soles (comfort is fine though) and as one of the other reviewers mentioned, they are really susceptible to damage; one kick on the curb or bump on an escalator and that will be it!

I was sorry to have to return these shoes because they are absolutely beautiful and just the right style and heel height for work with skirts or slacks. They are a very high quality product that looks more expensive than they are. Unfortunately, the width of the shoe was too great around mid-foot and the toe box was too short. A longer size would not have solved the problem either. I have another pair of sesto meucci shoes that are so incredibly comfortable that I thought these would work too.

Beautiful shoe, leather quickly molds to the foot. I am a narrow width and the narrow fits well. The leather sole is flexible and seems to wear well. Major drawback--the woven design is easily damaged. I stubbed or scraped the toe of one shoe on a curbstone and it tore a segment of the woven leather loose. No way to repair it really.

The Wide was so narrow that I couldn't even get my foot into it. That was very disappointing, as these shoes would be perfect to wear with a suit at work.

Simple Elegance!
I have the black Sesto Meucci Neda, and love the look and feel of this shoe. The leather is soft and fits perfectly to the foot. The shoes are stylish and have the casual elegance typical of an Italian designer.

Love at First Fit -
I love these shoes - worth the money! The leather is luscious and the fit is perfect. The toe is a little narrower than I generally like, but within one day of wearing them, the fit was like a slipper! I bought two colors of the same style and they're both perfect!

These shoes are utterly amazing! I have the most difficult time finding anything that will fit because I have short, wide feet with a really high arch and in-step. Usually, I have real problems with Mary Jane style shoes because the short front-top piece usually cuts right into the top of my foot. But these fit like a glove right out of the box. They are extremely comfortable and very stable--even though the heel is stylishly high in the back. They are awesome to walk in, and I can't recommend them highly enough! I want them in every color!

I have a wide foot; most wides work well and this was no exception - shoe was a little pricey for me until I put it on and it was like a slipper. Thanks Sesto - please make more stylish wides ... and to Zappos - - no one can compare to Zappos when it comes to service - class - efficiency - friendly staff - - Zappos is #1 thanks - I will not buy shoes any where but Zappos!

High quality shoes -
Very well made of high quality leather. Good support in arch and the smooth leather inside the shoe makes them a joy to slip on. I do think they run a bit wide and short though. I'm normally a 10N, but even a 10S was too wide for me and a bit short in the toe. So returned them with regret. Too expensive to purchase if they don't fit perfectly.

I ordered another pair in another color because the look is just what I have been looking for so long. The fit is perfect and the compfort is something to die for. The quality of this shoe in my opinion is above average. They are worth purchasing.

Great shoe -
It's a great, classic walking shoe and I bought it in two colors. Like most shoes, it did give me a blister in the back the first time I wore it (barefoot, oops!), but the leather is so soft it will definitely work. I feel like I can walk for miles in it. I was afraid that it would make my large foot look mannish, but it actually made it look smaller.

Sesto Navy Blue Neda -
I am guessing the manufacturer uses some type of vegetable-based dye on this leather, but the first time I wore these beautiful shoes, my feet were navy-blue and my Spanx pantyhose were ruined. Most of the dye on my skin came off by showering the first day and the rest just wore off, but the pantyhose (not inexpensive) are still stained. That being said, shoes are very, very comfortable, as expected (I have two other pairs by the same company, different style) and look great with jeans or dressier clothes.

These are very elegant traditional Italian loafers. If you wear a medium, I suggest you try the Narrow - because they do "relax" to the shape of your foot.

Just Mah-velous, Dahlink!
Just received this shoe (next day!) in size 10 S (AAA). After walking around the house for 10 min, I had NO hesitation about keeping them on, as we were headed for dinner. Felt like a million $$! I forgot that I had on a NEW pair of shoes, and they felt wonderful, like my favorite pair of slippers. These shoes are a great investment, worth every nickel, and then some. Thank you, Zappos, for carrying quality shoes for my hard-to-fit feet! It's a treat to look good and feel good also!

The 7.5 M was snug against my big toe, but I was walking out of the 8.0 M. Super soft leather. I'm sure they'd be extremely comfortable if I could buy a 7.75 size.

Review of Sesto Mecci Neda -
I started to return the shoes; however, decided to keep them. I have not been able to wear them thus far because of foot problems. Have had 2 foot surgeries Dec 2006. I wear 5.5 but this shoe is not wide enough and didn't come in C width. I'm still hoping to be able to wear them because they are sharp looking!

Worth Every Penny -
Beautiful rich color, buttery leather. Wore them right out of the box bare foot and never felt a pinch, rub or pain. A shoe such as this helps you to appreciate the difference between a high quality, made with care, natural leather shoe and a poor quality shoe. I couldn't be happier with these shoes. And of course Zappos Rocks!
