I bought a pair of these comfortable, not too cute shoes last summer. I notice hardly any breakdown on them and trust they will last another summer of ocean, lake, and hiking fun. Great quality, totally worth the money. One draw back I have experienced - during water/dirt activities, rocks and sand get stuck inside the front protective toe.

As recommended I purchased a 1/2 size up. I always wear a size 7.5, but I ordered the size 8 and it fits perfect. Just enough room in the toe - but not too much room. Great arch support.

Love these shoes! There is no break in time and they are so comfortable. I bought my sons the same shoe and they love them. Easy to get on and off. Do not hesitate to try. They are well worth the money.

I love Keen sandals and have owned several pairs, the last of which was purchased 2 years ago. They have always been true to size. However, when I purchased this new pair in my regular size 7, they were too short. I guess I would need at least a 7.5, but I don't like these sandals enough to order another size. They are very chunky sandals, much more so than any other Keens I own. They have a very wide look, though not a wide fit, and are heavy and stiff. I ordered a pair in the Whisper style, instead, and like them much better!

I got these shoes for boating (nonslip), and I just love them. I do wear them for other activities too. True to size as well (I have another pair of Keen's). Also, my feet are wide, and these are very comfortable, giving enough room and support. The color choices are cool too. You can't go wrong with these.

I bought a pair of Keen Newports for both my husband and myself. Ordered them a 1/2 size larger based on previous reviews, and they are terrific. They are great for water and dry land both. They are also roomy and comfortable. My husband also likes his - which is saying a lot. He hasn't worn a sandal of any type in many years. I definitely would recommend them to anyone - especially if you are living around water!

This is my second pair of Keen Newport. I wore my first pair almost every day for five years and they are showing a little wear on the sole. The shoes definitely will outlast the elastic, which I had to replace a couple of years ago. Always worn with Smart Wool socks.

Awesome everyday shoe -
Purchased this pair to replace a pair of Keens I had purchased 8 years ago. They were still in great shape, but I realized they were actually purchased too small. These are awesome. LOVE the stone color. The left shoe felt a bit odd at first and was uncomfortable. After some minor adjustments all is well. I wear them walking, on coral, in the ocean, you name it!

The perfect shoe!
I cannot tell you how much I love this shoe. It is comfortable, looks cool and takes you through city wear or outdoor excursions. The fit is great. I have a wide foot and the size of this shoe is considered normal/average (B) instead of (W) for wide. However, it is a roomy shoe and would work well for those with size (C or D) wide feet. That is what I was looking for and I found it. So, I love this shoe/sandal and wear them all the time. They are comfortable out of the box.

Just what I was looking for -
I was looking for a sturdy pair of sandals (since I'm trying to heal my plantar fasciitis). These Keens have decent arch support, are comfortable, and are funky looking. My only complaint might be that they are not as cool (temperature wise) as I had hoped. Overall, worth the purchase.

These shoes are very comfortable from the first wear and they fit very well, but I had worn them only a couple of times over the first two weeks and the elastic lining inside already has holes/runs in it. I was really disappointed by this because I take great care of my shoes. They still wear well, though. I do have to pull the heel strap fairly tight to get it over the back of my heel. Maybe that's what caused the elastic lining to give.

Looks: I have the Shitake/Baroque Rose Newport. In the photos, the lighter part of the sole looks light brownish gray; in reality it is a better matching dark taupe color. The brown leather has what looks to be miniature glitter on it...not so that people can notice while you wear them, but if you inspect them closely you see shiny specks. The material under the leather is the same color it appears to be in the photos, which means it is lighter than the taupe color on the sole; I wish Keen had made the material darker to match the taupe on the sole. The spaces between the leather straps don't match when you compare the right and left shoes - seems to be typical for Keens.
Fit: I always wear a 10 (I have a fairly narrow, thin foot), but I think I probably could have used a 9.5 in this shoe. I always err toward too large to accommodate swelling from travel and exercise. Sadly, the strap around the ankle is my #1 problem with this shoe. They felt fine walking back and forth on my rug as I was testing the fit, however, once I ventured beyond the rug onto a hard surface, the back strap rubbed my ankle and is very uncomfortable. I have tried adjusting the bungee tightness and it seems that leaving it loose hurts the least (surprising since I probably could have used a half size smaller shoe). I have started wearing a thin ankle sock with them to add a little cushioning, which seems to have helped. The strap also seems to push my foot forward so that the half size of extra room I have in the shoe shows in the open part behind my heel. The arch support and the rest of the shoe feel great. I have noticed that my feet almost feel wet when I wear these, and my feet don't sweat with any other shoes (full coverage or sandal). My husband's Newports work fabulously for him... no ankle rubbing; perhaps it helps to have a wide ankle. This shoe leaves enough room for your toes to wiggle.
Performance: I haven't had a slipping issue in them. They were comfortable (except for the ankle strap) on a casual hike in NC. My husband's Newports worked beautifully on a hike in the Alps. I haven't washed mine yet, but after washing my husband's Newports, the brown inner sole part pulled away from the black outer sole part; they are still quite functional, but they don't look as nice now with a gap between the materials.

In Love!
My first pair of Keens. I was a reluctant buyer because of the toe guard on the sandals. And because I heard they run small. Out of the box the shoe gives me everything I want - and then some. When my feet are happy - then I am happy!
I have worn these to work and around town. Great, comfortable sandals. I will purchase other Keens in the future.

I really love these shoes -
I wore my Keen Newports on a recent trip to Stanford and San Francisco, where I walked for many, many miles. I had just purchased them, but they required no breaking in, were extremely comfortable with great arch support, and look great. I've had a lot of trouble with my foot tenderness over the years, but my feet felt really good at the end of long days of walking.

Love these sandals -
These are so comfortable, even with my really bad bunions. Arch support is great. This is one sandal that I can wear without freaking people out with my bad bunions! I will buy these again.

I have several different styles of Keen's but this is my favorite. I have problem feet, but I can wear them all day without feeling any pain. They do run 1/2 size small, but I knew that from experience. I recommend them highly.

The perfect sandal!
Love these, very comfortable w/amazingly GREAT arch support, wide toe box, waterproof and the toe protection is perfect for walks in the fields/woods. They leave my problem feet pain free and it's the only pr of shoes I own that I can say that about. Do not have to wear my inserts, the arch support is supreme. Wish I could get the same shoe other than sandal style as I live in MI and it gets a bit brisk wearing sandals in sub zero temps, but for the comfort, I do it. Slip them on perfect fit for me, no break in time, I now own 3 pair and will buy more. Goes with work casual and summer fun. Just love them, the best of the keen shoes for me. The wider toe box leaves your feet feeling comfy, just a super sandal, HIGHLY RECOMMEND; hope Keen never changes this design!

This is a great shoe. I was worried that I bought a pair that was going to be small after reading all the reviews but the shoe felt true to size. I plan to use these shoes hiking in hot climates where Teva's just won't cut it.

Disney World for a week and no blisters!
I purchased these shoes to wear in Disney World. I never had a chance to "break them in" before my first day. I was so happy that after 5 twelve hour days of walking - no blisters! My only complaint was that the black rubber at the toe rubbed off my new manicure :)

I read all of the reviews before ordering this shoe and thought nothing could be as good as the information I was reading. Well, they arrived in record time and absolutely fit like a glove. I did order 1/2 size larger as recommended. I walk 4-5 mi. every day and checked these out without breaking them in and they were more comfortable than my tennis shoes. I plan on 10 days in Italy and my Keens will definitely go with me.

My Top 2 Favorite Keens -
It's a tie for #1: Newport and Laguna H2. Both are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, with or without socks. Wore them on a 2-wk trip to Italy, walked everywhere, and never had a problem. I always buy Keens 1/2 size larger and they're perfect. I have a large foot that tends to run wide. Venice is great, too, but not as cute. Love the brand and Zappos is great!

The Best! I ordered these Keen Newports for my husband and myself. We have been wearing them daily to break them in before our 2 week trip to the Eastern Mediterranean. They are very light and extremely comfortable.

Best Sport Sandals ever!
As with my past pairs of Keens, these are outstanding. Love the color and the fit. This pair did run half a size smaller than previous pairs I purchased. I had to return and reorder several pairs to get the right fit, but let me say ZAPPOS was excellent in accommodating me. Their customer service is world class, the best of the best on the internet. Sum it up, I love Keens, I love Zappos and I have to go order another pair as soon as I wrap up this review.

Very pleased -
I purchased this shoe to wear in and around the water while kayaking and was not disappointed. It is very comfortable and dried quickly. It stayed on securely, even when wet. They do not seem excessively hot, even on days over 90 degrees. I did order 1/2 size up, and the fit was perfect.
