Ecco Yucatan Sandal -
I love this shoe. I bought a pair in a different color at a local department store. They were so comfortable; I wanted to get another pair. I knew Zappos would be most likely to have them. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I do a lot of walking in my job and my feet never get tired in these shoes.

Walking On A Cloud -
If you've ever imagined what it might be like to walk on a cloud, look no further than Yucatan Ecco! I have combination width feet (medium front and triple-A heels), so the adjustable straps are made to order. They're comfortable right from the start with no gradual, breaking-in period necessary. If financially possible, I would purchase several pair for future use: although a bit pricey, they are well worth the investment in terms of durability. PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS LINE!

I bought a pair of Eccos almost 5 years ago and had almost worn them out - - the rubber sole actually started to split. I have worn them around the world! I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable so I was leery about ordering over the internet. They fit great and received them much sooner than I had expected. (Fortunately the size was still very visible on the bottom of the shoe.) I am totally impressed with your service and am confident that if they hadn't fit I could have returned them without any cost to me.

This is my 2nd pair of Ecco Yucatan Sandals. I have been wearing my tan and green ones constantly for the past 6 months. I wanted a darker color for fall. They are the best; not only are they extremely comfortable, they are fun and they look nice on my size 11 foot. My husband and I both have them. Thanks for your speedy no charge delivery.

Unreal comfort - This shoe came to me as a recommendation from my mom who bought them after her puppy ate her other brand sandal. She raved about them, so I had to try them. I love them! They are comfortable right off the bat. Not sloppy or bulky like this style can be, very adjustable and just downright great for everything. I hike in them, go for long walks with my dog, wear them to town and to work. Now I have two pair.

Extremely comfortable -
Wore these for a long day of walking right out of the box and they were very comfortable. I like Ecco shoes in general and these are a particular favorite.

Magic in the mid-sole -
I'd worn the predecessor to the Ecco Yucatan sandal that was better than any I'd tried before. Styles, materials have changed, so my resistance to black nylon linings was overcome by the comfort. There's some magic in the padding/mid-sole now that cushions the bottom of my foot in the strategic places--keeps you wanting to walk and walk/shop and shop. The price is hard to swallow, though, but thanks for the research!

A great sandal - My friend has the Yucatan sandal. I'm having trouble with my one foot and it is hard to wear other sandals. She said try these on, she wears the same size as I do. I did and how comfy they were. They have a nice solid sole and I like the feature of the velcro straps. It isn't the most beautiful sandal but the most comfortable one I have ever worn. They go with everything and are a great walking sandal. I wear them all the time. Hope you keep handling them.

Comfortable, Functional -
Of the dozen or so walking sandals I tried, these are by far the most comfortable, even if a little funky looking. Good arch support, good for walking -- though I developed a blister on the ball of one foot after a long day on my feet -- good adjustments. I have the start of a tailor's bunion on my right foot, which requires a medium-width shoe that runs a bit wider than most (and/or that does not have seaming in that spot). This shoe feels true to width, or a bit wider; which is good, in this case.
When the heel tab is pulled snug, though, the underlying fabric pads either overlap each other (forming a thicker "bump" against the side of my heel) or fold back (avoiding the overlap but creating a different kind of "bump" further toward the back of my heel.
The colored, perforated strap along the outside of the foot gaps a bit -- more on one foot than the other -- and I almost returned the shoes because of this.
However, due to the overall comfort and support, I decided to keep them in spite of these few small complaints, and in spite of the rather steep price. So far, so good.

Best Money Ever Spent -
I hesitated to spend so much money on sandals. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I have a very troublesome right foot and these shoes are so comfortable that I need to find the same comfort in a closed shoe for fall and winter. Even my podiatrist gave a big "thumbs up". The arch and support are GREAT!

What great service!!! I saw the Ecco Yucatan online, but thought I wanted to find them in a local store. That didn't work so I went online to Zappos. I ordered at 8:00pm and had them by 1:00 the very next day! They arrived very well packed. I took them from the box and immediately put them on. For summer they are now my only activity shoe. I wish that Ecco could make one this comfortable with a little more style for dressier activities.

Nice, but...
This is a nice looking sandal and the fit is good. However, the upper layer of the sole that your foot rests on does not work well for me. I have high arches and my foot slides as I walk. I got calluses on my feet within an hour of wearing these sandals. I get much better support and can walk all day in my Teva and Keen sandals. They provide much better support and I can get them at a much lower price than these.

Comfort, comfort, comfort! I received these shoes and took them on a trip to San Francisco the next day without having worn them before. I was able to wear them for 10 days straight with no problems. Actually, I have ankle problems that these shoes corrected. I will be buying another pair when these wear out.

Yucatan Sandal -
I have been away and am wearing these inside only to decide what to do. The footbed is wonderful. My problem is the heel strap on one seems to drop lower than the other no matter what I do. I don't really know how to decide at this point thus am not wearing them outside or long at a time.

The sandals are great. They are truly as comfortable as a gym shoe. I purchased the black and gray with a little purple on them. They are much more neutral in color that they appear. I would definitely order these if you are looking for a sport sandal. As always Zappos is awesome!

This is a great shoe for people with flat feet. I usually only find this type of comfort with sneakers and my orthodics. The velcro ties enable people with a thinner foot to adjust for comfort. I live in mine.
