You need a shoe horn and patience -
I bought these for my six year old son for school shoes. They’re great looking but they were impossible for him to put them on himself. And if he did manage, the part that sticks up on the back heel of the shoe gets pushed down so it's too tight and rubs on the back of the heel.

 |  | I just had to write you about what an incredible experience it has been recently to deal with your company. I had bought a pair of rather expensive Mephisto sandals at the turn of the year that kept cutting my feet and giving me blisters. After wearing them 3 or 4 times, I gave up, threw them in the closet and figured I'd have to donate them… I ordered a new set of Mephistos that arrived this week and fit perfectly - no blisters, no problems. Along the way, I had a different pair sent that also fit wrong and those I sent back. Each time postage was paid BOTH ways, which I found remarkable, and the new shoes even came second-day air at no extra cost. I know this is standard policy for you folks, but it blew my mind. And each time I called customer service to handle the sending back of the original pair and then the second pair, until I got the final correct pair, each representative was kind, courteous, and super-competent. What an incredibly well-run company.
