Maybe it was just a bad pair, but the suede on these shoes looked patchy - like it had been rubbed off. Terrible quality.

After reading the reviews on this shoe I thought it would be great. Too bad I couldn't even get my foot into it. I wear an 8.5 wide and had purchased another pair of Annie brand that were ok. These were not.

Annie Calista, Black Snake Pump -
I regret purchasing and wearing this pair of shoes. After wearing them one hour, my back, ankles and feet were hurting. It is a pretty shoe but extremely uncomfortable. I had hoped the fit would be similar to my favorite shoe, Annie Carol, but, it is not. Wearing a pair of Annie Carol shoes, I can walk all day with comfort. Annie Calista does not provide the same comfort.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: If Annie Carol was available, I would recommend Annie Carol INSTEAD OF Annie Calista.

Beautiful professional dress shoe -
Wow, what a disappointment that this didn't fit. Ordered this and Annie Edith in same size. Not sure what was mis-sized, but this fit very short and tight on my size 11AA foot. It is a great looking shoe.

What a great shoe…and the compliments I got. It felt great, very comfortable all day long. Nice heel height, I'm buying another pair. A gal's gotta have a snazzy red shoe.

Look good, but...
The toe area is very cramped. When I first put them on they seemed to fit like a glove and felt fine--after a few steps, toe area is too tight.

Great professional pump -
I love the look of this shoe with both pants and skirts. I wish it had more cushioning, though. In my job I do a lot of walking over hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete, terrazzo), and I find that the ball of my foot feels sore by the end of the day and that the shoe feels tight across the base of my toes. However, on days when I spend more time in my office, this is a great, comfortable shoe.

Very pleased!
I am very pleased with these pumps. They look sharp, classic and a bit retro. I wear a very large size so I am always grateful to manufactures (and shoe stores) that accommodate the 10 and over client. They also have built in comfort pads, which feel nice.

The shoe is fine - a simple basic pump with a little more pizzazz in the heel. I'm not thrilled with the quality of the suede - in fact, all the Annie shoes I've ordered (and returned - this is the first pair I've kept) have seemed cheaply made. But they fit, which is hard to find in a 7 WW, and look good, and are pretty comfortable.

Elegant dress shoe -
The Annie's Calista is very elegant (and remarkably similar in styling to a much more expensive designer-brand shoe I nearly bought in a duty-free shop last year) and has a heel that is sturdy without looking clunky. I ordered a wide and found it less wide than one might expect; next time I might order an even wider size. Which is available -- thank you Zappos.

It fits and is comfy!
The shoe fits well and is comfortable enough to wear all day, walking and desk work. It is stylish without being too high a heel. It makes the basic "pump" one with flair. Love it.

This is a comfy shoe -
This is a classic style with good design and great comfort, although it's a bit plain. I have a very narrow foot, so the N is a tad roomier than ideal, but, because the heel has high coverage at the back, it stays on my foot just fine while walking.
Because of the classic, unadorned style, this shoe dresses up for evening or down for the office. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable walking/standing shoe that still has a bit of classy design.

Annie Calista vs. Vaneli Acorn -
This is a very comfortable and classy shoe. The Vaneli Acorn is also one of my favorites, but this shoe has a little more room in the toe area, making it a little more comfortable. I have the brown snake color. I will order more colors. I am very happy with the look and comfort of this shoe.

This shoe is the prettiest for a comfortable shoe I have had in a long time. Have the black snake skin. The shape and heel height are quite elegant with skirts. Very happy with the show and with Zappos!
