Great service, good shoe -
These shoes look very nice, not quite so much like athletic shoes; the only downside might be their stiffness as they don't flex as much as some other shoes. Perhaps this will change after a few wearings.

Excellent shoe. My 2 year old has the widest feet I've ever seen and New Balance are the only ones that I have found to fit him.

NEW BALANCE -
Great shoes! Felt true to width. Needed a wide shoe and this fit very comfortable. First time, wore them at work all day and they did not hurt. Zappos is great, received these shoes within a day. Thank you.

New Balance Kids Black Sneakers -
Got these as they are the laced version to the velco straps ones my 6 yr old son had before, and my son was anxious for laces. As with previous pair, he is just as happy and comfortable with them, and boy is he fussy with shoes. We always buy the wide width ones as he prefers the fit.

Not expected -
As I do like New Balance shoes especially for my little boy, this particular shoe seems a bit harder than the other NB shoes he has worn. Which is not what I had expected when I actually received, inspected and tried the shoe on him. If I did buy it at a local store I think I would have returned it but we kept it since it was much needed for school. I was hoping for a well rounded shoe that he could also wear besides just in school but this shoe is too stiff for too much outdoor "activity" for him to enjoy in so I just have him wear it at school.

This is my son's 2nd pair!!!
Only because my son's growing like a weed, I just ordered a pair of youth, size 2. He's a Kindergartner and he is very active. This shoe is awesome: It's got the look (for church), the comfort, and the durability to exceed the challenge of playground everyday.

Thank God New Balance makes an all BLACK shoe!
I bought these to use for Church shoes and later spring tennis shoes, when the other shoes are worn out or look that way. Tennis Shoes are more comfortable than most dress shoes, softer on the feet. My son hates shoes in general so I was relieved to find someone still makes a BLACK tennis shoe. Thank God for New Balance. My son seems to like these better than the Stride Right pair we bought him for everyday wear. I think they are wider across the top of the foot where he needs it. He is 4, so you will have to take my word for it. Put it this way, the Stride Rites come off in the car on the way home from school, the New Balance stay on until I tell him to take them off, he forgets they are on...that is a good thing for someone who hates to wear shoes.

Bought this shoe and it fits like a dream. Arch support GREAT and comfortable. I am an adult who wears little girl sizes. I have a hard to fit foot that is wide and narrow heel. I have bought 3 different pair of shoes and one of which was boots (FITS LIKE A DREAM) and just order another pair. My son has a high instep and requires a wide to extra-wide shoe. I bought this shoe in extra-wide and found it true to width...a great fit! Washes up well too!

Shoes for the very hard to fit -
What a wonderful, comfortable fit. My daughter has Down Syndrome and has feet about as wide as they are long. Finally a shoe that fits her feet. Thank you!! Zappos was wonderful. We had to return a couple of other styles that did not fit, but they were not detoured...they just kept on helping us.
