Very Cute! These shoes are just adorable. This is my third day wearing them, and the arches are a bit low for me. They have improved with wear, and I do have high arches, so they are probably fine for most people. The front squished my toes the first couple of days, but this has improved, as well. Be sure to wear socks or stockings the first few wears, the backs do tilt in a bit.

I ordered these in a size 36 which is supposed to be a 5-5.5 shoe size. My foot measures to a perfect size 5 and these were way too big! I would guess they are more like a size 6. I found a pair of Aldo's buried in my closet and they are size 35, which fits perfectly. Other than the size, they felt a little stiff but they needed to be broken in. They also have a nice slip resistant sole.

This shoe is very uncomfortable!
I wish that there had been more reviews written about this shoe when I bought it three months ago! They have not broken in AT ALL! I have slight bunions on both feet, but have had no problems with any of the leather shoes made by the "better brands". These shoes have hurt since day one, and have not improved. I can wear them for about an hour at a time.

Cute, but too big -
I should have known these weren't going to fit when I *was* able to slip them on without unfastening the strap. When I took a step, not only did the back of my foot lift up, but I felt like the whole shoe would fall off entirely if the strap weren't as tight as it was. I wear a 5.5 usually and ordered the 36. European-made 36s usually fit me better than American-made 5.5s. That said, these are very cute although I dislike that the rubber heel is such a drastically different color than the leather. Also, I ordered the Bordeaux and it was much browner than I'd hoped/it appeared in the picture. And, as other reviewers have noted, the sole is hard and the walk is not cushy. Perhaps this is part of the style as I've never owned shoes like this before, but I also felt like there was a "rock" to the walk… like if I weren't careful, I just might tip forward. All that said, if these had fit better, I would have had a hard time deciding whether or not to keep them, but when the smallest size is too big… well, there's not much to be done!

Look great but leather is very stiff-waiting to break in!
These shoes are darling and look great with casual pants and skirts. I've had such a great experience with Ecco shoes that I ordered two pairs. But, as others mentioned, the leather on these shoes is really stiff and presses against my heel as well as my toes. I'm hoping it will get more comfortable, but I'm still on the fence as to whether to keep. I love the way they look!
The other thing that bothers me is that the strap is hard to fasten. The holes are tiny and the braided leather doesn't give at all, forcing you to have to thread through the buckle each time you take the shoe on or off. As others mentioned, it can take a little time to put these shoes on.

Ecco is a brand I buy often. This style is a somewhat "harder" feel than most of their other styles. There is no pain, but the footbed definitely has a harder feel. Also, the strap is an issue. There is no elastic in the strap thus no "give" to the strap when putting on the shoe and the buckle is very small. Don't try to put these shoes on if you are in a big hurry to go anywhere. They are very unique and stylish. You just have to decide if you want to put up with the negative aspects of the shoe for the positive qualities of the shoe.

I love the look of this shoe and I have worn it standing for long periods of time. However, there is something about the construction of this shoe that makes it very stiff and hard. Maybe the insole would benefit from additional padding?

This is a very pretty shoe as I got compliments on them the first time I wore them. They do take a little longer to put on as you can't just slip them on and off, there is no give to the braided strap. The color is very pretty, also.

I absolutely love these shoes! They're comfortable and extremely cute. I bought the black with contrasting brown flowers and have received numerous compliments. Worn with socks, these shoes are true to size for me (8M). I might warn that these are not cushy-soft shoes; in fact there is no insole cushioning at all and they walk "hard." I probably wouldn't choose them for walking great distances, but for my desk job, or for a nice evening out, they're great.

I love these shoes. They are adorable and are really comfortable. They are great with pants or skirts! My feet are a little narrow and they feel just fine in the fit.

Very, very cute shoe. A nice change from the typical clog. I love the color and the look on my (large) feet. Zappos remains my number one place to buy shoes for my difficult feet.

These shoes look really, really cute and go well with everything, but they have zero arch support and the sizes do run a little large. I haven't worn mine out yet because I'm still trying to decide whether or not to exchange for the next size down. The strap is a little annoying in that it doesn't have a little elastic to let you get your foot in and out easily, but I can live with that.

The shoe size was a little off for me. I'm normally a 36, and their 36 was too tight and narrow for me. So I went up to the 37, which was the right width, but now just a little too long. Otherwise, comfortable, looks great and Zappos was terrific about everything. Love that free shipping!

Way, WAY too big -
I wear a size 5-5.5, and ordered the size 36, which the site told me was my size....NO WAY. The shoes were absolutely huge; in American sizing I would have guessed them to be a 6.5. I was terribly disappointed, because I fell in love with the shoe, it felt comfortable and looked great when I tried it on (except for that whole being a size too big thing). Be careful about the European size conversions here...they're not very accurate.

I ordered these just to try them out and compare with others, but decided to keep them because they felt so comfortable. Out of 6 pairs, these were the second most comfortable (Redwing Olivia shoes were the most comfortable). They don't feel like I'm wearing heels and they look cute.

Very Feminine Clog!
I have broken my left foot three times and I find it hard to fit shoes for both my feet with the left being a wide and the right a medium width. These shoes are so comfortable and go with everything. They were a little snug on the left foot, but within a couple of days they were perfect! Even with late day swelling of the feet, the width was still perfect. I love the braided strap and the beautiful flowers across the toe; it makes the shoe so versatile to wear with a pair of velour sweat pants or a dress. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone.

Very comfortable shoe, but it does not fit like a clog, it fits like a regular shoe. There is not a lot of space to wiggle your toes or anything. Delivery and service by Zappos was as always wonderful.

A good shoe.
I really love the look of the shoe. It goes well with jeans or slacks or a dress so I really like the versatile way that these shoes can be worn. I wore these shoes one day shopping and they were comfortable enough except that my toes started to cramp just a little bit during some of the day but overall they were comfortable for most of the day. I just wouldn't wear them if you plan to do a ton of walking. Probably good for work if you work at a desk job. The buckle on the side didn't bother me. At first it was hard to buckle and then after unclasping and clasping it got broken in.

Cute shoe!
I love this shoe...I wanted something comfortable for work (standing 8 hours), but I dress nice for work and wanted something that would look good also. This shoe fills both needs. The accent design on the top of the shoe is just enough and not too much. Thanks Zappos for making the job of finding just the right shoe easy!
