Need more wide shoes - I like the shoe a lot but I wish this one and many more like it came in a wider size. It is so hard for people like me to get a good looking shoe that is wide enough for our giant flipper like feet.

My husband got his first pair of these 17 years ago! Needless to say, it was time for a new pair. They look nice with jeans or shorts (no socks, that would look goofy!) and they are comfy – just classic. Perfect for boating.

A tip before you wear these -
I just bought my 2nd pair of Topsiders; the first pair is 10.5 medium width and the second is 10.5 wide width. I am a 10.5D shoe size and the medium width felt snug with socks. The wide feels better with socks. Here is my tip. Before you wear these shoes, wash them! I say this for two reasons: the new unwashed canvas will hold dirt and make them harder to keep clean later on. The second reason is the navy blue tongue and heel pad will bleed onto the white part of the shoe and laces. You can use Ivory liquid and a stiff brush to clean them and then dry them in the sun or someplace where they will dry quickly.

Shoe runs true to size. Great comfort and style.
Wear them with jeans, shorts, khakis (when going casual). Need to own a pair in every color.

Classic, durable boat shoe -
An Iconic shoe, it fits well, wide is accurate; however, I use a 2E running shoe and think the Sperry Topsider, though true to width is slightly snug. I have found this will fade as the shoe breaks in.
Washable, it is great for just about anything, especially a day on the boat, fishing, and sailing or just hanging out on the docks.

Just what my husband wanted -
The Sperry Top-Sider was exactly what my husband was wanting which was a shoe to slip into for casual wear and on his fishing trips. I must say that this was my first experience with Zappos but it definitely won't be my last!! They are terrific! The first shoe order arrived the next day but it ended up being 1/2 a size too big. I followed their return instructions and talked to customer service because I just wanted to exchange for a smaller size. They could not have made it easier! Not only that but they had the new shoes to me overnight as well. I can honestly say it is the best customer service I have ever experienced. I have already been passing the word to family and friends!

Had to try three shoes to get the fit right as it runs quite large. Once that was done it has been a great shoe.

Old is New Again -
With sneakers getting wilder looking every week, and being of baby boomer age, I wanted something classic, white, canvas, and plain. Started looking for Keds, but I guess they do not make them for men. Saw these and remembered how I loved them 30 years ago. Well I bought them, (could never find them in white in the stores), and they are just as I remember them. Very comfortable.

Classic sneaker -
I ordered this shoe for my husband to replace an old pair. It's great to be able to find a classic shoe that has worked well in the past. He likes these sneakers for warm weather casual wear and for light yard work.

OK in general -
Not bad, kinda like a slipper. You need to add arch support and glue it in. The beak is kinda long too.

Amazing Boat Shoe!!!
This is my first pair of Sperry’s. I love canvas shoes. I decided to get the white ones, but let it be known that these shoes are an off-white color, but they are still awesome. I usually wear a 10.5, but in this I wear a 10. They tend to run about a half size too big, so order accordingly. I have somewhat of a skinny foot, so I got the small width ones, and I am so glad I did. The medium ones feel a little big. The small width fits very snugly.
But anyway, they feel great, look great, and I can tell they are a high quality shoe for a good price. Buy these shoes.

Too wide -
I typically wear these (narrow width) without socks and have found the last two pairs I purchased to be too wide. Sport sock are too thick to be comfortable. I have had to resort to lightweight orthodic inserts to keep the shoes snug fitting. My older Top-Sider canvas shoes fit perfectly. I'm going to try one more pair to see if Sperry has returned to their old, better fitting lasts.

Never Again!!!
I bought two pair of the canvas deck shoe last July and by early September both pair had holes in BOTH soles!!! I am so disgusted with them. Many people ask me where I found them, but I warned anybody who asked about the poor quality and would not recommend them. I found out the hard way, would never purchase them again.

Great looking, well fit shoe for narrow feet -
I bought this for my husband who is very picky about his shoes, both in terms of look and fit. His feet are very narrow. We also do not like the casual look of most sneakers. These are beautifully made. They are simple in design which we love. Another reviewer suggested getting a half size larger than your normal size. We followed the advice and everything worked out well.

Where do I begin? I'm still in awe over the seamless transaction with Zappos. I got home from sailing on a Saturday night, went on line and ordered a new pair of deck shoes. I had a confirmation that evening, an e-mail Sunday morning that the order had been processed, and an e-mail that afternoon that the order had been shipped. My new deck shoes were on my doorstep Monday afternoon, I still can't believe it. Zappos has been the topic of conversation in some of my social circles, and my son and a friend have placed orders with your firm. I don't know how you do it, but you have mastered the art of distribution. Do you have any interest in taking over the U. S. Postal Service?
