The Velcro started to rip off two weeks after we received the shoes. Otherwise they look new. I would not recommend these for toddler use, and I intend to contact Zappos' customer service on Monday to get a return authorization.

Had to get a half size up, then fit perfectly with and without socks. Looks great in the blue and yellow color. My 7 year old son uses his Dozers daily at his summer day camp which includes daily swimming. He has not had to bring an extra pair for walking around the pool. These shoes are not water-proof though. We had to dunk them in water to get grime off from stepping in mud puddles during a canoe trip. They took a day to dry in humid Maine summer weather. But after they dried they looked good as new. My daughter and I have the same pair: hers in pink, mine in the women's mermaid color. We also had to switch to a half size up (speedy return processing from Zappos as usual). They they tend to run a little short, although they are very roomy in the toe box. Three other positive points compared to similar amphibious fisherman sandals (Keens), are that they don't tend to make your feet look like duck feet, they don't have a funny smell, and they are much lighter (I ordered a pair of Keens before I settled on my Dozer).

My 5 year old son wanted Tevas after I got mine. I did not even think they made them in his size, but I looked on Zappos and sure enough, they do! So of course I got them and must say they are nice, the Dozer is a good all around sandal that he can wear with play clothes and also look good with dressier clothes. He is very happy to have Tevas like Mom and Dad. Thank you Zappos!

I was very excited about getting this shoe, as I love my own Dozers. They are nice looking and flexible. But the fit seems oddly snug -- even though my 3-year old son wears the Teva Psyclone a whole size smaller (size 9). I got the size 10 Dozers and while it looked like he had enough room, in fact his big toe was brushing the top. And he complained that they were uncomfortable after about an hour and had marks all over his feet. So maybe a half size bigger would work, but I can't believe that he'd have to go for a size 11. I wish Teva would get its sizes straight! Unfortunately I wrote his name in them and had him walk outside in them, so I can't return them. He has pretty much refused to wear them so we are relying on the Psyclones, which he loves (I just wanted to give him something with a bit more toe protection).

Great so far...
We live in Ohio and I bought these shoes in March, so it will be a few months before we really get to put them to the test, but my son loves the look and says he can run real fast in them! He even talked me into wearing them to school (with socks) when there wasn't snow on the ground. It was quite the fashion statement.

Very comfortable and good looking -
This is my son's second pair of Tevas. He says they are very comfortable. They are very well made. His last pair got handed down with plenty of wear left. They are a good looking shoe. What a nice shade of blue. They are good protection for feet when climbing around and keep his feet cool.

Broke after just a few weeks -
My eight year old son loved these sandals and I did too. He was devastated when the hook holding the adjustable strap came apart from the sandal after just a few weeks. The hook on the other sandal is starting to separate as well. This appears to be a design flaw to me - these hooks should be anchored to the sandal firmly enough to withstand the normal tightening of the Velcro strap. I am pretty disappointed. - This is a lot of money down the drain in a very short amount of time.

These shoes are great!! They are worn in and out of the lake. My son would rather wear them than gym shoes. It's the first pair he grabs even if we are going out for dinner. A must have for the summer.

Great for kids -
I got these sandals for my son, I had to exchange it a couple times but the service was so quick it was not a problem at all. I think because of the design, I had to order a bigger size for my son. Overall, we love them. The toe protection is great for kids.

STINKY FEET!
I loved these sandals for my son when we first bought them from the store. They looked, fit and felt great on him. He loved them too... until about a week later when his feet started to stink in them! I think this is the case for any enclosed sandal. He started to get so upset not understanding why his feet were so stinky. I bought these for the extra support for my son to run around in, but i'm going back to the Psyclone next summer.

I bought these for my 8 yr old to take on a cruise which "ported" in many different locations and many different excursions. I wanted his toes kept safe. He, like his mother, complains about the comfort of a shoe (our feet have a refined "palate") and yet not one shake of his head. He wore them the entire (8 days) time. They do however run VERY true to size. They fit perfectly, "like a glove" which is not always desirable with the hopes of getting another season out of them.

My 8 y.o. son loves these. Great outdoor shoe. Closed enough to feel like a shoe, open enough to feel like a sandal. Comfy even with socks. Look good on.

Great shoe, but heel blisters -
Got these for my camper who needed closed-toe water shoes to be wet in all day. These shoes look terrific, and my son has worn them comfortably for partial days when they are dry. But he gets horrible blisters on the heels when worn wet. The heel portion comes up rather high, and seems to curve inward at the top, making for an ouchy situation, especially when wet. Too bad -- $ down the drain.

Great summer shoe!
Bought these for my 5 year old son. They are definitely lighter and less clunky than the Keens. They are well-cushioned, were worn right away without socks and there was not one mark on his feet after many hours of running around.

I ordered these for my 5 1/2 son. He is a 10.5 or an 11. I went with toddler’s size 11. These shoes are fabulous. They went right out of the box onto his feet and he wore them all day. The next day he had field day and wore them again. No blisters, very comfy, cute. They are sturdy and yet flexible like a sandal. He doesn't wear socks with them.

My boys love them -
Definitely, the look appealed to my boys, 7 and 8. I think it's a great mix between a sandal and a closed toe shoe. According to my sons they're very comfortable and so far, we didn't have any blisters etc. Very satisfied with price, quality, and look.
However, there was a big difference between the toddler size (13) and youth size 1. It was a bit difficult to find the right size because of that.

Great for "difficult" feet -
My son is thin, but has wide feet. We have tried so many sandals and this is the only one that fits right. My son also has difficulty with balance and this shoe made him feel like he is walking with no shoes at all! Soft, flexible sole, nothing rubs or irritates.

Love them!
These shoes are great for my son's extra wide foot! They are light weight, and are not a "clumsy" shoe. We look forward to seeing him run around in them all spring and summer.

Rugged and cool, but wear socks the first time...
Got these for our 4-yr old so he could run around in Mexico with support and still be cool in a sandal. The first day he wore them (running around for only about 30 minutes) he got a huge blister on his ankle so we couldn't put them back on for days. So maybe wear socks the first few times to break them in?

I purchased these shoes for my son for a trip to Disneyworld, which means lots of walking. He wore them almost everyday and did not break them in before left considering they are a summer shoe and we live in the Chicago area. He said they were very comfortable and had no problems with rubbing or blisters. These shoes are great and I would order them again when they are too small. Zappos is the best place for finding sandals in the winter.

Great "rugged" design without being fully enclosed. My son has large feet (thick) and can't wear a lot of closed shoe designs, but these fit great.

I live in Texas, and with his order going to Michigan, he has to deal with much colder weather, he has a greater need for his comfort in their colder weather.
