DH Loves these Boots -
I tried to save some money this year and I ordered the Old Friend boot instead of Uggs for my DH for Christmas. He goes through a pair of Uggs every two years and he is really hard on his shoes. He loves these boots more than his Uggs. They ran about a 1/2 size small and he has been wearing socks, which he prefers in the winter. We live in a warm climate and most people wear similar style boots all year round. The sole is has a heavier construction than Uggs and so far the boots are wearing well. I think I will stick with this brand and see if they hold up. I am going to order a pair for myself in black. I wish the women's shoes didn't have the “OF” logo on the back of the boot.

Comfy and warm at half the price -
After skiing all day, all you want to do is get your feet into something comfortable and warm. I bought these boots for that purpose. I have a really wide foot and these are one of the few items which fit comfortably. I now wear them all the time at home in place of slippers. I was considering Uggs, but these Old Friends were more than half the price of Uggs. A good value!

Great! As good as Uggs but a better price!!!
I bought these Old Friend boots for my husband after much research (he is very picky). He was "swooned" by how comfortable they are and he was really thrilled by how easy they are to take on & off. (Basically he just slides his feet in without even having to bend down....way to go)! And the price was so fair...recommend to all...loved the free shipping too.

Old friend indeed -
Warm without socks; should have ordered size smaller to wear without socks, but a good fit with. Wear them around the house and to the yard to walk the dogs. A little bulky looking. So far a good casual boot for the $.

Don't Separate Us!!
Bought them a year ago & hadn't worn much (felt tight). 3 weeks ago it got down into the 20's & put them on. After 1 full day I hate to take them off & must to go to work (they would get too dirty!). I even wear them to town, to shovel snow & all the time around the house!! My feet usually sweat a lot & don't w/ them (I wear thin footies). Tells me they're the real thing!! I Got my Dad a pair b/c his feet are always cold- now he's converted. He at times wears them to bed!! 1st time they've been warm in years!

Hubby Loves 'Em -
I have been buying Uggs for my husband for 12 years. I have lots of pix of him in his boots and very little else... has to be one of my favorite views so when they wear out I go shopping. This time I got him these "Old Friends" at half the price of Uggs and he LOVES THEM. And they look great on him. Thank you Zappos!

I ordered these as a gift for my husband. After reading several reviews I ordered 1/2 up; unfortunately these boots were waaaaaay too small. He couldn't even get his foot into the boot.
I was so bummed because I bought them as a Xmas gift. Every year I just seem to miss the mark on Xmas gifts.
I guess we will be trying Uggs next :(

I bought these for my father for Christmas. They fit, they were comfortable, warm, and with the outdoor sole, would be more functional than his old slippers. The one downside is that the opening is a bit narrow so it took some effort to get his foot in.

This Old Friend was great for my dear old dad!
I bought these for my father for Father's Day and he's almost 87 years old! He tried them on and I can hardly get him out them! He loves them and wears them around the house as well as into town with his jeans. I told him to let his jeans bunch up around the tops of the boots and sure enough, he's doing that and stylin' down the street every day and loving every minute of it! Otherwise, he'd be in his tennis shoes or his western boots! He's typically a 9-1/2 C and says these size 10's fit him very comfortably. He wears them with his white crew socks.

The Best -
These boots are the best. My feet were always cold until I recieved these boots as a gift. They are so comfortable I could wear them all day. Being in the mid west were the weather can get pretty cold every one needs these.

Soft and cozy -
Haven't had any cold weather yet, but they sure feel warm, soft and cozy, especially without socks, which is how I plan on wearing them. The length is right, but they are a little big on my calves, so they flop around a little when I walk, but that's not really a problem, since they're so comfy. Bring on winter!

The boots are wonderful, my boyfriend loves them.

Very warm, comfortable, well-made boots. No need for socks. Do not accumulate foot odor. Not suitable for outdoors. Good cushioned sole. Invest in a suede cleaning kit. Removable liners tend to move about. Glue them in place with silicone caulk. An excellent mid-priced boot. Very true to size. Effective in a wide range of temperature conditions. Real sheepskin fleece.

The boots look good and felt great, but after several wearings the inside fuzz began to come off and my heel was rubbing against raw leather, causing a blister. The stitching along the sole came out after one week too.

A Serendipitous Find -
Five years of constant punishment through winter storms and summer chores left my Uggs sorely needing replacment. For a month now I've worn them constantly in the snow and ice of a Maine winter and am completely satisfied with their comfort and performance.

I know this is an UGG knock off, but after 3 weeks of wear the footbed liner is already coming out. Not what I had hoped for $70 boots. Otherwise I love them.

This actually was my second choice, but the first choice did not have the right size. I am very glad that was so because my man really likes these boots; they're nice and toasty warm. He says they spoiled him as far as keeping his feet dry and warm.

Wonderful! These are the most comfortable boots I have ever put on! I like the wide back, plenty of room for my achilles tendon. The lining is so soft and perfectly supports my high insoles. Bring on the cold weather, I'm ready!

He's retiring on the 30th after 32 years with UPS (never took a sick day, never missed work, and never had an accident or injury.
