Looked several places to find the Ecco Classic Saddle GTX model I found it at Zappos. The customer service was excellent. Got the shoes right away. Positive experience all the way around.

Perfect Golf Shoe -
While there is a just a tad of heel slippage because European sizing can be somewhat different, these felt great. Wonderful support. They fit true to size for me, that is I am just a bit bigger than 11.5 and an 11-11.5 (45) fit me well. They really help me feel balanced when swinging and are very comfortable for walking the course.

Ecco's are the only true golf shoe.
I have been impressed with the ECCO shoes since the first two pairs I purchased several years ago. Ready to use on the course right out of the box. You need to know your European size and then with the consistency in the shoe there should be no problems ordering/buying. The shoe holds up so well. I own 5 pair. My first pair has finally developed a leak but after 7+ years of no leaks that ain't bad and that provides me justification for the higher price. I have tried many brands of golf shoes but none have come close to the quality and lasting power of ECCO's! I use orthotics for heel spurs that are in remission so I cannot comment on arch support. I enjoy ECCOs so much on the golf course I have even purchased a pair of ECCO dress shoes for work.

My husband LOVES his new golf shoes! He doesn't like change, but these he could put right on and be comfortable in them. The size & width are true & the style is pleasing.

Fit -
European sizing is hard to compare to American sizing. Trying some on first is a good idea. The golf shoe itself is excellent.

Wore them for a long 18 holes of golf right out of the box. Stood up well and no blisters or anything...great pair of comfortable shoes.

Great golf shoes with a three year warranty. Very comfortable golf shoes. They are a bit expensive but worth the investment.

Loyal Ecco Buyer - Classic Saddle GTX -
The Classic Saddle GTX's are decent but I expected more from Ecco. This is my 3rd pair of Ecco golf shoes. One major problem, the toe box is not as wide as previous Ecco’s and the narrowing of the toe box has led to painful pinky toes after many rounds (I walk all my rounds). Cushioning is excellent, the look is classic not great, and the waterproof seal seems to be holding up well so far, only half a season though. I play all my rounds very first thing in the morning so a tight Gore-Tex waterproof seal is very important to me. The sole is excellent; the hard plastic is very easy to clean after a round. I normally wear an 11.5, so I got a 45. I use to wear 46s but Ecco’s sizing seems to have taken a strange turn, there is no consistency anymore, and these in 46 were a joke, as I ordered a pair in 46 at first. Overall, wouldn't buy this model again, not $75-100 dollars better than the new Dry Joys.

Comfort and Style -
Wore them for the first time in Indian Wells, CA. at Stone Eagle. The course is very dramatic with inclines. These shoes were very comfortable the whole round and continue to be one of the best feeling shoes I have owned.

This is the best shoes for golf and walking; keeps your feet dry in wet areas. I would not use any other shoes for golf and I tried them all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding. Most comfortable golf shoe right out of the box. I played 6 rounds in 3 days with the shoes and my feet felt great. True to size. Great looks, excellent materials, and production quality.

I ordered these for my husband, an avid golfer. He absolutely loves them, says they are so comfortable. He normally wears a 10.5 so I ordered an 11 and they fit him fine. Well worth the investment, and will definitely order these again.

I own several pairs of Ecco shoes although this is my first golf pair. Ecco makes the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. From the very first step it feels like these shoes are broken in and that you have been wearing them for a few months. The gore-tex is great for early morning dew or rain soaked courses. For me, Ecco has always run a bit big. I usually were size 10 but with Ecco's I buy size 43; about 9 to 9.5

I had heard Ecco was the most comfortable golf shoes made. This pair would confirm those feelings, though I have found some Ecco's can run a little wider than others. Great quality & comfort makes this an excellent shoe.

Very comfortable but Ecco rep told me if you want wider shoe get the Hydromax model. Its made on a wider last.

 |  | This was the easiest, most pleasant online buying experience I have ever encountered. I ordered a 7 1/2 and it was too big, you guys were out of a 7, which is the size I needed. I had 2 days until the dance and was in a bind. I actually found a phone number to call and the CSR was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I thought I would have to pay to get another pair sent out, but they transferred my credit and sent another pair via next day delivery. It was delivered as promised and fit perfect. I returned the other pair via the instructions and the whole process was wonderful. Thank you for great customer service!!!
