My daughter has been wearing All Star hi-tops in size 13 for six months or more, but the 13's in these feel right off her foot. The 12 was fine, but Zappos.com unlike many other retailers carries the half sizes.

Great Looking.....but -
Bought this shoe for my 6 yr. old grandson. He wears a 12 1/2 so I bought the 13. It was WAY too large!!!! He was very disappointed because he thought this was a very cool shoe and he liked the idea of not having to tie it. Will be returning it because of size. Probably a good idea to talk to customer service before you buy to get the best size.

Converse Kids Chuck Taylor® All Star® Slip in Blue -
My 9-year old has been wanting a pair of these since tail-end of summer. I ordered these a 1/2 size larger - a little worried 'cos all the reviews recommended ordering down a size in men's and keeping true size in women's, but I gambled 'cos she has broader feet. When she tried them on she said they were too big, so we re-ordered in 2.5 (her real size)... Glad I hadn't returned the size 3. Size 2.5 fitted in length but just too narrow for my little broad footed lass! We wound up keeping the size 3. (Thanks Zappos for seamlessly canceling the return order in progress! Great customer service as aye.) She was going to wear them with socks but, so far, hasn't bothered and they seem to fit her fine. She's never out of them at the weekends!

Easy, hip, and frayed -
I knew this before I bought them, but it only takes a few days of wearing for the cloth section by the eyelet holes to start fraying and looking worn. I believe they're intentionally designed this way, and to me, it adds to the charm of these shoes. All the cool kids are wearing 'em this way. ;-)

I must say that I looked everywhere for this color shoe for my daughter. When I found them on Zappos I ordered them that day. They came the next and my daughter was thrilled. Zappos followed up with email to check that all was ok. I will continue to use your service all the time!

Our family has always been a fan of Chuck Taylors. They are cool and comfortable for the summer. I loved the idea of a slip on, but have been disappointed as the fabric around the eyeholes has shredded. I would purchase with laces next time as we’ve never had any complaint with them.

No Laces -- Yay!!
I ordered these for my daughter and should have paid attention to the reviews. They do run a good size bigger than normal so I exchanged them. I actually bought a size and a half smaller the second time and I'm glad I did. With the lightweight fabric, and the elastic inset I figured they'd be "broken in" in no time. My daughter loves the shoes though. Thank goodness for overnight shipping and free delivery both ways. She was disappointed the night she tried the first pair on and had the replacements THE NEXT DAY!!! THANK YOU ZAPPOS!

A full size larger then marked -
My daughter wears a size 13 so I figured I would order a 13.5 so they lasted through the summer being that a 1/2 size bigger measures only 1/8 of an inch per Zappos customer service. These shoes run very, very big. After ordering and returning sizes 13.5, 13 and 12.5 we finally settled on the size 12! Good thing for free overnight shipping and free returns!!!

These shoes were almost perfect for my seven year old son. They were easy to slip on and comfortable. However, after the first day of wear all the edges became very frayed. I used some Dritz Fray Check along all the seams after trimming of the stringy mess. That did the trick!

Too cute!
My son loves these and it's a bonus that he can put them on himself. He wears a size 12 right now and these are a touch bigger than all of his other size 12 shoes, but not so big that his foot slips out. These seem great for everyday "around town" wear, but maybe not for extended periods of running around/sports. Like I said in the title, they are so cute looking.

This is a wonderful shoe- great price and lots of style. My daughter has these in about five colors! They seem to run rather large - almost a full-size, but they are very comfortable and easy to put on.

Great all around shoe -
It’s hard to find shoes that are affordable, fashionable and practical in these smaller sizes. This shoe is all three. The no-lace style is fashion forward and really convenient for the little guys who don't know how to tie their shoes yet. Very pleased all around with this purchase.

All Stars -
I am an adult with small, wide feet (5.5 EEE). Converse all Stars Run big. I found that the smallest adult size was still to big for me so I bought the largest child's size. They fit perfectly! In general Converse have no arch support but I knew this going into it so I will probably purchase inserts to add some support.

I would have to call it a great shoe with fabulous ease and convenience. It's always nice to have a shoe that's easy to put on and off when it comes to a five year old. He can feel good about doing it by himself.
