A disappointment for running -
If you are a runner, I recommend buying a different shoe with more cushion and more lateral stability. I run long distances on trails - I really had to work at not twisting ankles in this shoe due to the narrow heel outsole design. Also, it doesn't have enough cushion for long distance. Treads wore out more quickly than I would expect in a quality, high price shoe. On the upside, it's lightweight and didn't cause blisters.

Great trail shoe -
Very comfortable and makes running on trails easy. I find the colors to be a little too "manly" but it does the job.

Desert hiking -
I hike up mountain trails in the Phoenix area and I'm old and have lots of arthritis, so I need a good trail shoe. This shoe is great on rocky trails - hardly feel the pointy rocks underfoot. Good traction on the loose rocks on the downhill. Joints don't ache (much) after the hike. I don't need support but do need cushioning and these do the job. I have a high arch and high instep and they fit that well. A little boxier, roomier in the toe than my old Asics, which is good. I ordered the same as I do w/ any athletic shoe, 1/2 size up from a dress shoe.

Very cute & Comfortable -
My husband got a pair first since he has neuropathy; he said his feet have never felt better. So I had to find out for myself and I agree! Have sent several others to purchase this #1 shoe of the year!
