Great shoe for the price -
I purchased these a little over a month ago and wear them daily. I'm very hard on shoes, and they have held up better than my three previous pairs of Kenneth Cole Reactions. As for the new shoe smell, it was gone after a week. Not sure what all the fuss was about. They do however run about a half size too big.

I bought this shoe because I love the sleek, classy, square toe look. I never bought boots before, but I decided to try this one. I received the boots the very next business day! When I received them, they looked much better than they do on the website. I was, and still am, very pleased!

Look like clown shoes, square toe is much too wide.
Smell weird. Not too bad overall, for the price. I am sending these back due to the style. Would look much better if the toe was thinner.

Shoe is good for what you pay -
The shoe does fit a little wide in the front and, for me, the size was a lot larger than normal. Also, it’s true what the others have said about the smell, it’s very strong and overpowering! So it would be a good idea to let them air out before use. It looks great and goes with everything. If you’re looking for something that looks good but don’t want to pay too much, then you can’t lose with this one.

I could have gone up to a size 16, this shoe was not in the 16-17 range. I think Zappos should come out with larger sizes of dress shoe, after all we have giants out here, and well dress too.

Zengara Boots -
Smells a bit, kept it out in the open for three weeks still smells, nothing obnoxious but does smell. Really good pair of boots otherwise. Good looks and great fit, too.

A "B" grade!
Overall, you can't beat the price, but they're not the greatest quality. They look fantastic, but the leather is kind of cheap when you look closely. Although considering not too many people in the club or office are going to take them off your foot and examine them, you can pull off the much more expensive look. I did, however, receive a ton of compliments on them when I wore them, which has been only once since I purchased them. On a side note, this is my third pair of Zengara shoes and they all have the same cheap leather smell, which seems to wear away after a couple wears.

Lighting Fast Shipping, these shoes are lady magnets. I got so much action in these shoes, it's like driving a Austin Martin, but paying the price for a Chevy. Very comfortable, fit and finish above average for the price. I haven't experienced the smell yet, but a couple days in the garage will remedy that!

This shoe is REALLY nice for the money. Greta fit, really nice shiny leather and very comfy. However, they STINK. I think it's the rubber sole, but I’ve been wearing them to work for 4 days and they are becoming embarrassing. The first day both myself and a co-worker got a headache from the fumes, and although it is dying off a little, they still smell. I don't know what to do to make it go away!
Other than that, 5*s!

Overall I believe this is great shoe for the price, even though after just a week of wear, I had it taken to a shoe repair store. Reason being, I had to reinforce the straps on the back of the shoes, as I assumed they were stronger than they first appeared to be, and thus snapped the stitching while pulling up my shoes. Also, I would recommend having the shoes weather-proofed as soon as possible, because I developed moisture stains after just a few wears.

Handsome boot -
First-time buyer. Very pleased with this Chelsea boot. Looks GREAT. Nice finish and lines make this a pretty dressy boot. Fits nice for me, but I have a wide foot. Feels more comfortable than I thought it would too. Was delivered surprisingly quickly, especially considering it was ordered just before Christmas.

Good shoe for the price -
This was my first purchase from Zappos and from the Zengara line of shoes. The shoe looks sharp and actually makes my foot look slim compared to some wide cut models. The overall quality of the shoe is good, but I did chip the front edge of the sole against a raised sidewalk the first week I had them. It is a good shoe for the price that looks sharp, cleans up well, and is comfortable to work in.

Sharp but loose -
This shoe fits strangely: the toe is long and wide, so the front does not fit "true to size" but the heel does. It also is "breaking in" (creasing) very quickly. Looks great on; good value for price.

Not what I expected.
This is definitely "NOT" an airport safe shoe! That is the reason I purchased the shoe in the first place. I would have sent them back but, I HAD to wear them for a week, therefore probably not being able to return them. I like the look though.

Amazing boot -
This boot by Zengara is the best boot I have bought. The price is insanely good for what u get. I have high dollar boots (Prada, Gucci etc) I wear this boot more than my other ones. It looks and feels like any high dollar boot, very comfy, good support and is overall a amazing boot for the price. They even come in separate bags which is great. The only negative on the boot is the leather or wax they put on the shoe smells horrible, u have to leave them in your garage for a few days and wax them, then the smell goes away. I plan on buying more in different colors. Buy this boot before they are all gone.

These shoes are freaking sweet.
What a great modern alternative to the boring dress shoe! I've gotten more compliments than I can count... They also make a great commanding "clack" sound when you walk, to boot (okay, pun intended). This is the first dress boot I've ever owned, so I can't relate the fit to anything. That said, I had to return my original order and get the next smallest size, which fits just fine. I'm thinking there should naturally be extra space around the ankle, so don't be alarmed if it seems "too roomy" there.

I have an odd size foot and I can fit somewhere between a 13D to a 14EEE. I had found this shoe at a shoe store when I was out of town for a trip. I am on my feet in a retail store up to 50 hours a week and I need a comfortable, stylish shoe. I am also very hard on my shoes, so I wanted to get two of the same shoe eventually. This was not possible since the shoe store only had one and they don't do any ordering. Thank goodness Zappos had the same shoe! I new it would fit and I am extremely pleased that Zappos would e-mail me when the product I wanted was in and it came fast!!

Great price!
After they break in they are comfortable but I recommend adding a insert to increase comfort. Great shoe for the price but not as wide as I prefer, they are a slim looking shoe so baggy slacks make them appear very narrow. Overall they are still worth the money!

However, with two kids and an extremely hectic work schedule I was not able to do that and needed to buy shoes for my kid’s tennis lessons.
