Purchased this pair of shoes as I wanted a casual flip flop heel with comfort. LOVE the shoes! Took a couple of days to break in one shoe, but now they are so comfortable. I have several pair of Reef Sandals and I would choose Ocean Minded any day over Reef. The color is not as pictured, as they are sand in color and not the oily brown that I expected. However, I don't care as their comfort outweighs the color. Have had them a couple of weeks and they withstood walking the strip at Las Vegas several times over!

Nice everyday flip flop -
I am getting ready to buy my second pair of these - the first pair just gave out on me (the fabric between the toe tore completely from the base). But they lasted 2 years with pretty much daily summertime use, getting wet, sandy, etc. Not bad for the price. They still looked very nice after all that wear. I like that they have narrow leather straps and they have just a slight heal, both making them a little dressier than the average flip flop, but still casual. The previous reviewer is correct in that they can produce a "squeak" sound sometimes, but not bad enough to be embarrassing. I'd say they run almost a half size small.

Ocean-Minded Del Mar flip -
I like these flips because they look great, they're made well and I think they will last. There is one small problem...when my feet are a little sweaty, they slide slightly on the flip which causes an annoying squeak, but his could happen in any sandal that has a smooth footbed. I think I've solved the problem by rubbing a little talcum powder well onto the soles of my feet. After long periods of wearing these flips, the talcum powder might have to be re-applied. They are a very light-weight and comfortable flip with good arch support. I have an 8.5 foot so I ordered a half size up to 9...perfect. Thanks Zappos for the BEST service ever!

This is my second pair of OM Del Mar. I bought my first pair three years ago and now need new ones. They fit about 1/2 smaller - I wear an eight, but these seem to fit a smidge smaller - but not enough for me to not buy them. They are comfortable, with some support, nice size heel, thin strap is feminine, but also casual.

Nice surprise -
I wanted a brown flip flop that was not completely flat and had a thin strap. This shoe fit the requirements; however, I have not owned a pair of Ocean Minded shoes before. They had more cushion than I expected and are much more comfortable than Rainbows. I'm very pleased!

Great flips -
I just needed a flip flop that looked better than the cheep rubber ones I wear around the house. These were ready to wear with no rubs or blisters, in fact I spent the week end walking around SoHo and my feet were great. It helps that they are eco-friendly too. Too bad they don't come in a bigger variety of colors.

Ocean Minded Del Mar Review -
I recently bought these for my fiancé. She has owned a pair of Reefs, which lasted her a few years. She definitely likes the look and feel of these sandals much better than her Reefs. The narrow strap and high heel were the exact attributes that she was looking for. Great looking sandal for the beach and a casual night out. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable flip flop -
I was looking for a flip flop that had a little heel and wasn't totally flat. I like the way the Reefs look, but this flip flop looks very similar and it does have the heel I was looking for. They do take a few days of wearing for break in, but once you do, you'll love them.

Usually wear a 7 1/2, but ordered an 8 based on other reviews here. Mistake, had to exchange them for my proper size. This sandal fits perfectly and is a bit more "hip" than most slippers like Reef & Roxy.

These are great and comfortable!
This is my 2nd year of wearing them and they just get better with time. The slight heel gives good heel cushioning, they are just plain good and comfortable. I would highly recommend them. Really wish they also made them in black!

Just what I was looking for -
This flip-flop is exactly what I was looking for - feminine yet practical. I need something for everyday running around that is comfortable, but more stylish than the standard flip-flop. The narrow straps and slight heel are perfect. The straps were a little stiff at first, but even a day at the zoo didn't create any serious friction or blisters (I have a low arch, but I can see how someone with a high arch may experience more discomfort with the straps). I usually wear an 8 1/2 and the 9s fit me just barely. I originally bought a pair of Reefs, but they were not flattering - wide straps and flat, they looked just like my husbands shoes. They are now relegated to the closet in favor of these.

Very comfortable, they are perfect for narrow feet. I had to order a half size up from what I normally wear. Also, the more they age, the better the leather looks!

Not as perfect as I had hoped -
Luckily I ordered a FULL SIZE LARGER as was recommended, and they fit perfectly. Very cute flip-flop. The red is great shade of red. When I put them on I thought I had fallen in love. However, once I wore them for an entire day, my feet were aching. Even being an avid flip-flip wearer, the strap between my toe hurt, and the bottom of my feet just plain 'ol hurt. Maybe I was expecting too much from them. I'll definitely wear them again (very cute) I'll just be more selective about where.

Great Shoe - A little Small -
Loved the deep, worn red color of the strap and sole. However, the shoe runs small. I'm a 6 1/2 to a 7 and the 7 is on the small side. I kept them because the 8 would be too big.

Flipping for these flip flops -
These flip flops are so comfy! The Ocean Minded Del Mar has a bit higher heel than the Reef Costa Rica, which I normally purchase. Love that, but they run small.

I really like this flip flop. The reviews I read before buying the shoe really helped me decide what size to buy. I wear an 8-8 1/2. The reviews stated that the shoe ran small and it does. I bought a size 9 and it fits perfect. It is comfortable.

Great thongs -
These thongs are very comfortable and sturdy. The red is a blue red, which is the perfect red I was looking for. I wish they had more colors.

Loved the look - but -
Loved this shoe, however they run very small. I wear a 7 - 71/2 - I ordered an 8 and a 9. The 8 was small and the 9 was too big. Too bad they don't have 1/2 sizes in this shoe.
