Loves them!
My 5 year old had these as part of a Halloween costume - and they're big enough to last through spring puddle jumping! He loves them. They do stink for a while, but once aired out seemed fine.

Super cute boots!
This rain boot is adorable! I bought it as part of a Halloween costume which it was perfect for, and now it's his favorite to wear on rainy days and to go puddle jumping. It is a bit big, but he has room to grow and will be able to enjoy it that much longer. The colors are vivid and the handles make it easy for my 3 yr. old to pull on and off himself.

Not just for a rainy day -
I bought these boots because I needed waterproof boots for my 4 year old son who was going to horse riding camp. He loved them as soon as he saw them - in fact, I couldn't get him to take them off even after his rides. I loved them because they have a 90 degree angled heel, which is key for riding stirrups. Also because they are easy to clean and no shoe polish necessary (unlike the leather riding boots).

My 4-yr-old LOVES his new boots!
I can't attest to the comfort (though he hasn't complained) but my little firefighter LOVED these from the moment he opened the box! They are very well made and well worth the money!

Excellent Rubber Boot -
My 7 1/2 month boy likes the shoe. He likes to play with them because of the color and he does not mind wearing them compared to many other shoes. It is a quality made boot compared to Carters or other clothing brands that I have seen. My husband and I like the pull-up straps, so they are easy to put on an infant child (without twisting their little legs).

Noxious Fumes...
If you have plenty of time to let these boots air out before you bring them into your home and put them on your child, go for it. The only redeeming quality of these boots is their firefighter appeal, otherwise, if you need some serious, high quality & classic, Fun "water boots", go with the Kamik Kids "Stomp" or any other Kamik kids boot for that matter! They are great! Made in Canada! And have been perfect for my active boy.

The Best Boots Ever -
Loved these boots...I'm ordering a new pair for my 2-1/2 year old son (Firefighter Ty). They wore out completely - but I agree with another comment that it is likely the result of the fact that rain boots aren't intended for EVERY day wear. =)

This was a great purchase. My son loved them so very much. "I have boots like mommy", he says. My daughter, his twin wants a pair now too. Not too much of a concern is the gray reflective coloring wears off relatively easy & the padded insert came out. He gets compliments everywhere he wears them.

Happy 3 Year old -
My son, aka Fireman Joe, LOVES these boots. He is on pair number 3 as we have gotten a new pair everytime he has outgrown the old one. They have cracked, but I am sure that is from overuse, after all rainboots aren’t supposed to be worn with shorts or on a daily basis.

I love the look of these on my 4 yr old son. He loves them too. They do tend to fall off if he is running, but I think all boots do that.
The silver strips on the side seem to be peeling off a little. But overall, they are cute!

Disappointed, Poor Quality -
The plethora of positive reviews astounds me. My son's boots cracked and began disintegrating within a week of purchase, with moderate use in springtime temperatures, mud, and puddles. I'll not buy THIS brand again!
Note to manufacturers: WIDE SIZES PLEASE!

Fire Chief Boots -
I bought 2 pairs of these "fireman boots" for my twin grandsons who are 4 years old & love fire trucks, rescue vehicles, and of course mud puddles. They wore them to the firehouse pancake breakfast & felt like "real" firemen.
The boots are holding up in the puddles & backyard mud but...one of the pull-on handles broke off when Tyler pulled them on. Maybe they could reinforce them a little more for 4 year old use.
Overall my experience w/ Zappos was excellent...they arrived the next day as promised & we were very pleased w/ the product.

Boy's fireman boot -
I took a chance and sent this boot to my grandson who is very particular about his apparel even at 5 years old. His phone call to thank me made my month!! His mother is very pleased and said my grandson wanted to sleep with his boots on in case of an emergency. His mother said they fit true to size and the quality will hold up against my grandson's very active behavior. The boots are truly realistic looking and help my grandson to honor real "grown-up firefighters". Thank you Zappos.

Great kid’s galoshes -
My son loves these galoshes, even though they are too big for his feet, we bought them big so he'll be able to use them; he walks around fine in them. He also loves wearing them - everyday. They are stylish and the reflective stripes are a plus!

My kids love them!
My two boys 5 and 7 are firefighters to be... They love to pretend play and dress like the real ones. That's why they loved this boots, they look so real and they feel like the brave firefighters...

A real hit!
My son loves these boots. He actually places them beside his bed before he goes to sleep. His grandfather is a real firefighter and my son loves to wear "real" fire fighter boots. Quality is superb!

My 6 year old son loves his rain boots!
I could not find his size in our city in any store so I was ecstatic to find them on Zappos.

 |  | I just had to write you about what an incredible experience it has been recently to deal with your company. I had bought a pair of rather expensive Mephisto sandals at the turn of the year that kept cutting my feet and giving me blisters. After wearing them 3 or 4 times, I gave up, threw them in the closet and figured I'd have to donate them… I ordered a new set of Mephistos that arrived this week and fit perfectly - no blisters, no problems. Along the way, I had a different pair sent that also fit wrong and those I sent back. Each time postage was paid BOTH ways, which I found remarkable, and the new shoes even came second-day air at no extra cost. I know this is standard policy for you folks, but it blew my mind. And each time I called customer service to handle the sending back of the original pair and then the second pair, until I got the final correct pair, each representative was kind, courteous, and super-competent. What an incredibly well-run company.
