A true blessing -
I have extra wide feet, and a few medical problems with them. I've just started walking again. These socks are wonderful, no binding, my toes have wiggle room, my feet stay dry, no blisters. What more can you ask for in a pair of socks.

My husband is on his feet all day and is not exactly overweight - so I don't understand why more manufactures are not creating such a product - it took us quite a while to find it since I couldn't even find a extra large cuff. So thank you Zappos and excellent delivery service and customer service.

Disappointed!!
For the price, this was a waste of money for basically a tube sock. Yes it was wide across the toe area and padded better than a standard Hanes sock, but it has no band across the top of the sock to hold it up. I would definitely not buy this sock again.

I am the administrator of an assisted living center. I am using the socks for a couple of residents - one who is diabetic, the other who has some edema due to peripheral neuropathy. In both cases, the socks aid in their proper foot care by providing extra cushion for protection and comfort, and reducing friction, restriction, and moisture, all of which lead to breakdown in skin integrity. Once the skin is broken and damaged, there is a chance of poor healing, which in turn can lead to infection, gangrene, amputation. So, you see, anything that can be done to PREVENT blisters, broken areas, and cuts can very well save a foot or a leg.

These were really not extra wide.
My father couldn't get his foot into them at all.

My husband is diabetic and he thinks that your socks are wonderful. He says that they are comfortable and help keep his feet from hurting.

 |  | I had an older version of an Asics shoe and was not sure what to buy, just knew I wanted one that was as comfortable for walking. Zappos has a number to call for help with sneakers. The person who helped me called Asics to find out what the newer version was so I would know what to order. Had my shoes the next day. Have yet to find service on the web that is as good as Zappos. My size was only available in black (not the best look) but I went for it anyway for comfort while walking. |  | ~ , October 07 2008
