I have been wearing these for years and they seem to have gotten a little wider in width. Otherwise I can easily get 10 years worth of wear out of these shoes. Throw them in the washer and away you go. Good quality shoe. Worth the expense.

Even in the wide, these shoes are narrow! Combined with a low-instep and just overall smaller than normal sizing, they hurt my feet terribly. Definitely order at least 1/2 size up and get the wide if at all in doubt. I wore them out thinking they would stretch, but it's clear I should have gotten a larger size. Another for the shoe graveyard/resale shop.

Great shoe -
I wanted a casual shoe that I did not have to wear socks with. This shoe really fits well, and I have trouble because my foot is narrow. There is no arch support, but there never has been with top-siders. I'm thinking of buying an identical pair for next year!

Very Sperry -
I've got too many Sperry's already. These are your normal fit and style, but with a slightly different sole. I shouldn't have gotten them because I'm getting sick of always having to tie the leather laces that keep coming undone. But, if you like Sperry's, you'll like these. The fit's the same, maybe slightly looser at first, and they're great for casual times.

I bought the silver Sperry's a few weeks ago. At first they were slightly narrow for me, but I stretched them a bit and wore them for the first time this week and they were perfectly fine the whole day. The color was more intense than I thought it would be, but I really like them, and my boyfriend thinks they're pretty cool too.

Comfort... at last!
With lower back pain, I find that most "summer" shoes don't provide enough support, but these did! I can HONESTLY say that these shoes have been most comfortable and enjoyable to wear "sockless" this summer. Ordering a pair in brown to get me through the autumn... maybe longer?

Great Shoe; Runs a bit big -
I love these shoes. They are extra comfortable - no breaking in required. They do seem to run slightly big, though. I usually wear a 9.5-10, so I bought a 9.5 and they're still just a teensy bit roomy, though not inconveniently so. A great looking shoe.

SHWEEEEEEEEEET!
The shoes arrived in a flash and were immediately on my feet! I LOVE THEM!!!! As some of the others reviewers mentioned, I did NOT have a break-in period. The shoes were comfy from the moment I put them on. You can adjust the tie to loosen or tighten the shoe. They don't have a lot of support, but they are a great weekend or commuter shoe. I love that they won't be destroyed if I'm caught in the rain. This type of shoe just let's you slip your (bare) foot into it and go! I had absolutely no break-in period - I put the shoe on and went shopping. I'm going to get another pair in another color. Love the shoe!!

A Classic -
I sail quite often, and this shoe is great for working on deck. Adequate support and excellent traction. Easy on, easy off. And nice enough to wear for a casual evening out. Love the plaid lining! The drawback- I ordered a 9 wide (don't usu. need wide) and these were still quite narrow at the ball of the foot. Typical of Sperry, I think.

I have worn Sperry Top Siders for 30 years. They are the best. In those 30 years I have only needed to purchase 3 pairs and I wear them all the time. They last forever!
The service from Zappos was unbelievable. We learned of Zappos from family and will continue to do business with Zappos.

Boat shoes are often too narrow for my wide foot so I ordered 5 pair of various boat shoes in wide widths and these Sperry’s were my number one choice. They are soft, good looking and roomy.

Fit was large -
Unlike other reviewers, I thought this shoe seemed to run large. And although it retains its classic preppy looks from my college days, it didn't feel like it offered adequate support.

Wearing these shoes is like wearing slippers. I could immediately wear them without socks, and can walk for miles, literally, without any discomfort. I love the retro style, and they are versatile for work or play.

Best shoe I've ever bought!!!
I'd seen lots of girls wearing Sperry's and decided to try them out for myself. Boy am I glad that I did! These shoes are so comfortable. On their inaugural wearing, I wore them the whole day, and I didn't get blisters (which is rare.) These shoes are a little more expensive than I usually would spend but are well worth the investment!!!

Summer is coming...
I love my Topsiders. Whenever I buy a new pair, I know the warm weather is just around the corner. They are so comfortable (especially when they are totally broken in).
