All I gotta say is these shoes rule!! So comfortable, so stylish!!!! I love Draven!! And I looove Zappos even more for carrying the shoes!!

The shoe looks great, and is more comfortable than I expected. It has a lot of cushion when just sitting around. But after walking for a while, the cushioning doesn't "bounce" back so your feet will get tired after walking around a great deal in these shoes. However normal everyday use should be fine, just don't go for a hike in these.
The fit is quite a bit larger than marked. Normally I wear an 11.5 athletic shoe or 11 dress shoes. I got 10.5 in these shoes and they fit well but are by no means tight or "too snug."
Visually the shoes are great. They are very different and noticeable. My only problem with them is that the black stripes are not as dark as they appear on the picture, but seem a bit faded. I assume this will increase with time as the shoes get dirtier, and scuffed up. On the other hand the white cleans relatively easy with a wet washcloth so far. I thought for sure with all the dirt I got on them they would be deeply stained but no.
Overall these are good shoes if they are your style. Definitely not an everyday shoe, but they're fun to throw on every once in a while to mix things up. They are also great for wearing around the house because you can just slip them on and off.

One of the raddest shoes I own -
Be sure to buy these a half size smaller than you’re used to. If you wear a 9 get an 8.5. Other than that these shoes RULE!

I bought two pair of these. One pair from Draven, and one from Zappos. I didn't realize they all had the skull and crossbones on the right shoe, this is not apparent from the images on the Zappos site, but I’m cool with it. I actually like the skull and crossbones so it works out. They fit right out of the box, no need to break in, they were comfy from go. They have slip-on comfort, so I wouldn't say they're great after tearing around NYC all day, but I wear 'em all day anyway, they don't hurt my feet, and they look totally dope. Chicks love 'em too. And me? I love chicks. So, it's win-win.

I Love the shoes -
I loved the Duane Peters Alcatraz shoes. I was very satisfied and if you are someone who is interested in the style of the shoes, I would tell you they are worth it. The only down side to the shoes is that on the right shoe there is a felt skull and it comes off easily, so don't go in the rain wearing these. I wear a size six and it says to get half a size smaller than you wear. I took a chance and got the six because 5.5 was unavailable and they fit.

 |  | Most of the time people just email to complain. This is just the opposite. I'm totally thrilled with my purchase, as I have been in the past just buying shoes. This is going to be the best Christmas ever for my mom. I was a wee bit unsure about ordering some clothing online for her since she is so incredibly fussy, but this item is perfect!
