I buy several pairs of Sensi Mauis a year. I wear them every day on lava and rough terrain. They have the perfect amount of arch support for me. I can take a new pair out of the box and walk miles in them. I have extremely flexible feet and thus need good arch support. Most slippers make my feet hurt in minutes. Here in Hawaii one hardly ever wears "real" shoes, so it was a great find to find a pair of slippers with arch support that would stand up to my ocean lifestyle. I wear the slippers with everything from dresses to shorts and the occasional Jeans (when we go to the movies in the cold AC). They run a size small so while I have a womens size 12 foot which would normally be a mens 10. I need to order the Sensi mens 11-12. My husband wears a mens 11 and he order the Sensi 13 and they fit him perfectly as well.

My Sensi sandals are decent. They aren't the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn, but they look great and are made well. It took me a bit to break them in, but once I did I was satisfied.

I'm returning them. I was hoping for a tan "leather-look" flip flop that was a bit dressier than a blue or a black. While it looked fairly nice, it offers no arch support. But the worst part is the noise it makes, a very plastic sounding squeak.

Cheaper quality than I expected. The plastic is hard and has yet to mold to my feet. I've developed a blister under my right big toe from this sandal, so I cannot wear it right now until my foot heels. Not much for comfort, but adequate for walking around the apartment. Hoping for more from an Italian-made shoe.

My second pair. For me, they are great. Only minus is that they hold water in the sole which allows one to dribble water if you go inside soon after getting them wet.

The shoe is not true to size, I ordered an 8 and they fit like a 7 1/2 nearly too short for someone that wears an 8...I would have sent them back but discarded the original box they came in....I will know better next time...

Nice Waterproof Thong -
Overall they are pretty much like I expected. I usually wear a 10.5 and based on the reviews saying they ran small, I ordered the size 11/12. They definitely run small. I got them to wear around the yard and not have to worry about getting them wet. The thong part that fits between the toes isn't as comfortable as I'd like but it is acceptable. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Good flip flop for the gym -
This is a good sandal for the gym. That is why I bought it. They are comfortable. However, I wear a size 12 and they put 11/12 together, so the fit for me is tight. I would purchase a 13 next time.

Good sandal, but not ideal for gym -
Shoe is very comfortable. The water draining system seems cool for keeping standing water out of sole, but I use them at the gym and there is always some water left in the sole when I put them back in my bag after shower. I'm concerned they may have some mildew one day.

Not for Men -
These flip flops are too small and narrow for men as they are Italian made and the sizes match a woman's foot better! I even exchanged the shoe for a bigger size (almost 2 sizes bigger than a U.S. shoe) and my foot barely covers the shoe. Not very happy!!

Great for the gym shower or poolside -
Very comfortable and supportive for a flip-flop, with nice sleek looks. This makes a terrific shower shoe for the gym, with good traction and more grip than the typical thong. Plus it looks great and the bumpy insole is like a mini foot massage.

Recommended -
A sharp-looking sandal for a young gentleman. The solid color and thick sole provide an extremely sporty appearance for the cool teen. The artificial material is not nearly as comfortable as natural leather, so I don't recommend wearing them for lengthy hikes. But your kid brother will be the envy of the preteen girls if he hangs around the block with these slaps on his feet.

Just didn't fit well -
The top piece was too high and the sandal would not stay on my foot. The bottom seemed good for draining water, but I would barely walk in them.

The idea of this sandal is great but unfortunately the product falls short of its potential. Sensi's Maui is a bit on the clunky side and, as other reviews have said, very plastic feeling. The oversized straps are a bit uncomfortable for periods of long wear and the sizing could be more accurate. I actually ended up returning the first pair I bought for a size smaller because I thought they made my feet look too big. After the second pair came in a smaller size I found them to be too short and gave them to my friend. She is the one who says they are uncomfortable. Overall good concept that fall flat.

Nice, but not the most comfortable I've owned -
Positive: Very nice drainage, good if you want to use it in/around water. Looks well-made; should last a long time. European size is spot on; US size listed may be a 1/2 size large (I wear a 42.5 Euro/9.5 US, the sandal is a 42-43/10 and fits perfect). Molded/formed footbed is comfortable, overall.
Negative: Mostly plastic; has a plastic feel when worn. I would prefer slightly more arch support in footbed.
Recommendation: Nice, but I'd recommend a similar flip-flop by Teva (w/o the "drain" option), much more comfortable with a cloth strap and soft, "cushy" footbed. Of course, the negative to that one is the footbed tends to compress after a while (which prompted me to try these...I can't win).

Great around the pool -
I don't wear these sandals for anything, but hanging around my pool; I couldn't live without them. So great to step right into when you're stepping out of the water. Don't have to dry your feet first. So convenient!

This is the best made shower shoe I've ever worn. The shoe also has great arch support, but since the heel depression allows your heel to go down too far, your arch winds up taking most of the weight. It's ok for short periods of time--like showers, but it's not a shoe I'd wear any longer. Also, people might want to know that this is one of those shower shoes that has a chambered sole, so that if you've worn it in the shower, when you get out, you leave a trail of squelched water behind you. Small points of difficulty in an otherwise very well made shoe.

Maui is great, but not my all time favorite -
I now own 6 prs. of Sensi sandals...I love them all, but my all time favorite is still my first pr. which I purchased at Nordstrom in San Francisco around 1995...as for my most recent purchase, Sensi's Maui, I love the look, I like the smooth footbed (a nice change from the original prs. but not a preferred and permanent change), a little stiff under the ball of the foot but maybe and hopefully I will be able to get use to it...answers to the rest of this review sums it all up...I wish Sensi would bring back into production the original pr of thong sandals that I purchased...they had a flat squarish toe box shape, the capris ice type of material and color (my pr. was a transparent flesh-pink color), a regular between the big toe and 4th toe thong strap, and the foot stimulating nubs in the footbed like the capris ice sandals I purchased from Zappos...I would appreciate it if your company would place an inquiry with Sensi about this...thanks very much...and as I’ve written in the past concerning your company's service, I can't praise it enough!!!...it's wonderful!!!...I appreciate and enjoy doing business with ZAPPOS.com...sincerely, Nellie B

These are the only flip-flops I wear. They stand up to a lot of use and abuse and never get nasty. Perfect for around the pool, just buy 1 size up if you can.

A Little Pain -
The tang, I guess you would call it that, goes between the toes causes some pain when walking. I think it could have been shaped different to be more comfortable.

Noisy!
These sandals look cool and are pretty comfortable but they squeak when you walk, and pretty loud. It can get a little embarrassing in quiet places.

Great features!
First is the comfort, it's formed to match the contours of your foot sole. The holes in the sole drain and also keep foot odor away!

Very Unforgiving Sandal -
I have seen reviews on here of people using these sandals in public showers. I would have to say that the shower is the only place I would consider wearing these.
They are made of very unforgiving rubber, and don't give much. My pair came with one of the straps kinked to the side, meaning it dug into the side of my foot. They are hard and durable, but certainly not comfortable.

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
