Not quite what we'd hoped for.
My husband loved the socks from Smartwool that I got him a couple years ago and asked for some more; this is a different style, but it was available in his size. He says the top band is too tight compared to the others and cuts it, so if I were to do it again; I'd go up a size in this style.

Great Socks - Period -
For the most part I avoid wool like the plague. It's hot, it itches, it smells when it gets wet. Well, not so these Smartwool socks. Maintains perfect temperature, not itchy at all, and doesn't smell at all. Extraordinary comfort to boot.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Anything made by Smartwool.

My son loves these socks -
My young adult son just moved to Boston from the San Francisco-Bay Area. Once there he said he needed socks, so I had Zappos send him some Smartwool socks. He says he loves them -- soft, warm and not at all itchy.

Hubby loves these socks!
My husband is pretty picky about his everyday socks but these have him smiling... nice and cushy.

I'm done. I've given up on all other socks. Smartwool makes the most comfortable, hardest-wearing socks I've ever owned.

They look nice, but...
These socks stay in place liked they're glued on. They look nice, but I prefer a bit of breathing room, and was happy to take them off when I got home.

The ONLY socks!
After I bought my first pair of Smartwools I donated all my other socks to Goodwill. Only problem is that my daughter has discovered them as well and keeps stealing them out of my drawer. I will wear no other brand socks forever.

I ordered two pairs of shoes this morning (around 10am) and I receive an email that my order not only had been processed, but shipped and it is 2:40pm-on the SAME day. AND I was upgraded to priority status. I have to say WOW. This is the most impressive online service I have had from retail - ever. I bought my wedding shoes from you back in Feb, and I do recall how fabulous your customer service team was. I can't believe I have waited this long to purchase from Zappos again. You went above and beyond my expectations and I greatly appreciate that-esp. in these times. I order online a great deal because of my busy schedule and it is hard to go out and go shopping. This is the best treatment I have had by far- and I haven't received my shoes yet, but I know I'll get 'em much sooner than I thought. KEEP IT UP!!!
