Chaco Z/2 is amazing -
I absolutely love my Chaco’s. I went rock climbing and ended up the second day having the shoes hiked three miles. They are great for hiking to the crag. I have no complaints at all.

Outstanding Sandal -
Perhaps the best sandals ever made. I am currently on my third pair. I disagree with a previous reviewer though. Resoling is not a great choice; mine delaminated at a very unfortunate time.

Wonderful Sandals -
These are the best sandals I've had and pretty much the only ones I wear anymore. They are extremely comfortable and wear very well. I have even used them while backpacking with a full load (35+ lbs) with no issues. They are my favorite pair of footwear. Yes, they are expensive, but considering they can be resoled and straps can be redone, it's worth it. Plus, I have friends who have had pairs for years without needing a resole.

Chaco Z/2 -
After seeing the Chaco revolution in my town, seeing almost everyone wearing them, I decided to try these out. They are very comfortable, and cool looking for sandals. Adjust the straps as they tell you to, leaving room for your finger to fit under them, and they fit very well. You don’t even notice the toe strap when you adjust them like that. I have narrow feet, and the heel risers are almost to narrow even for me, so I would go for wide if you have average feet.

Sandals for athlete’s foot sufferer -
I am prone to suffer from Athlete’s foot and the Chaco's Z/2 sandal is the best. It exposes your feengers to the air as well you have good control, you can drive, you can clime the stairs, you can work, you can go shopping etc. I use them all day long.

Excellent sandals -
After reading a review in LifeTime Fitness magazine, I ordered a pair for my husband. He loves them. He was loyal to Teva brand, but we couldn't repair them. I like the fact that you can repair Chaco's. They are environmentally friendly. He said they are VERY comfortable and has received a lot of compliments from people on the street. My one complaint is the ankle strap is too long. We do not want to cut it for fear that the strap will begin to fray, however it does hang down and sometimes drags on the ground. Otherwise, the shoe is everything advertised.

Great Chacos!
I'm a big believer in Chaco sandals. They are amazingly comfortable, mostly due to the fact that the straps can be adjusted to specifically fit your foot. The soles are also better than most athletic shoes I've owned so I wear my Chacos for anything and everything. They're great for rocks, anything around water, and anything else you can think of. Push them to the limits and they'll stay strong.

Yeah, it's pricey, but worth it -
The straps are adjustable, fits solidly on the foot. Cons beside the price: the curved up foot bed can be irritating if the sandal is fitted loosely at the heel and it is not as easy to slip on as an open toe style would be. A 1000 times better and more comfy than the last pair of Tevas I had the misfortune to buy.

Best sandal ever -
I have tried multiple support sandals. These are the best. Good for all day wear and they grip your feet for running, hiking or working in the yard.
The new model is slightly lighter and less aggressive tread than the older model.
You will not be disappointed.
I like my sandals snug to my foot an exact fit, so I always buy 1/2 size smaller.

Good sandal -
The toe strap is a bit hard to get used to if you have not worn this style before. Comfort wise it's pretty good, I think my keens are a bit more comfortable if you like a softer insole with more arch (like me). Has a nice clean style to it.

GREAT upgrade over previous model-
Chaco hit a grand slam with these. This new version of the Z/2 is fantastic. They are much lighter than previous models and seem to have a much shorter break-in period. Don't let the price tag scare you away. These are well worth the extra cost over last year's sale models. One other note... the placement of Chaco's logo is on the buckle and looks more appealing than it did previously on the strap outside the ankle.

 |  | I received your email this morning about my shoes being shipped priority! I am just ending my 12 week maternity leave and will be going back to work on Tuesday. I have not lost all of the baby weight yet so I have been busy shopping for new clothes and also needed some new shoes for work to spice up my wardrobe. I have a difficulty time finding dress shows b/c I have a narrow heel and dress shoes do not stay on my heel very well. Therefore, I am always keeping an eye open for dress shoes with an ankle strap. My friend recommend Zappos.com and it has been a fantastic experience searching for shoes that fit by criteria! What a great website and great shopping experience!
