Overland Bag -- The Perfect Traveler's Aid -
Overland Equipment's bag, which I recently bought in a lovely shade of violet-rose, is fabulous! It has a big, roomy outside pocket large enough to hold a paperback, travel papers, snacks, or whatever. Under a full front flap (also with a zip pocket) that closes with big Velcro patches, are interior pockets for cellphone, sunglasses, and other necessities for which one doesn't want to rummage around a bag bottom to find. The main compartment is also huge and very capacious. For all its careful and thoughtful structure, the Overland is extremely compact, well-engineered, sturdy, and generous --nothing cramped or chintzy about its space. It thinks its a "big tote bag!" A long, adjustable black webbing strap is perfect for cross-body wear, shoulder-bag wear, and even handbag use. Very impressive bag; you won't find a better bag to buy for your summer trips to the mall or to carry with you to any global vacation spot!

Very good purse/bag -
I was looking for something that I could use as a purse as well as a daybag and this is it. I can easily fit my wallet, phone, pens, a book, a nalgene water bottle, and much more in this compact over the shoulder bag. The shoulder strap fits perfectly. It seems to be waterproof although it does not proclaim to be. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I never give any item five stars unless it absolutely blows my socks off. Summary: great daybag/purse for a great price.

Great bag, could be an inch or two bigger -
I love this bag. Everything just fits perfectly... though I'd like a bit more room to fit one or two more things in here! It's comfortable, looks good. One oddity... the zip in the front. When the flap opens, all the contents of that front flap shift inside to the top of the flap. I keep my metrocard, work ID, etc. there and when I open the bag and then have to open the flap, the stuff is all over. Other than that, I recommend it highly and would buy another bag from this company, but probably the next size up.

Perfect Knock Around Bag -
This bag is perfect for everyday use. It is a good size with well placed pockets - holds more than you'd think. The flap pocket is perfect for a wallet, but you have to remember to keep it zipped or stuff falls out when you lift the flap to get to the other parts of the bag.

Love it...
Love this bag... my only wish is that the strap was longer for a more comfortable cross-body use...

The purse is exactly the size I was looking for. Especially like the shoulder strap as it is wider and more comfortable. It will be perfect for wearing across the body and saving pain from carrying a purse on one shoulder.

Really nice sized bag. I was shocked in how much room I really had in the bag. Pictures don't do justice. I'm excited because now I can reach in my bag and not lose everything in the endless space. The shipping was also super fast, it was amazing

Medium size purse -
Very functional. Love the full-sized back pocket. Bought it for travel, but it works so well. I'm using it everyday.

Wow!
This is just what I was hoping for! I really like the light colored interior, as it makes things easy to find. I like the fact that I can wear it cross-body style as it frees up my hands. It is a great size for me.
Thanks, Zappos for great service! I tried another bag recently, but it was too large and the return process is painless!

Perfect travel bag -
I spent a bunch of time figuring out what to take for a week in Paris that wasn't hopelessly dowdy or too heavy to cart around on 6 km. walks all over the Louvre and could make it into a fancy restaurant as a reasonably hip messenger-style look. This bag (got it in brown) worked great. Holds a hefty book and other items for carry-on; has must-have outside access to zippered compartment, so you don't have to open the whole purse up and dig around for credit cards, cash, passport. Unlike a leather bag, its very light for all-day use when not loaded with a book; can hold a smaller-size water bottle. Even used it to carry a pair of dress shoes to change into for evening wear.

Okay, I love the color brown. Size is great, strap is nice and long and plenty wide to provide good support over my shoulder.

Nice travel bag -
I really liked the green color. I do think it needs magnets instead of velcro to hold it closed though, but it is a great travel bag and really holds A LOT more then it looks like it would. Strap is adjustable and comfortable.

Great cross body bag!
I love the Austin! It is comfortable to carry across my body, leaving my hands free for shopping, pushing a wheel chair, etc. Organization is so easy with this bag! It seems that there is a perfect place for everything I need to carry, except a magazine. It accommodates a paperback novel very nicely, though, along with wallet, small make-up bag, tissues, key ring and cell phone.

Almost perfect -
I've had this purse for about a year and I use it every single day. It is the perfect size for my needs - holds my large wallet, wipes, cell phone, makeup, small brush, receipts, etc. It has a ton of organization and I would give it 5 stars EXCEPT that the velcro on the front is losing it's stick and it's enough of a problem that I'm having to look for a new bag now. I think Overland bags are the best because they have so many pockets, but that doggone velcro is making me crazy. I wish the flap secured in a different way.

Great Anytime Bag -
This is the perfect travel or errand-running bag. I originally got it for travel and the occasional flea market, but find I reach for it daily. The strap is long enough to wear across your body and the interior pockets make it easy to reach for your sunglasses or cell phone. I have this bag in green and love the contrasting bright interior liner- the black only has gray.

The best Purse ever!!
I have never been so organized in my life! The cell phone and eyeglass holders really free up space on the inside of the purse for my wallet, keys, camera and other stuff. No more digging around looking for my keys. The inside lining is really pretty, too!

Perfect over-the-shoulder bad. Large enough to accommodate what I need on a regular basis and then some... Also, soundly constructed.

Everyday bag!
I have loved hit bag since the minute it arrived. Lots of great compartments, but not too many to be overwhelmed. I got the green one and people are commenting on how cute it is too! I use it more like a purse/handbag and work on a college campus so tote it around everywhere.

Excellent man bag -
If you are tired of walking around with your pockets bulging with stuff, or needing a belt to keep your pants up; and you don't want to carry a briefcase or backpack everywhere, then this bag is for you. It has a masculine shape and is large enough to carry everyday items without looking like you are on your way to work. No one will mistake this bag for a woman's purse. The only reason this bag didn't get 5 stars is that the main compartment doesn't have a zipper closure, so you have to be careful how you set this bag down, or you will be picking up all of your stuff. Another helpful addition to this bag would be a handle on the top.

Good size and accessibility -
I'm really happy with the size and design of this bag. It will last a long time and get good use. The only thing I could ask for is if it was a bit lighter, but that's what you get with heavy duty canvas. Inconspicuous, carries a lot of stuff at once: wallet, cell phone, glasses, notebook, calendar, keys, and other random stuff.

Great balance of travel and home -
I purchased this bag for a European vacation. It's the perfect size for travel - fits a guide book, water bottle, digital camera comfortably. I've also been using it back at home running errands. Convenient pockets and comfortable strap.

Perfect for Europe cruise!
I've been looking & looking for a bag that I could cross over my body for my upcoming trip to Europe this summer with my hubby, && I finally found it!! I 1st bought this in the Aloe/Dahila coloring, but when it came in, I was shocked on how "green" it really was. So, I returned it for the Moss color instead. It has tons of space! I took it on a business trip to Chicago for a conference & chocked it full with my camera, a small notebook, pens, small umbrella, wallet, & a bottle of H2O. It held everything beautifully. I really like the oversized pocket in the front, to hold pens or postcards or stamps or little things in general, so that you don't have to hunt for them in the main compartment. I also loved the flap & velcro (though, I'm hoping that the velcro sticks better over time). The strap fits comfortably over your body, even with the bag overloaded. I'm very happy with it!! The only bit of criticism that I have with the bag is that there is no top zipper that closes the main compartment. So, you have to be certain that you're picking up the purse at the top instead of the side, otherwise everything dumps out. Other than that, it's PERFECT!

Overland Austin -
I really like my basic black Austin a lot!! The Austin is very lightweight, therefore very comfortable across the body. Deep enough inside to hold a water bottle and a book or a folded-up magazine. I also have the larger/sturdier Overland with side holders for water, but it is more than I need for an everyday kick-around bag. The only fault with Austin is the front zip flap section because items tend to slide upward. I couldn't locate my wallet or lipstick and eventually found them above the zipper line. The remedy is to use that flap for things like Kleenex, brochures, airline tickets, etc. Yes, I flew with it recently and it was just fine. The velcro is kind of noisy but you get used to it. I'm glad I bought it!

Cool-looking and well-made -
I have been looking for a good quality and stylish messenger back since last summer and I finally found it with this bag! I purchased the green ~ love the color and the funky pattern inside. It's the perfect size for everything I carry, and I love to slip things into the outside pouch that I use a lot, like my keys, cell phone & lip stuff. I usually only spend $20 on bag, but this bag was worth every cent and not outrageously priced. Can you tell I love this bag?!

 | | Dear Shipping and Processing Departments,
I have never had such good service in all my life (68 years). I am so impressed with Zappos I hardly know how to thank you. But I do thank you so much. With the lousy service we get in so many sectors, you are a bright shining star! I am telling everyone I know how wonderful you are. I ordered a pair of Naot shoes yesterday and they came todayexactly the right size and color. It is truly unbelievable! Why can't everyone be like you? And the shipping was free!! Many, many thanks again for making my day.
