I love the Columbia Nevis sandal. It's such a comfortable sandal. You can walk for miles in it. I have bought six pairs. I was trying all the different colors. My favorite is the white. I like to always have a clean pair for vacation. You can wash them, too! Just stick them in the washing machine and they clean up nice. And Zappos is the the best site to buy them from. I love Zappos! The customer service is amazing. I always get them a lot sooner than I thought and the quicker shipping is a free gift from Zappos. Love you Zappos and thanks for always taking good care of me.

Just had to continue my praise for these shoes. I am on my 3rd pair and as much as I love shoes, these are my every day, go to pair and they never, ever disappoint. Even when wet, a few minutes in the sun and they are good to go. They better keep making these puppies!

Really wanted to love these based on the reviews, but they didn't work for me. Love the style; it was just what I wanted, and the length of the sandal was great. I am a size 9 in most sandals, 9.5 in most street shoes, but the toe ring and upper was too snug. Also, my foot pronated inward with these to the point where they slipped off the footbed a bit towards the inside. That has never happened to me before. It just didn't feel right. I have sensitive feet and skin so I am not taking any chances. I'm sending them back and trying the Merrill Genoa, which is a similar style. It's more expensive, but I'm hoping it fits! As always, Zappos is perfect with orders and returns!

I have these in black and I love them! I cannot stand thong type sandals that have the thing between my toes, so these don't bother me. They stay on better than regular slip on sandals too. I highly recommend these and am buying a few more pairs because it seems the ones I like never stick around. I generally wear a wide width shoe and these fit great.

These are the most comfortable scandals I have ever had on my feet. I am very picky about scandals and I hate the scandals with the between the toe piece. The Columbia Nevis with the ring on the toe fits true to size and not once did they hurt my feet. I have several colors and I am ordering more. The first time I put them on my feet I could have walked forever in them. I have tried many different scandals and these are the best for comfort. I wish they would make lots more colors because I would buy them in every color. I wear a size 5 and it's hard for me to find 5's that fit well.

Better than filp flops -
Nevis is easy for the older generation to wear and have control of footing. They are great to wear at the beach and in the ocean, just rinse off and away you go. This is my second pair - I may just order two this time.

I wear these Columbia Toe Ring sandals about 9 to 10 months a year, from early spring until the snow flies! Very, very comfy. I have the previous version called Altamont Thong Sandals and now the Nevis, which are very similar. I have them in Stone, Black, Two-toned Blue, Spearmint, Tank and white. I can go all day long in these sandals. I normally wear a wide width shoe, but these fit so perfectly that you'd think a cobbler had made them just for me. I highly recommend these sandals because not only are they comfortable, they fit well, look great on and don't make that "flip flop" noise when you walk...

This is the most "supportive" thong shoe I have found. Very comfortable with stretch fabric, and substantial arch for a thong. Wears well, my second pair in three years, the first still wearable.

GREAT Sandal -
I was looking for a white sandal to wear with shorts or jeans; this is a VERY comfortable sandal. I have heel problems, but this is very padded and nice arch support. I wear a 10 and this fit perfectly. I would say maybe it was a half size longer than most 10s, at least most 10s lately! I also bought another Columbia sandal and love it too!

Like a lot -
I bought this sandal in the stone color. I wanted something to wear with white capris and tan pants. I didn't want a white sandal and these worked perfectly. The color looks good with white and tan.Really any color. They fit great, really comfy.

Third Pair I Have Owned -
This is the most comfortable casual sandal I have ever owned. This is the third pair I have purchased, having worn out the first two pairs over the past 3-4 summers! I would highly recommend this sandal!

Super sandal -
I love these and have them in every color I think Columbia makes in these. They have a great footbed and the extra wide side straps make them better than most thong types. Size is right on target. Toe ring is soft and supportive. They compare to Merrill thong type sandal but less money.

I love this shoe!
This is my 4th pair so, needless to say, I really like them. They are true to fit and they remain looking nice even after a lot of wear. I wear them with shorts, capris or anything casual. I love that I can order risk free and get my shoes right away. Thanks Zappos!

Comfy shoe!
Shoe looks great and is comfortable, I have been trying to get away from flip flops because they’re not so great for your feet, but these stay snug to your feet, and have nice arch support. I would definitely buy another pair!

These are right out of the box comfort! I walk my dogs everyday, and can go miles and never think about my feet! I like them so much I got another pair in brown.... may even go for a third! I'm on my feet a lot, and these are great! They even hide my bunion!

I absolutely love these sandals, having very narrow feet I have a very hard time finding sandals that hug my feet and are comfortable. They do not stretch out of control.

The reviews of this sandal were so great; I actually ordered two pair for an upcoming vacation. I wear an 8 1/2 but ordered a 9 as they only come in full sizes. Size wise they were okay, and if you decide to order these I would advise ordering up. I am, however, terribly disappointed in the comfort. The toe ridge became painful after just an hour, as did the arch support. I really wanted to love these so I decided to try to "break them in." Big mistake. After two hours I was in agony. Because I did wear them around, I'm stuck with the pair I wore, but will be returning the second. Other than having a slightly wide foot in the toe area I have no outstanding issues with my feet and am baffled as to the painful fit. I'm just thankful that Zappos handles returns as nicely as they process their orders.

I have difficult feet - everything hurts and gives me blisters in the summer, and I have never been able to wear thongs, but I bought a pair of these on sale in Florida last year 'cause they were cute in powder blue and cheap, cheap, cheap and they were unbelievable. So I tried the ultimate test - took them to Mexico to walk around on cobblestones in 90% humidity and 90 degrees and see if I got blisters etc. Nope - they were great so I'm buying a few more colors (at a much higher price, so you know I like them!). One caveat - I wear a nine and I'm wering these in an eight.

Great sandal -
I've had these in black for a year, and they are wonderful. I've got long narrow feet, bunion problems, and need good arch support, and these fit the bill perfectly. They are very comfortable for long wear and have also held up great with everyday abuse.

Most comfortable thongs ever!
These are the most comfy thongs I have ever had. After wearing them for a year, I ordered another pair as a backup for when these wear out someday. The "toe cuff" looks like it could be uncomfortable, but it is the exact opposite. I get a lot of comments on these shoes.

Perfect shoe for me!
At a sale two years ago, I found a pair of Columbia sandals very similar to the Nevis, so I was excited to find this website and such a huge collection. I have worn these on vacation - walked for two ten hour days without a thought for my feet! My feet are often hot in leather sandals, but that doesn't happen with the Nevis. I have bunions and the toe piece minimizes them, while being very comfortable. Sizing was perfect. A friend ordered some as soon as she saw mine! I have black and tank - tank is a great neutral color. I prefer the ones that do not have white soles, but for a smaller foot - I am a ten - the bright colors would be lots of fun. I have used my old ones to climb rocks, walk on barnacles at the beach, swim in, and to church! Very versatile and you can get them wet and keep right on walking in them without stretching problems. The built in give of the upper part allows them to fit a variety of widths. They also have very good arch support and are lighter than my old ones. I would highly recommend these to anyone, especially if they have problem feet or a difficult fit.

Excellent walking sandals -
My friend had a pair. We walk a lot together up and down hills because we live in the canyons of Los Angeles. My husband liked mine so much he bought a pair, even though they are not men's shoes. He bought Women’s size 11 and enjoyed them so much I ordered another pair for him. They are excellent walking sandals because the toe covering keeps the sandal snug to the foot, so you don't have to grip with your toes in order to walk. Nicely padded. No blisters from the soft foot top.

Finally a sandal that fits narrow feet!
I have a hard time finding sandals and flip flops for my narrow feet. The Columbia Nevis fits perfectly, even though it only comes in Med width. I was hesitant about the comfort of the wrap thong that goes around the big toe... but these sandals are SO comfortable that I wear them on 1-hour summer hikes with my dog. Never had any chafing at all. I've worn 1 pair for a year and they still feel and look great. Highly recommend!!!
