I found these sandals many years ago and they are great, urban/light work duty sandals. I wear them solely as my primary sandal – two pairs are used still as work sandals and the new ones go to my everyday wear. These sandals have been to the pyramids, the Vatican, the baseball game, and walks at the cabin. The build, quality is great and the shoe is retired from foot odor well before the sole goes slick.

I am 300lbs and my pair is only now breaking down after 3 full summers!!! The Velcro has been amazing as has the overall quality... buying 2 new pairs, see you in 6 years. From a grateful customer.
To the folks at Clarks keep up the great work it has been much appreciated as I would not even consider a competing product having worn your sandal.

This is the second or third pair of these sandals that I have worn. There are no more comfortable sandals than these!!!

Compared to other Clarks Sandals -
This particular sandal does not have the thick sole as other Clarks have. It is not as quite a solid feeling sandal. I wear my sandals for about one year and hope this sandal will last at least 9 months.

Comfortable but...
There is a "but" if your feet sweat as most peoples' do! The shoes look savvy enough to wear to a fairly nice restaurant or whatever, AND besides that are extremely comfortable...really do fit 'customly' thanks to the adjustable straps. Great traction on the rubber sole. So comfortable and sturdy, you could even hike in them! Very secure. No rubbing or irritation. Only drawback for me is the suede footbed which really soaks up sweat and leaves them kind of smelly. Not a big issue if you only want them for casual strolling around town in the evening and dinner out. But they are so comfortable and sturdy; I want to wear them everywhere and for long walks. Then when it is hot out, they do get rather smelly. Makes me wonder why Clarks didn't opt for a "rubber" EVA anti-microbial footbed. Then the sandal would be just about perfect for all around use. Apparently there is a company that makes sandal insoles that would take care of this "sweaty" problem and I am looking into it. Summersoles they are called. So, if those end up sticking to the footbed...I’ll be very pleased and that is one option to consider. These sandals are not waterproof either. However, they are so comfortable and secure when walking, I have to give them 4 stars overall. Hope this helps. Oh...also Clarks is a British company. I usually wear an American ten. But with Clarks I always take a NINE.

 |  | Zappos was the only place in the US I could find a particular shoe. I had a pair about 30 years ago and loved them. Great service. This was my first order with Zappos and they upgraded the shipping to next day. I was sent a card by the service rep. Nice touch. I have ordered a shoe on another website and after weeks of waiting the shoes were not even shipped out yet.
