Great looking shoe, bought it for both my boys, 9 and 7. Comfortable from the start, no \'breaking in\' issues. The dye does rub off on socks and feet; otherwise I\'d give it a five across the board.

I bought these shoes for my son and he loves them. They were a little uncomfortable at first, but they have worn in and feel great now. \r\n\r\nI would recommend them and purchase them again.

My nine year old loves them!
We were very pleased with our Sperry leather shoes. The fit was perfect, they arrived as promised. Sometimes he has a little difficulty keeping the leather shoe laces tied otherwise they are perfect. We get lots of compliments as they go from the playground to church on Sunday.

My son hates "Dress Shoes" but he really likes these. They are comfortable with or without socks. He has a wide foot so the wide is great. They can be used for dress or casual occasions and they look great.

Sperry Kid's Cutter Lace (Youth)
This order was the first one I've made on Zappos, and I couldn't have been more pleased. My 13 yr old son needed a pair of nice looking dress/casual shoes for a several year-end school events and his dress black shoes just didn't work with his Dockers slacks. The order was placed, and within a day or so, I received word that they would be delivered even sooner than previously scheduled. I was so pleased with the very quick delivery time as well as the perfect condition that the shoes arrived in. I will definitely use Zappos again. My son loved them; they fit well, and looked even better. He now has a great looking shoe to wear for those "nicer than every day" events that always seem to pop up during the summer!

Nice Boy's Dress Shoe -
My twin boys needed a good looking shoe to wear with khaki pants for a function at the local yacht club. Topsiders were the obvious answer. These look very nice on, and my boys enjoyed the grown up look. There were a couple of complaints about the heel hurting a little bit, but I actually think that will get better as they wear the shoe more and it begins to conform to the shape of their foot. Overall, I was happy with the purchase and really appreciated Zappos' quick service.

Unfortunately he outgrew them before wearing them out -
I bought my son his second pair of Sperry Cutter Lace shoes and he loved them from the moment he put them on. Unfortunately my 8 year old is already wearing a size 6 shoe and he's gone through 2 pairs this year! We're vacationing in San Diego this August and I'll purchase another pair before the trip (just before!). His Dad has a pair that are 10 years old and I have a pair that's over 30 years old and with minimal care, they all look great!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: My son loves flip flops all of a sudden; Sketchers are comfortable in the same way yet don't wear as well.

My 9 year old is too hip for the room now!
My 9 year old wanted a pair of these Sperry's. Much to our dismay, we were unable to find a pair here in Wilmington, NC (yes, deck shoes unavailable in a coastal town - go figure!). So I'd heard about Zappos.com and decided to give it a try. Not only did I find what I was looking for but found them at a very reasonable price. I ordered them on a Tuesday afternoon and they arrived the next day on his birthday. He absolutely loves the shoes and how they go with just about everything. Now, my other 3 kids want a pair as well. Zappos.com will definitely be getting more of our business! :-)

THE BEST OF "BOAT" WORLDS -
Onshore or offshore these are the ticket; truly a great shoe. Perfect for after-school and casual wear, especially for the very active. My son will make mincemeat out of the average shoe but we've found that consistently Sperry gives him a good run for our money. After breaking in they fit like a glove but wear tough. Never disappointed with Sperry topsiders and I’ve been wearing them for almost 30 years too. Not having to drag the young one into the shoe store and knowing how easy it is to return, if necessary, really has me sold on the Zappos experience.

My son loves his new shoe -
My son said these shoes are very comfortable and I like the look of them. They are easy to slip on and off and the extra padding behind the heel is a nice little bonus. We needed something dressier then a sneaker, but still casual. These shoes are a perfect match!

I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful!
