The Life Walker is a keeper, all right. Sure, firm steps; my flat feet are guided along comfortably, too. One quibble that applies to, seemingly, 100% of shoes sold today, not to the Propet in particular: the laces are too long. Overlong laces can easily become untied and trip us, including runners and hikers (perhaps while hiking along a cliff). I cannot understand why. If there is a secret shoelace tying method known only to hipsters and skateboarders, I don't want to know it. Let's have laces that aren't long enough to tie up hostages.

These are great shoe. They are very comfortable. Best of all they are easy to get on and off when walking through airport security. These do not look like an old lady's shoe

HUSBAND THRILLED WITH THIS SHOE -
My husband would not take these shoes off his feet when they arrived. For years he has thought he wore a 10 EEE (if he could find that size in a shoe)...if not, he would compensate with going to an 11 EE. When I realized that this shoe was actually offered in a 10 EEEEE I decided to surprise him and see if it worked. Having purchased from Zappos in the past for myself, I knew how easy the return policy was so I didn't have anything to lose. I ordered both a black pair and a white pair. When I handed the box to my husband, he was shocked. He never even knew that there was such a thing as a 5E. For the first time in his life, FINALLY a shoe that fit his foot, was comfortable, and was not popping out the sides. He LOVES THEM. Plus, he is only 45 years old, so we were thrilled to realize that they did not look like "old men" shoes (or clodhoppers!!!). GREAT PRICE...GREAT STORE...GREAT JOB ZAPPOS!!!

Liked pedwalker 1 better -
I took the Life Walker because the pedwalker was not available in white. This shoe is lighter and pretty comfortable but is not as deep to accommodate my orthotics.

Great shoes. I really appreciate the selection of wide sizes Propét offers, and that they make shoes that look like dress shoes from the outside but are padded like sneakers on the inside. The only problem I had with these shoes was that the insoles that came with them were very loose and kept slipping back under my heels. Ultimately I had to glue them in place, and now they're fine. It also took me three tries to find the right size for this shoe, because I was used to buying shoes that are longer than I needed in order to get extra width.

I ordered this shoe 'cause it sounded like it would be really comfortable with excellent cushion. I have a left TKR that didn't take too well and I need cushion. This shoe wasn't what I had hoped for. But, it looks really nice. Probably should have ordered a narrower shoe but I have another pair of Propets that I really love and I ordered the same size. Too wide and does not cradle my foot like the first pair. Maybe made on different lasts? I am going to put an insert in the shoe and see if that makes it more comfortable.

Great shoe for a full shift!
I work for a National home improvement company. We very seldom sit down while working our shift, constantly in motion on a concrete floor. I wore these Propet's right out of the box. My feet are usually hurting pretty bad when I get off from work. These Profet's are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They look great too! I'll be buying other pairs soon.

Sturdy shoe - While not a gorgeous fashion statement, this shoe is the very best walking shoe I have found. It is sturdy, comfortable and gives great support.

Propét offers a Perfect Fit -
I have found that Propét shoes are the best for the really large feet. Since I had discovered that wider is many times larger, (I used to use a size 17 shoe, only to discover what I really needed was a size 14 5E shoe) I have been able to wear shoes that really fit for a change, and help my step, no longer tripping over too long of a shoe. Thank You so much...

I found this shoe to be attractive, comfortable, and met the requirements I had for orthotics.

Have bought different shoes for work as an RN. I work 12 hour shifts and am on my feet most of the time. These shoes are the only shoe I have found that you can wear right out of the box all day long. The insoles also hold up extremely well as well as the whole shoe. I recommend them to all the people I work with.

Good Price-Good Value-Does What it Says -
As an ex-marathoner and distance runner into my fifties, I have always had arch problems. Having shoes for walking, now my means of exercise is essential. High price does not always mean arch protection in a walker. I thought I would take a chance on the Propét Life Walker, and I couldn't be more pleased. I would definitely buy another pair without reservations.

Arch support and comfort!
I wore this shoe the 1st day and my arch stopped aching. This shoe gives great arch support for heavy duty walking and everyday wear. I can wear these all day and night and they feel terrific. Can’t say enough. I am buying other Propét shoes because these are so fantastic. Keep making 10.5 wide. They are perfect!

I purchased the white leather Propet shoes and just love them. They are light on your feet and hold up well. The sizes are a little roomy and that suits me fine. The low heel will allow you to "slide" into the shoes without much trouble. Hope this helps make a better choice.

I wear a 10 1/2 6E shoe. A lot of manufactures mark their shoes size or two smaller than they really are and call them wide. This shoe is really as wide as marked. A great shoe for someone with duck feet

Slippery when wet!!
I bought these in white to wear in hospitals. I wear 13EEE. These shoes are as immediately comfortable as any of the five pairs of Propet shoes I've owned. But I have to say that if you come in out of the rain and walk on a smooth floor (tile, linoleum, stone, etc.) be prepared for the shoes to slip back as you step forward for a good 200 yards until the soles get fully dry. Never had ANY shoes do that. Other than that they are great shoes.

One problem I have is that laces are too, too long. Will have to purchase new, shorter ones to keep them from dragging on the ground. Arch support could be better but, overall, good product.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
