This a great little pair of boots, a very good compromise between its much more expensive Frye competition. The zippers make for easy on and off and the size runs true to other HD shoes.

I bought these because I was looking for a somewhat dressy everyday boot with a sole that would give me some grip on icy New England sidewalks. I haven\'t had a chance to sample icy weather yet, but this sole should be decent. I love the style - it is very much a classic Frye-harness-boot look. Another reviewer thought the toe looked funny. It is very much a square toe western boot style - doesn\'t look funny at all if that\'s the look you want. The shoe is very narrow through the body. If your feet tend to be at all wide these will pinch horribly. Don\'t even think about wearing thick socks. I\'m still breaking these in. I wear them for only an hour or so at a time; after that they start to hurt my feet. Part of it is that I never wear heels, and these have a bit of one, so my weight feels like it\'s being borne by the sides of my feet as I\'m shoved forward into the boot - but I bet if I wore high heels a lot my feet would be more used to that sensation. There is not a lot of cushion or arch support. However, there is no cramping in the toe area and no rubbing at the heels. I wear a solid size 9 and found the sizing to be accurate.

What a disappointment. I wanted to love these boots! I was really excited to order them, but the moment I squeezed my foot into them I knew they had to go back. They are very narrow. My feet are normal width, so I think all the glowing reviews must have been written by ladies with tiny feet. I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear, and they were super tight and my foot felt all crunched in. I only kept them on long enough to walk to the mirror across the room and my feet were already cramping up. Plus, the boxy toe looks odd in person. Too bad. On the plus side, Zappos makes everything so easy and the service can't be beat.

The boots look a little different than in the photos, but very nice (a bit dressier than I'd expected, so they go well with a nicer outfit, but if you wear the heck out of 'em I'm sure they'll break in great and get that scuffed up biker look some of us crave). I purchased my usual size 7 and they fit well, with just a slight bit of room that will allow thicker socks on colder days. They do zip, but there's no need to futz with the zipper. They slip on easily. There's some arch support, which took a bit of getting used to for me (just a different feel on the feet, but I tend to be hyper-aware of anything I'm not used to). I love the color, which is sort of a matte black with a slight polish. I've received several compliments on them. What I keep hearing is, "Those look so expensive!" And really they're so reasonably priced, but I'm not saying.

Wowie zowie, great boots! From the moment I put these on I knew these were going to be my "pretty much everyday boots" because I love them so much! No break in time whatsoever and they fit true to size. My boot's heel is ever so slightly tapered in the back and I like it that way; the picture makes the heel look straight and chunkier. Be aware that these are a heavier boot (but I like that too). Nice surprise: the inside is spongy soft! I cannot believe how comfortable these are. I usually take an 8 or 8.5, and I got the 8.5 and had no problem with rubbing or slipping or any of that. Comfy with a regular weight sock, but room for a heavier one, too. I highly recommend these. Seems like a boot that will take a long time to wear out! I wonder if Zappos minds this. By the way I've had nothing but hilarious fun conversations with the Zappos people; love them!

Awesome boots -
Got to love this style. It’s a good looking shoe. But...I cried a little bit :-( the boots hurt my feet a lot the first and second time I wore them but since the boot is so freaking awesome I still wore them and it’s just worth the pain. I recommend these boots!

Love these boots!
I ordered my boots on a Friday and had them on Monday. Excellent service. The boot looks great w/jeans and was very comfortable. True to fit did not have problems w/them being too narrow.

I have wanted this style of boot for a while now and went back and forth between these, the taller style and the Frye brand. I chose these and ordered a half size bigger because of the narrow width (my feet are slightly wider) but had to send them back and go for my actual size. They fit well.

Long break-in time and still disappointed -
I was totally disappointed in this boot. It's a really cute riding boot and I got plenty of compliments on them but they are so heavy and uncomfortable. I have had these boots for over two years now and the only time they are comfortable is when they are soaking wet from riding in the rain. If you ride for long periods of time and your feet tend to swell, these are definitely not the boots for you ~ too stiff. I am glad to see the newer model has a zipper to help get your foot in easier. I sure hope they have a softer insole also because you have to get off your bike and walk eventually. I only wear a size 7 medium width so it's not like I have that big of a foot to squeeze into them!

I love this boot. I love that it has a side zipper which give it a closer fit and the lower heel which is very comfortable walking. The heel was too big for my foot so I had to exchange for a smaller size. I went a half size smaller but it is still a little loose in the heel. I don't know if going a full size down would have made a difference but love them too much to trade again. My foot is narrow to begin with so it could be me. I did a lot of searching for this style, have had similar boots all my life but these are really the best I have come across.

Perfect Motorcycle Boots -
I ordered 3 different pairs of Harley boots, and these were the ones that made the cut. They're incredibly comfortable, more so now that I've been wearing them for 2 weeks. They fit true to size, and the width was perfect. The leather on the left boot has gotten pretty scuffed from shifting gears, but it's holding up well. I love these boots!

I normally wear a size 9 but ordered an 8.5 because I knew Harley boots run big, and I probably could have gone with the 8. This particular boot is narrow. I have tried on other Harley boots and they are "normal" width. That said, I still love the boots.

I am a size 10.5 so I will try on an 11 or a 10 due to the fact that the manufacturers don't make many 10.5's...this is way too big in the heel. The toe fits great but I will be sending them back as I know I will only get blisters if I try to wear a loose heeled boot. Bummer they look so cool.

Fantastic score on these boots!!
I was looking for a casual but nice looking boot with a bit of a heel. These are perfect! I broke them in at the Fayetville rally - no blisters, no soreness, great pair of boots! Plus the bonus that they look sweet!

Great Motorcycle Boots -
Very cool-looking boots. Also very comfortable. I wore them all day riding, dining and shopping! Would definitely get another pair if these ever wore out (but they're made so well, they may NEVER wear out).

Sharp Every Day Boot -
This is a great looking boot to wear with jeans or casual pants. It is a little snug but I think it will break in and be a little more comfortable.

Loved the boot... That is singular boot... I only had ONE boot in the boot box... I called and your customer service was wonderful and said I will be getting the matching boot in a few days... I do love my "boot."
